I'm not sure where to post this but I had a debate with a friend and he said I was just dumb. But I entered a low limit 50 dollar cash game .25/.50.

First hand Im not Big blind and posted ahead my BB to be in the hand two people head post their BB third guy raises to 4.5 BB.

I call it with QQ. Flop comes 2,3,2-turn is 3- river is 7. I'm calling his middle bets along and push a harder bet one the river with me QQ guy calls with AA. He wins. His debate is I should have re-raised his pre flop 4.5 BB bet instead of just calling it. I bet I think 16 BB through the river and he just calls wins. I burned I think around 40 BB's out of my 100 to start. He's saying I should have 3 raised to know "the strength of his hand". and should have just folded at that point if he 4 raised. I'm like in what world are you going to fold QQ pre-flop? I'm totally understanding of a 3 bet pre-flop raise but he had a fairly aggressive pre-flop 4.5BB raise and I was out of position so simple called to see if I could see a beautiful Queen on the flop turn or river. Was I wrong to not have 3 raised him to see his strength.. or wasn't it kinda already obvious he had some suited pair or broadway cards to have his initial raise?

But except my coaching, I've studied poker alone last 3 years.
These days, I wanna make a companion who can talk about poker with me.
