I currently live in GA, and have to drive to Harrahs Cherokee to play poker. I go maybe like 3/4 times a year which is not enough. I recently bought a Frontier Flight pass(Yea, its frontier, I know, but its unlimited flights besides fees), and it starts in May. The plan is to fly somewhere every Friday after work, whether it be vegas, cali, whatever, to play live cash poker. I am waaaayyy more familiar with online poker, but I got an email this morning from WPN(Americas cardroom) saying I got some money back because some account I played against was breaking game security(I guess cheating or bots), so I am really just trying to stay away from online poker now. I am a winning online tournament player, but a I am BARELY a winner in online cash(.10/.25) over 150K hands(2.46/BB100) I want to study with people and have a poker group, because I feel like its a pretty good way to advance my game. Living in GA is rough, because I do not if there are any poker groups in a state where poker is literally illegal. Also, a study group in Cherokee NC is also fine, because starting in February, I want to drive up to Harrah's every weekend to get as much game time in as possible, and build up my bankroll a bit more before going to Vegas. I have made more profit in the 4 times I went to Cherokee last year(3 1/3 sessions, and 1 2/5 session), than the whole year I made on ACR cash. So, I mainly want to swap to live cash and tournaments completely, but want to start with cash. I do not even have the slightest idea how to join a study group, so, any help would be appreciated.

I live in Washington state, there’s A couple of poker card room’s that have good games so if you were looking to travel I think with your experience it would be profitable for you. Im mostly a rec player don’t play as much as I like due to work but I also travel for work so I try to find new spots when I can anyway
