I'd like to join a study group that could help me improve my game in any way. I play MTTs and so far I've been doing fine, but I haven't played enough tournaments to have a clear idea about the quality of my game. I've played a bit more than 40 low stake tournaments online with total ROI 410%, I've recently played a few micro million tournaments on pokerstars without profit.

I just started a 5NL to 25NL 6-Max NLHE Study Group with a forum and Skype live chat group and am recruiting members. Those interested should be able to devote time to the group each day participating in the following on a regular basis:

• Post and comment on hand histories in forum
• Participating in sweat sessions via Skype or Team Viewer
• Discussing poker theory
• Work cooperatively with fellow study group members to increase each others’ poker knowledge and skill set

My study group, Micro Grinders is accepting 5NL - 25NL 6-max NLHE members and larger stakes members as mentors.

We have a forum (http://microgrinders.boardhost.com) and Skype for instant chatting. We do sweat sessions, hand history reviews, leak finders, and theory and strategy discussion.

Group is just over a week old, we currently have 8 members and looking to recruit 7-8 more at this time.

I see over 100 pages of threads on this topic and have looked at at least a dozen and haven't yet found the type of study group I'd like to join - and because I'm working on launching a group via Skype that has the myopic focus I'm looking for, I wanted to both ask if a. anyone has a group that they'd suggest I'd be a good fit for based on what I offer (a HUGE thanks in advance) - and b. if anyone would have interest in joining the group I'm currently managing based on the focus. So here are the pertinent details (for both joining a group or if you'd like to join my group):

I am a LIVE player (despite living in a "Free" country)
I am a MTT player
I play buy-ins between $50-$275 and satellite into $1100 whenever possible
I commish a popular live league
I provide content for a small live study group
I create content for a local poker magazine
I study on a nearly daily basis

I'd LOVE to join a Study Group that focuses on LIVE MTT and within the buy-in range I play. Meanwhile, my group "meets" on Skype the first Tuesday of every month with the following format:

9pm: Hand Discussion (provided by Presenter)
9:15pm: Content Review (provided by Presenter)
9:30pm: Concepts and Plays (provided by Presenter)
9:45pm: Daily Hand Quiz discussion (Group)

If not clear, 1 hour of discussion a month isn't anywhere near what I'd like to be involved with. Again thanks in advance if anyone has any suggestions for some Groups already formed that I can join. I am very willing to engage in discussion and look forward to participating. please reply if you'd like to join the already existing group. Once I'm able to PM, I will send a follow-up post.

Micro Grinder Study Group / Community - Recruiting Members & Mentors

Our study group / learning community focusing on micro stakes NLHE (up to 50NL) is currently composed of 13 members. We have a website (www.*****************) with an intregrated forum and member-only instant chat system. For dedicated members we also have a Skype instant chat group. We do tutorials, sweat sessions, hand history reviews and strategy / theory discussion. We have a mentor / learner philosophy with currently one mentor.

We are recruiting people that are interested in learning and / or mentoring (see mentoring page of website for details).

We just took our new website / forum live 4 days ago, so not much content is on it since we were unable to transfer our threads from our old free hosted forum.
