Hey guys, looking to make more of a commitment to poker and make it a bigger part of my life. My overall poker goal is to crush online tournaments and then have success in live tournaments and one day play and cash in the WSOP Main Event. One thing missing is poker study partners to strategize and grow with.

I'm mainly a low stakes MTT and SNG player. I play on a daily basis and get in a few hundred games per month. Average buy in is about $7 at the moment. I am a winning player so I'm just going to build my bankroll and see how much higher I can play and still win.

Hey guys this is just a general question about meeting other poker people for studying and learning the game. Does anyone have any tips for meeting other poker people within your own city?

I started playing poker in home games with friends, but they are all purely recreational with no desire to learn or pursue the game. As far as meeting other dedicated players like myself, I've never really been able to. I've played cash games at casinos, but when I'm there, I generally just focus on playing/winning/taking in information and don't get too social.

I am searching for a person or a smaller group (maybe 2-4 times a month, depending on how everything fits together) up to, maybe 3-5 people who like to study on a regular basis. Not because they feel they are obligated or have to, but because of intrinsic motivation, the joy of learning and communicating in a constructive, honest, peaceful way. Just being dedicated (in this case to Poker) Enriching each other times.
Being open minded and highly reflective would be amazing.
Moreover it would be beautiful to come along in a very friendly way just to make the whole adventure more pleasent.

I play Micro stakes MTTs for 3 months now several times a week, between 2,20 and 7,50 buy-ins, 10% or less of the time some 11$ buy-ins.
I do think I have a relatively good understanding of the structure of MTTs, the theoretical aspects of the game. I need to learn how to transfer my knowledge and understanding
to the tables, to make it more practically.

I final tabled 11 times and finished twice in 10th place. Apart from big leaks for example in 3bet pots my game is generally spoken to inconsistent. Sometimes I play really solid poker, sometimes I am just messing around which hurts my winrate a lot.
I am from Western Europe, so this might be considered because of time zone differences.

I have no clear plan of how a study session could be structured with 2 or more persons
