I have been playing poker on and off for the last 4 years. But just recently I have been taking really serious and I am wishing to step my game up and to control my leaks. I mainly play 5NL and am building a bankroll online avg around 5-8bb/100 hands. In live, I play 1/3 and average around 40-50 dollars/hr. I would check out some of the free content in places like Youtube that coaches who run training sites have and see if any of those seem to be a good fit for you. Especially for the early parts of learning the game, it's probably more cost effective to go to a site than 1:1 coaching, plus a little less risk/effort in vetting the coaches. I've personally used or heard good things from people I trust about:

The downside to sites compared to 1:1 coaching is less personal attention, you have to motivate yourself, navigate the content, create your own program so to speak, but I feel like with a military background that shouldn't be a problem for you

Yeah, I have used those but the problem is that my game isn't bad I just can't identify my own leaks. Also, I have a problem with being over-aggressive when I have a good EV. I just need help discovering the leaks in my game so i can fix them and become a more efficient player.
