Re: Official Americas Cardroom Help Desk (Or see WPN sub-forum)

But the banks are not supposed to knowingly accept online poker funds. Bovada instructs people to not say it is from online poker when they cash their checks. I guarantee for an amount in the six figures when there has never been a previous history of there ever being even close to six figures in the account the bank would have questions. What would you tell them when they asked what this money is from? That has been my question the last few posts and you still have not answered it you just say you "doubt the bank would turn down the money". I understand it is in the banks financial interest to accept money but at the same time they are not really supposed to be accepting poker funds, so it is also in their best interest not to.

I guarantee that you don't know what you're talking about and didn't thoroughly read my posts and my advice. Try reading it again, I've answered your questions.

Furthermore, you didn't win 100k+, so this conversation is asinine.

If its a check you are fine and they will not ask questions. You will get a deposit a receipt and funds will clear at most banks within 2-3 business days. Any time 10K or more of cash is deposited the tellers have to fill out a report, checks are different. I use to work at a bank for 5 years. I know my stuff very well. I use to big checks deposited all the time, I never asked a customer what the checks were from, nor was it my business too. Cash is what they keep their eyes on.

Re: Official Americas Cardroom Help Desk (Or see WPN sub-forum)

I'm having trouble with freezing tables.. usually its majority of them but almost always have another table working. other clients work perfectly fine, browsing/streaming works fine, and I'm not doing this all at the same time. I emailed support they keep saying it's on my end. My cable is plenty fast enough upload and dl speed to support the client. I've tried researching it but haven't come up with a fix yet. any suggestions?

If I were you I'd call their 800# and politely ask to get someone to confirm receipt of your email docs live.

Your problem might also lie in a lack of turnover of the funds if you only deposited for the 1,000,000, didn't play anything else, and then want to pull all of those funds back off.

Uninstall, reboot, update Internet Explorer (this is the browser the software interfaces with), update flash, update java, update windows, reboot, reinstall poker software.

Some players do get questioned about the foreign checks, mostly at smaller banks and credit unions where tellers are very unfamiliar with such things. I'd like to add that a clean and well dressed appearance along with a pleasant demeanor goes a long way towards disarming the suspicions of a nosy teller.

The site for betcoincasino aka betcoinpoker which connects to the ACR network is down.

Hopefully they didn't steal the money.

Anyone have information?

BetCoin is a crap company and I don't recommend them due to their managers.

There is a BetCoin thread in Internet Poker.

Other WPN skins use bitcoins for deposits and withdrawals now, best to stick to the network owned skins for safety and security.

You still amazingly aren't aware of what my original question even was and yet you claim you have answered it lol. You are too arrogant and or ignorant to realize this. I never said anything about 2-3K checks because I already know the answer to this. I have deposited many many 2-3K checks. My question was about 6 figure bank wires. My post was before the million dollar tournament and that is why I had the question in case I final tabled it. You say the conversation is asinine but it very much wasn't. The question was very valid before the million dollar tournament on ACR was completed.

My question is about a six figure bank wire like the one people would receive if they final table the million dollar guarantee on ACR.

Oh okay sorry I misread the thread. Anyways yes they will ask for the name of the company and type of business for wires. Just gets a check. It's the easiest IMO.

I had a similar issue this past summer. contact one of the forum reps in the WPN sub forum, either winning_td or WPNRep, there names will be green.

pm them, they will forward your issue onward. you may have to send the docs to one of their personal emails

You might title this 'bitcoin nightmare'. I decide to test the bitcoin process. I made an account with both coinbase and blockchain. I buy $50 worth at coinbase and transfer that to blockchain easy as pie. Next, I initiate a deposit/payment to acr. They give you a 7 minute window to complete the transaction. I finish and wait...............nothing! I check blockchain and they indicated the completion of the transaction. I wait a couple hours before contacting acr. They said I missed the time limit. I send a 'snap shot' of the blockchain data per instructions and now I wait. It's now been 24 hours with no news!

seems like there will be some trial and error with the new bitcoin depositing. someone in the WPN sub forum(maybe even more than one person) was complaining they had similar issue to what u experienced. you should be able to get it resolved by contacting ACR support

WOW. ACR gives a 7 ****ing minute window to complete the transaction? what a joke. none of the bitcoin poker sites have bull**** like that. you just have a deposit address, and in some cases can generate new ones whenever you want. sounds like ACR is run by a bunch of morons

Just get ready to ship the coins before you initiate the deposit. It is not hard.
