9/10 times I request a withdraw from WSOP site it takes them 24 hours or more to even acknowledge the withdraw then another 1-2 days maybe to process it and send it to PayPal.
I mean it's not THE worst, I remember waiting like 2 months for a check from Bovada years ago , but still I expect more from a heavily regulated site in 2024 linked to a regulated licensed casino.
But still some of the delays include:
- One time they froze account and a withdraw because I made a deposit then later withdrew a bunch of money , they asked me to provide an explanation!
- One time they just cancelled the withdraw for no reason and no reply.
- Most recent time it took over 30 hours to acknowledge the withdraw request, then asked for copy of an old credit card to "review and verify" and still waiting - had verified my account months ago!
And half the time their emails go to my spam folder and you have to click Deposit to access Withdraw on the software.
Pokerstars delivers withdraw to PayPal within minutes and even Bovada with crypto generally sends funds in a few hours!
Not the worst site and great to play for WSOP rings and bracelets but you'd think the WSOP would make sure they're putting their name on a good service site.
I’ve had the same issues with them regarding withdrawal time lines. I’ve been using their site for multiple years, everything is verified, etc. I cashed out just under $5k a week ago using PayPal. They only issued a partial pay out (less than I withdrew by ~$1k) and a week later I’m still waiting for my funds. I do not have any pending deposits.
Leaving withdrawals pending for multiple days in hopes that people will reverse their cash outs is such terrible business. In 2024, it’s not difficult to move money. Whenever I deposited in the past, the money is out of my bank account within a day. Now I’m waiting more than a week to get money through PayPal from them.
I also withdrew funds via bank wire so we will see how long that takes. At this point, it seems a week is their norm. I’m going to at least let the PA Gamblimg Control Board know about the issues.
