The reason I'm not worried about who's at fault is I thought I could solve the problem by not playing at WSOP. I thought I hadn't had these problems with other sites.

Thanks for the link to the gaming commission. Their complaint form literally requires a ticket number from the igaming provider. Talk about regulatory capture.

So no matter which place you play online, they all use different third party companies for ACH processing and any of them can cause the same issues as Global Payments did.

Turns out this was a bit of foreshadowing as apparently Global Payments also works with MGM. The transaction I was charged $35 and harassed about was $100 deposit to MGM, not WSOP. Which prevented me from depositing via ACH to WSOP.

Global Payments did send me a letter that says they got an error saying my account was closed. Again, the account was never closed and remains open. Hopefully it doesn't make it's way onto my credit score. There are loads of ways this could happen. I imagine a failure enum defaults to account closed or something when there's an HTTP error or otherwise an error in execution.

Does PokerStars PA run WSOP main event qualifiers? Or is that done now and just offered through the WSOP.com type platforms?

My credit score has been reduced from 797 to 787 because of the chuckle**** ACH processor used by this shitbag poker client. They claimed my bank account was closed, charged me $35, and now ****ed up my credit rating.

The best advice I can give is to never use WSOP or BetMGM / Borgata. They both use the same ACH processor who will bill you for their failure and tank your credit rating. If you do use any of these clients: DO NOT USE ACH, THE PROCESSOR IS BAD AND WILL TANK YOUR CREDIT AFTER HARASSING YOU.

Having issues with geolocation. Both WSOP and BorgataPA think I'm logging in outside of the state. ISP has no input. Anyone have any direction I can look to solve this? I used to be able to log in no problem on WSOP.PA at home, on my phone, w/e but now I'm getting issues. I am very much inside PA borders...

Ip address and geolocation are in 2 very different places. Might be thinking I’m not in the sand state because of this. No idea how that even happens. On with support with ISP/WSOP/Borgata for hours and no one has a clue

Sorry no advice but would appreciate some advice too. I can play on PS and WSOP but both Borgata and MGM have never let me log in due to geolocation issues.

I don't know anything at all about VPN, but I looked it up on Google to see if you can use VPN to show, broadly, your actual location instead of the usual false location, and I found:

"Turn on your VPN and connect to a server in your chosen location. For example, if you want to appear as if you're in the U.K., connect to a U.K. server."

Therefore, if you turn on your VPN and connect to another server in PA, (that works for the sites), it will "appear" to the sites as if you're in PA, (which you actually are), won't it?

Obviously, if that could work, you should ask Support if it would be acceptable to them as a temporary fix.

If you are caught using a VPN or anything that can be used to obfuscate your location (even if you are not using it to obfuscate your location) GeoComply - the third party company that as far as I know has a monopoly on ensuring GeoCompliance for online casinos, sportsbooks, and poker sites - will block you and/or your device(s) from accessing the site(s) either at that point or, in some cases, permanently. If that happens you have to ask the site to ask GeoComply to unblock you.

So I do not suggest anyone use any of those software even if you're not sending out false location information.

I have changed router/modems a few times. So every time Comcast would swap out equipment, it would switch which state was showing when I would open “maps” and find my location. First one was showing I was in CA, next router showed Jacksonville, and the third showed Maryland. Seemed to be the only variable affecting where my pc thinks it is.

WSOP has locked the account to investigate why the geolocator software isn’t working and my account looks like it’s trying to be accessed outside of PA. I swapped my own router in and I’m not having any more issues on my pc for location (now properly thinks I am where I am).

However, all the poker sites still think I’m signing in outside the state.

No vpn, no proxy. No one has a clue what’s going on. Trying to get on the line with WSOP support and see what’s going on now that they are investigating

Tons of geolocation issues in the past week, though strangely it works on my phone using the same wifi. Support is useless. Anyone else having similar issues and/or solution? I have no idea how their geolocation cannot detect my computer but can detect my phone when they are using the same wifi lol

Do you by chance has Service Electric as you ISP? A group of players with Service Electric have had crippling disconnection issues with all the PA poker sites for about a week now. Most likely some sort of geolocation issue with Service Electric. However, during the disconnection periods i have NOT been able to access via phone app (although I've only tried the PokerStars app during down time). Typically 2 or 3 disconnections per hour, lasting about 1 to 5 minutes each time.

No it's Verizon. I had one issue with stars connection this week, but overall PS and MGM have been fine and it's just wsop that has been problematic.

Do you get the "please restart your client" error on PS and it disconnects you (mid hand)? I just got that one today, though I think I've only gotten it one other time recently.

Whats up with this site and their slow withdraw times and withdraw issues?

9/10 times I request a withdraw from WSOP site it takes them 24 hours or more to even acknowledge the withdraw then another 1-2 days maybe to process it and send it to PayPal.

I mean it's not THE worst, I remember waiting like 2 months for a check from Bovada years ago , but still I expect more from a heavily regulated site in 2024 linked to a regulated licensed casino.

But still some of the delays include:

- One time they froze account and a withdraw because I made a deposit then later withdrew a bunch of money , they asked me to provide an explanation!

- One time they just cancelled the withdraw for no reason and no reply.

- Most recent time it took over 30 hours to acknowledge the withdraw request, then asked for copy of an old credit card to "review and verify" and still waiting - had verified my account months ago!

And half the time their emails go to my spam folder and you have to click Deposit to access Withdraw on the software.

Pokerstars delivers withdraw to PayPal within minutes and even Bovada with crypto generally sends funds in a few hours!

Not the worst site and great to play for WSOP rings and bracelets but you'd think the WSOP would make sure they're putting their name on a good service site.
