Double clicking on the player name brings up the note and tagging options.

Hmm, that doesn't work for me. When I do that, it just toggles between BB's/chip stack. For me, I have to click 100x, and all over someones avatar for it to maybe pop up. Sometimes I feel like I know the correct spot to click, and then it just stops working altogether.

If you click anywhere on their stack $$ it toggles from BB to $. I think you have to double click the letters of their name for it to work. I'll try next time I'm on to make sure.

It's double click on their image to open up notes.

Further complaining: The lobby window cannot be resized in any dimension, despite it not having anywhere near enough space to display all the info it has, and it neither fits a full HD 1920x1080 display fully, nor does it fit *on* a 1200x1920 display. Who is this thing designed for?!

Yup - 888Caption may help fix that. LikeAA, over in the caption thread, sent me the update installer to support WSOP.MI and seems to be working very well. I expect that he'll be updating for everyone soon.

I see you have Hand2Note also -- do you know a way to make it stop displaying a phantom HUD on WSOP? Clearly it's able to get enough information to build a display as it pops up instantly open joining a table, and has correct usernames, but the game client doesn't store handhistories of any kind that I can see, so it can't actually do anything... but I don't see any way in H2H for 888/wsop/whatever


... why doesn't the tournament Structure tab show how long levels are? How is one supposed to know what regular, turbo, superturbo, etc mean to them?


... OMFG. If you're in other windows, and a cash game pops up over it, and you act on it, then bring your other window back to the foreground, it doesn't clear the Windows highlight on the task bar, so the button on the taskbar continues flashing for your attention, until you click on the window to bring it forward manually.

God this software sucks.

For H2N - go to configuration —> HUD editor



unselect all and just select PartyPoker / Pokerstars

I will say though….I’ve been considering making a mini H2N hud with just the notes container instead of using the in game notes editor. Although Caption has notes containers too.

I believe the whole hud issue is because of Nevada's State law about not allowing such aids, so to make it "fair" for Nevada players they're not writing hand histories for any state.

And if you select "Nevada" on the WSOP site you can see that the TOS language under 7.3 is different than MI's, and pretty much prohibits all software.

Ya, same thing here, but I only have to click it 86x. Other times it works fine, but I've been using H2N for notes since that particular HUD feature is still enabled.

My biggest issue right now is the intermittent white flashing on the screen. I don't know if it's some kind of mind control thing or wtf. Surpised I haven't had an ocular migraine or some sht. I'd advise epileptics to stand clear.

Also, not sure what's up with the random emojis and chat bubbles popping up since the chat feature is apparently disabled. It's usually just the same quotes, either "bad beat" or "good game" coming from players that are not even in the hand. I'm guessing it's just some automated chat that the poker client is throwing out there, but why would they have it shout "bad beat!" in the middle of a hand after someone bets the turn on a draw heavy board in a huge pot? It's just a bit peculiar, if not annoying to say the least.

Not sure if anyone else is having those issues. . .


I've gotten used to the look & feel of the tables, so that's no longer an issue. The flying head passing out blast tickets in the middle of a hand is a bit annoying, but it's free play and I got quite a few $5 and $10 regular tourney tickets too, so I can't really complain.

I think a lot of the other issues with multi-tabling and the overall look can be solved with programs like 888Caption and intuitive tables. Just remember, no automatic seating.

Also, not sure if it's just because of a small sample or selective memory, but the cards seem to be falling in a way that's reminiscent of more realistic live game tourney play with lower variance than the other sites. I get good hands that hold up more often, and longer stretches with marginal/trash, which is the way I think it should be, right? On other sites it's like a bunch of regs all getting good hands they can't get away from.

I wondered that too, but it is listed in the lobby under 'blind level' below the 'buy in' amount and 'prize pool.'





Ya, I've considered that too. It's also able to display "stack size in BB." I wonder what other stats it can display without having hand histories?

Also, does anyone know where wsop is storing the in-client "game history." I don't want to sound naive, but if it's saved locally, maybe H2N can read it like it reads Chico's db file without a 3rd party card catcher/converter?

it looks like that option for turning off specific rooms is a per-statistic level option, rather than a "do not use hud for this site" option. this is infuriating.

OMFG, clicking the reload button in cash games (sometimes?) crashes the entire client. Poof goes 4 in progress games that don't autoresume.

It seriously pisses me off that the biggest brand in the business would put out this utter trash. I'm a software developer, and if I built trash like this, I wouldn't have a job. If my designers designed trash like this, they wouldn't have jobs either.

.. i mean, my god, it doesn't even have an auto-check button. The software actively is hostile towards providing you the information necessary to play, and the non-standardized UI design is actively hostile towards playing.

That word pretty much sums up U.S poker over the last year, HOSTILE. It's like they don't even want us to play, as if the only reason to legalize online poker was to ruin it. They simply don't want people losing their casino winnings to regs.

1) Select Cash Game HUD
2) Select Room
3) Unselect All
3a) For a HUD for Stars and Party...Select PokerStars and PartyPoker
3b) If you created a notes container hud...Select Pacific
3c) If you didn't create a notes container, go into your HU table huds and ensure they are only set for Pokerstars and Party.


4)Go into any tourney HUDS and do the same thing

Additionally,

Go into configuration --> Game Types and make some duplicate Game types...one for each room. Selecting which HUD you want for each room.

Hear me out now...they are trying to attract casuals, not seasoned grinders such as yourself. Poker in the US is the softest poker in the world right now. Be happy we have such soft pools. Withdrawal approvals next day is nothing new. My Caesar's sportsbook withdrawals are sometimes same day, sometimes next day.

So, you get to notes by double clicking directly on the person's avatar picture, and only in that space. Hitting their name box does nothing, hitting the transparent space around/close to the picture does nothing, hitting their money box toggles BB/Chip display. Nice thing? i guess is that you can keep each person's note editor up indefinitely it looks like, so you could h ave the full note editor up for all players at your table if you wanted to.

Curiously, there's an option to mute players after you double click them, but since there's no chat, it's pretty useless. Maybe that mutes the random emotes the avatars seem to do.
