One more question... By support, do you mean the number on the player's card or talk to the sportsbook?

Have successfully played live cash games in Vegas for 30 + years. Age is limiting my wanting to go to casino. Created an online account on this site. Does anyone actually win on Wsop? if so please honestly post your experience. Something seems wierd.

Just from someone that has been around online cash games from paradise poker days, went through bs like ultimate bet/absolute, full tilt freezing funds, lock poker just flat out stealing all of our bankrolls, playing against bots like crazy on euro sites, playing against lord knows who on ignition, playing against more bots on ACR, wsop has given me the fairest competition I have felt since playing on stars/full tilt, with the added bonus that my money is safe.

It is very possible to run terribly for incredibly long stretches of hands, im talking 50-100,000 hands, but you are not being cheated and I think that should give you the piece of mind needed.

I've played a pretty substantial amount of cash game hands on WSOP over the last 9-10 months (~150-175k hands) and I can say that there are a handful of guys on there who are winning including myself. Now the amount that I'm winning is extremely small compared to what I was making in the casino. The online environment is just so much different than live poker and I think it's really easy for live players to overestimate their abilities when going against tougher opponents who play online for a living. When I was playing live I would win somewhere around 40-50bb/100 and I wasn't doing anything special. Online it will be extremely tough to produce any win rate at all before rake-back, I think a lot of the 500nl regs are very close to break-even and are essentially grinding for their rake-back. There are guys on these very forums charging 150-200$/hr for coaching that are boasting online winrates of 3bb/100 so that should tell you something about how difficult it is to win at online cash games on regulated sites. That being said I think there is certainly money to be made on WSOP at 500nl but it's very easy to overestimate the amount of work involved in doing so.

But does WSOP NV and the other states all have software issue like 888poker? By that i mean if you play lot of tables, there is lagging and client crashes etc? Example when you play 8 or more tables, client freezes and crashes. Also when you click on buttons, sometimes you need to click many times or you can't even click it because of the client freezing. And when you reopen the client, tables don't even load up.

I do know the WSOP NV sites have much less players so less volume but could you play 12+ tables on WSOP NV or the other sites without lag? Such that could you play 12+ mtt and cash for example without lag?
yea same for me

Curious as to why you even grind online for these petty winrates, if your making 40-50BB/100 live. I mean spending time writing this post is already cutting into your hourly. You've given a prior rankings on wsop regs. do you mind sharing your SN.

Well you have to keep in mind that live poker is one table of 25-30 hands per hour vs online I can usually run 6-8 tables of 80-100 hands per hour. If someone could crush 500nl at 5bb/100+ and get in a lot of volume it is reasonable to assume they could make as much or even more than playing 5/10 or 10/20 NL live. However for me it has been very difficult to win anywhere close to that so far, but after reviewing my sessions I understand I'm still making a lot of mistakes in game that can be fixed. As to why I decided to move away from live poker... I got married in October of last year and the live poker lifestyle was really hard on both of us. My wife works a normal 8-5 type of job M-F and my live hours were something like Thurs-Mon from 8pm-4am so you can probably see how that was difficult for both of us. At the beginning of 2022 I decided to try to play one full year of online poker and see if I can make a decent living at it. I am enjoying the challenge and it has been a very enlightening experience so far.

When the WSOP NV software is updated, will that update eliminate the notes we have stored previously about the other WSOP.com players?

I think the best 2-5 guys online are going to make more than the best 5-10, 10-25 live guys unless the live guys have found a true honey hole of games. I have a buddy that rather randomly found an incredible selection of live games in the middle of the country for about 2 years, but even then I think he ended up taking so much money out of that ecosystem that eventually it dried up. Just the pure volume that you can put online is going to be more important than the live guys that play bigger stakes with significantly easier competition.

The thing is, the best 2-5 online guys are not going to be playing 5/10 live. They will make much more playing the highet 10/25+ games. the sad turth is that there's a pretty big cap after 2-5 online where there will be a lack of games/volume. You can see that pretty clearly on WSOP, barely any 5-10 run consistently to multitable

They don't give airfare to residents of LV, IIRC they give you FSP instead. Try asking at a rewards desk.

just wanna say im absolutely disgusted that wsop gives so little time to act preflop in there mtts and that it doesnt auto engage timebank. and its disgusting they havent fixed this problem over the last 3 yrs i played there. been champion club the highest status the whole time. pstars nj does it and acr does it so why is wsop acting like sheldon adelson towards real poker players. literally ive spoken to highrollers who know they owners and the general consensus amongst all of them is they just dont care about us real players. also the nv dge seems to be entirely owned and controlled by wsop.com mafia style and the nv dge knows nothing about the actual game of poker and based on there antiquated old school ways they ban huds and have some of the worst software yet they have a monopoly. if they think this all isnt obvious its because of their own laziness or the fact they already are so juiced in behind the scenes that they dont care about their outward appearance... the lack of competition by all of these juiced in sites is stifling the us poker market although it has been thriving more as of late. by juiced in i mean they are clearly not provided their operators license based on merits bc their merits only hit the rock bottom of requirements to attract players. this software could be so much better and its like they arent even trying. i seriously feel as though sheldon adelson runs wsop.com from beyond the grave as absurd as that sounds outloud it truly feels that way.... i wish theyd fix these probs and allow huds and auto engage timebanks as a start and eventually bring back chatbox and actually have some normal ppl be the point of contact at nv dge so it doesnt appear so much like a mafia scam even if it basically is

also it is absolutely disgusting that you cant preset your betsize buttons on wsop and if anyone knows a way around this pls lmk. i heard table ninja or table tamer possibly but i remember wen wsop would force close for months if u open pt4 even it it wouldnt work w wsop so im hesitant to do trial and error on my own. the ignorance of these operators feels like 100% humidity on a 105 degree summer day.

Lol think absolutely disgusting is a few levels too strong for not having customizable betsize buttons. In fact I think it’s a good thing in general that they aren’t catering to mass multitablers (and I am one) and I am in favor of not having huds and hand histories. These are the best ways including policy enforcement to stop bots. I think we all know they could improve software, and more importantly wsop could improve marketing, but I think you are failing to look big picture when you only want changes that would benefit you.

Some of the regulars do win at decent clips (8bb/100 supposedly). Overall WSOP is pretty soft compared to rest of the world. Some of the breakeven regs on here would be bumhunted as fish if they ever tried playing 500NL elsewhere. I doubt if many of the winning players on here can beat 100NL on ROW sites.

Modern bots don’t need HHs, many of the most popular botting softwares use screen scraping that can read cards based on images. All you need is a custom screen map. Hell, there are commercial HUDs that work on HH-less sites.

I don’t mind no live HH but WSOP should allow us to download post-session. It’s a pain to itemize win/loss with excel sheets for taxes as you have to log all $ won with $ loss per pot.
[WSOP.com Nevada] Unofficial thread Quote

You do not have to log $ won/lost per pot. A session can be whatever you want to be consistent with. Daily or weekly sessions are fine.

For example if using daily sessions, just keep track of net wins/losses for each day and then at the end of the year total all winning days for income and deduct all losing days.
