i play as luckypuppy on wsop and lost a bunch of money in PLO over the last 2 months. i have a pretty good ROI in MTT and I'm missing the circuit because they emailed me asking if i was satisfied with the site and i said no citing things like never getting tournament tickets and having no player chat.. on top of no hand history, poorly made software, i truly dont know why i stuck with wsop so long and i'm very happy playing live cash at Peppermill instead of a site that sends me 10 cent tournament tickets twice a year. ****.

hopefully some bugs get fixed and chat restored with the new software but wsop has some of the best rakeback in the industry. in the client go to My Profile > My Rewards

You're missing the circuit because they emailed you? I feel like you left out an important part of the story? Did they ban your account because of the negative feedback you gave them or something?

These WSOP bracelet events, will they actually mail you a bracelet if you win?

I think that is how it works.

I made a thread for updates/streamers/etc.

Also does anyone know how the WSOP rakeback rewards work? I made a new account recently and deposited the $1,000 and it said I would be matched $1,000 (I guess in some sort of rake back?) However I fired two bullets at the online braclet yesterday and lost both and don't appear to have any back. I got the same offer in my email of anoter $1,000 matched, but I assume it's in such a slow rake back format that it would only ever come into play with huge crushers who spin that 1k up to like 100k of tournament entries? Any insight would be appreciated!

Below is the info, you need 100 apps to get each $10 of the bonus back. If you paid $100 in Tournament rake, you should have got 200 apps and $20 cash back on you bonus.

WSOP.COM Nevada APPs are earned in the following manner:

In ring games, 2 APPs are awarded for every $1 in rake collected at the table. You'll receive APPs based on your contributed portion of the rake for each hand played. Fractional APPs are awarded in the hundredths.

In tournaments, you'll receive 2 APPs for each $1 in fees paid. Fractional APPs will be awarded in the hundredths.

Damn, what a totally stupid rakeback promotion. So amateurs like me will get $20 (maybe $30-$50 if I geet lucky) back for every $1,000 they spend, but only super good poker pros will be able to turn their $1,000 deposit into the $50,000+ buy ins to get an extra $1,000 from wsop.com on top of that crazy profit

Does anyone know if card catcher programs are legal and in line with WSOP.com's TOS? I know HUD's are prohibited, and that Multi-tabling software is allowed, but I'm not clear on whether or not card catchers are permitted. If they are, can anyone recommend one? To be clear the point is to record hands for database analysis later, not to develop a workaround to have a HUD up and running.

WSOP doesn't allow hand histories to be download so I do not think card catching with a 3rd party software is even possible. You can only review hands through their hand replayers.

Anybody have a fix for that "can't geolocate you" error? Last weekend I was getting it about 2-3 times an hour, but it never interfered with my MTTs or registering for the next one etc.

It’s def possible and there’s a 3rd party software publicly available that allows you to use HUD/database. It is against TOS.

Ok, I stand corrected. I wouldn't even risk installing that software tho. They can scan your PC for softwares that violate their TOS.

A few months ago WSOP sent me an e-mail threatening to ban me just for having WSOP software & Google remote desktop connection install on my out of NJ state desktop PC that I don't use to play on WSOP. I just use my desktop PC to deposit and to see the schedule details so I can plan my trip.

I just uninstalled it on my desktop and do everything WSOP related from my laptop just to be on the safe side.

Anybody have any better website than Poker Pro Labs to lookup player's results?
Do they still not count rebuys & addons?

Their search always freezes up on me so it's a pain in ass to use while playing.

Also; are they posting player's real name who cash this year again?

I can't find anything on WSOP website. Last year it use to come up on my Google news feed every week.

there's no better option because sharkscope opt's out the player pool by default. There's a site called playerscope.com but I think the PPL guys own this too--not really sure though. PPL doesn't include R+A's still and their servers are really unreliable and consistently down. I think if they improved their server situation they could easily gate keep the basic info on a player's main page with a subscription cost. Despite being inaccurate, it's incredibly valuable imo to at least get a feel for a player (avg bi, recent results etc).

Are you willing to out the name of the software? Think getting a lot of people to contact support at the same time would be effective in eliminating the cheaters.

Have anyone's TCs for last month shown up in their Caesars Rewards accounts yet? The longest I have had it take in the past is 5 days into the next month, but today makes day 9 and nothing yet.

Exclusive: 888 Eyes Online Poker Expansion into Three States in 2021
With Pennsylvania and Michigan launches imminent with its partner WSOP, West Virginia looks like the third state on the cards.

"WSOP.com, through its partnership with 888, is set to go live in Pennsylvania next week and in Michigan shortly thereafter.

The launches will mark the first time that US players will use the gaming company’s new Poker 8 software, which will power the WSOP PA and WSOP MI online poker rooms."

Sherman said 888 is “hoping that Pennsylvania and Michigan join the existing compact sometime in the near term. We’re looking to launch that five- or six-state interstate poker liquidity network that we all think will be a milestone in US gaming.”

“Between now and year’s end, we’re hoping to be in, I want to carefully say, three additional states,” he went on to say. “But being more ambitious than that, [we want] to get in as many states as possible, especially with Poker 8.”

With the imminent launch of the WSOP PA and WSOP MI poker rooms, it is safe to say that Michigan and Pennsylvania, coupled with Delaware, Nevada and New Jersey, would complete the “five-state compact” suggested by Sherman."

"A decision by Michigan, Pennsylvania or both states to join MSIGA would be a huge boost to the interstate 888/WSOP network, the only one of its kind operating in the US."

"Sherman said that once 888 moves its customers in Delaware, Nevada and New Jersey to the new Poker 8 software, “any state, whether it’s Connecticut or West Virginia, that already offers poker licenses…and will be looking to proactively promote [online poker], will have a ready-made liquidity pool [and a] regulatory framework.”
