Anybody else get a warning email from attempting to log in on the Android mobile app with a rooted device?
If they don't want players using their software with a rooted device, that's fine and their choice, but they should at least be up front about it when trying to log in, rather than giving a vague message saying something like "Software may be running on your device preventing the geolocation software from operating properly. Disable this software and try again"- yet then sending an email a week or two later saying they may close my account if I attempt to log in from my rooted device again.
FWIW, being rooted doesn't prevent geolocation from working properly. My banking, GPS apps, and everything else works just fine.

Dear ********,
To ensure we are meeting all regulations, we continually monitor for suspicious geo-location behavior. Recently there was potentially suspicious location activity on your WSOP.com account in which we have detected the use of a device, an Android, which has been identified as being rooted, which is prohibited. We also detected the use of blocked software, Root Hiding Apps, which is also prohibited.
We have made the decision to keep your account open on the condition that in the future you do not log-in and/or play on WSOP.com from any devices that have been rooted and/or using blocked software. For more information on rooted devices and why your phone is being identified as such we advise you to contact your mobile phone provider.
If it is detected that you are using a device with any of the above moving forward, we reserve the right to take action up to permanently closing your account. Should this happen you will not be permitted to create new accounts with any Caesars Interactive Entertainment, Inc. licensed brands.
Best,
Cherissa I.
