Sorry small rant incoming ...

I haven't been able to log in to the site for the last three days. It says that it cannot verify my location and to join the play money tables. I am connected to wifi in Las Vegas from the same computer I have used for the last two months without this issue. They told me that it is because I have a virtual machine installed on my computer. I told them that I did not have one of those and never have. They insisted that this was the problem and told me to remove it. I told them I can't remove something that doesn't exist. Tell me the name of the software. They couldn't provide me with a single detail. Their support is an absolute joke and it has been the most frustrating experience trying to deal with those people. I cannot believe that the World Series of Poker conducts their business in such a way. It is horrendous, and they do absolutely nothing. I have reached the highest level possible and play the highest cash games almost daily. I have paid thousands in rake and yet they treat me like a piece of ****. It has been so frustrating trying to resolve any issue (and there have been many) with these people. The hold times on the phone are 30 to 40 minutes and last night after holding for 45 minutes the person just hung up and didn't answer. Then I called back and the guy just disconnected the call after telling me to send in a screenshot of the error so he can escelate it. I told him that isn't necessary as I'm telling what the error message is. Just escalate it now but he refused and hung up. I did not yell or scream or swear. I don't know how these people have jobs. I don't understand how Caesar's just doesn't give a **** about their poker product. This is not a good way to get online poker legalized. The Nevada Gaming Control Board should also be ashamed of itself for allowing this kind of nonsense to happen.

Yes, I live in NV and I can concur. I have serious problems geolocating from my house and when it does work I get disconnected in tourneys. They are no better than the unregulated offshore sites.

If you have a hotspot-capable phone, try turning that on as well when you log in. The presence of an additional wifi network might get it to work.

Thanks for the suggestion but I think it was caused by them trying to keep me from playing. I was playing today when I was "disconnected" and then when I logged back in, there was a pop-up that my account has been suspended. I called them and asked what was going on and they said that a supervisor had suspended it manually but couldn't give me a reason why, couldn't give me a reason what it could be, couldn't give me a single detail. I was in the middle of two hands while they did it. I don't know if they will give me my money back or not. I have verified my ID, and uploaded all that they requested. Those documents were accepted and everything was fine. I don't understand how a regulated certified site can do things like this.

Their customer service is a rare breed. They really have no interest in helping you. They are not just the regular incompetent foreign workers. They are based in the US and they have an attitude about them of "we might help you if we feel like it" With covid they are just at home doing minimal work from home collecting their check. No one steps up to solve problems and they seem to enjoy being not helpful. I agree that it is amazing that such a big brand would operate in such an awful way. Whoever is the head of customer service needs a complete rehaul of the culture and training.

How bad the site is set up is a whole other story. Right now 10 tables of .25-.5 (inexplicably the highest limit available) The players per flop percentage ranges from 13%-20% All nits and amazingly there is waiting lists on all of them. No one starts new tables because the rake eats up shorthanded tables. The amount of time given to act is an even worse problem. All these multi table nits getting a stupid amount of time to act making a bad game even worse. Tournaments are all geared to big bankrolls. No $5-$22 deepstacks freezeouts. Almost everything is unlimited rebuys and add ons. Even the jackpot tournaments are the dumbest I have ever seen. 5 minutes of play and then forced all in.

So yeah unless you are a higher stakes tournament player this site really is mediocre at best.

Document the hell out of everything. You can always file a complaint with the state. I am on the verge of doing the same in NJ. I have sent several emails to resolve a situation and now no one even bothers replying.

I have filed a complaint with the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Is that who you are referring to? How is .25/.50 the highest game going. There is almost always a $2/$5 and a bunch of $1/$2 and $.50/$1.00.

I agree about the site being geared towards MTT players with a big roll. I liked playing against bracelet winners and really good competition. So I am the opposite of a bum hunter lol.

You kind of have to be a sick degenerate like I am to even play on that site. To get money on the site is almost impossible. Then when you do, they just ban you without reason. I had tried for three days to get a deposit on the site and finally found a PayNearMe because everything else gets declined. When I talk to support they tell me to contact the third party and the third party says to contact WSOP. It's a joke. The people we want on the site is someone who downs a six pack on a friday night and decides to make a deposit of a couple hundred bucks and play poker for fun. No casual player like this would have ever spend hours or days trying to make a deposit. Part of it isn't their fault as I found out my bank (bank of america) does not allow any transactions with a gaming site. Even though it is legal. That's insane to me because these banks should not be able to tell me how I can spend my money. It's just ridiculous. WSOP.com could take small steps to make the process easier but they choose not to.

I should have clarified. I do not play 6 handed tables. The highest full ring they offer is .25-.5 Really a strange decision by them. I get it. They want more rake and they want to force you into what they want.

Yesterday morning is when they booted me and I got the popup about my account suspension. Today I still have not heard back after calling twice and emailing them. I have gotten responses back via email that are all the same. "as previously advised your account is under review by Management and we have not received a reason why your account was disabled."

I use Bank of America and when I called them about my card being declined, I have been told that they do not allow purchasing to be made on gambling sites. To use ACH it is always declined, paypal I don't have set up, and Friday I finally got a deposit after 6 hours of trying and I had to go the PayNearMe option at a 7-11. That took me three stores before a cashier would actually do it.

Yes that's been my experience as well, I usually play 500NL 6 max or 400NL HU, and the occasional 1000NL

Thanks for the info guys. It's good to get another perspective. I really don't understand this. I have never been treated so poorly from a company that I do business with and not to mention one where I am a frequent participant. I have reached Elite and I was 60% to Champions I think it's called. I have paid thousands in rake and anytime I speak to support I get a giant middle finger. I really enjoy playing on the site as the competition is really good and I like challenging myself against these people and getting better. Just wish it wasn't such an impossible process. I must be a sick degenerate to keep putting up with this. But there's only so much a person can do and I don't want to play live and play in a plastic cubicle and wear a mask. I like chilling in my office with my dog on my lap playing on my tv. WSOP is my favorite place to play. I play on Blackchip Poker too but prefer WSOP.

Is there a way to see this month’s needed Points to maintain Elite if you are already Elite? Currently the status tracker shows 15k+ to the next annual level

There should be an easier way, but the way I do it is let my points stack up all month then convert them at the end of the month. $750 rake paid x 25%= $188

I used to let my rakeback stack up for a couple weeks at a time, then one day the $ I had in there was gone when I logged in. Luckily I had recently converted it so there wasn't much $ in there, but I was obviously concerned that a glitch like this could easily happen again. I emailed them immediately and thankfully the rakeback $ was back in my account within a day (before they even responded to my email, lol), but I decided then to just convert it into my bankroll right after every session.

There's a list of the events here: https://www.wsop.com/promotions/marc...rcuit-2021/nv/

Generally speaking, all of their series are pretty much copy/paste jobs from what they did the time before. If you ever can't find the schedule, it's pretty safe to assume it will be nearly identical to the last one they held. WSOP.com isn't big on change or innovation.

I recently visited NV and tried to reactivate my account. Took them 24h to send me an unresponsive response to email seeking a password reset. Then they sent me a survey about how helpful their rep was.

After reading the above posts, why bother.

if there is another site you can play on legally in Nevada, I am not aware of it. Hence them not giving a f**k about customer service since there is no where else for players to go.
