If anyone playing NL50-200 want to chat and do some video reviews please shoot me a PM.

I just moved back to NJ a few months ago, doing pretty well but always down to plug some leaks!!

How do you customize bet/raise amounts?

Is it easy to get account running if I’m in Vegas on vacation and don’t have an wsop.com account now? Like can I just create the account from ny, deposit at a casino in Vegas, and be up and running when I’m physically in Vegas? Just want to make sure it’s not difficult to get an account.

I'm likely going to email them asking this question, but the poker sites' support agents can be pretty clueless, so asking here first:

I made Champion's Club last year. I have noticed that I still have it in 2021, which is nice. However, let's say I didn't play poker at all this year. How quickly would I lose it and be reset to a lower rank? That is--what are the exact rules governing how much rake I need to pay to maintain it?

(e.g. on ACR, I need to maintain ~7500 RP monthly, but as long as I do so, I keep my General status from last year)

01/01/22 you would be set to "elite" which requires 1500/month to maintain. If you don't get the 1500 in jan, you'll be reset to the lowest tier in feb

Yep pretty annoying. Sometimes if I X out the table and rejoin I find I can sit. Sometimes it works sometimes not.

The other reoccurring glitch I've noticed is that the hand re-player button won't work on some tables.

Any help on this? I just want to confirm I can show up in vegas, deposit some money (I can stop at the cage and drop off money need be but would obviously rather deposit with a CC) and be good to go? I download the client at home (in NY) and just want to make sure I can go to vegas, get some money on wsop, and play some of the circuit events over the next 2-3 weeks? Thanks for help?

Also just want to comment, yikes on the structures. Is WSOP just a big money grab? I feel the sunday big mtts on ACR ($109-250k, $215 sunday major, 55 big gtn) have better structures than a prestigous WSOP circut event? WSOP, get your head out of your ass and provide the online crushers a solid structure. I also don't like you can rebuy 3-5x times. I'm fine with 1-2 rebuys if need be but come on, just lower the guarantee and allow for less bullets. Its nice that people with money can fire like maniacs + the real bosses can fire at will. I don't want to play mtts where people like daniel negreanue, foxen, etc etc can buy in 4-5 times. That really hurts the rec and above. I'm sure I will be bashed here but not a fan of these crazy multi entries.

I will give props to WSOP though that they don't have super insane late reg times. ACR could take a lesson from WSOP and not have a comical 5 hour late reg period for mtts that have guarantees that they might not hit without the late reg. Also finally, I just feel that really solid structures should exist for these mtts. I'm not asking for them to be all day but like even the BOSS $600 mtts on ACR have insane structures. I feel these MTTS can have better structures than the live counterparts (wsop circuit events) and not take 2 days to complete.

Its very odd for a WSOP circuit event to last 5 hrs 54 min. The $500 75k they had last night went that long. I feel a $500 mtt that is part of a special series of events should have a dope structure compared to your average $10-50 online donkamant.

Why don't you call WSOP to know for sure? Can you d/l the client and sign up from NY? If you can then do it and you are ready to deposit when you get to Nevada. If you can't then d/l and sign up when you get to Nevada and then deposit.

So WSOP.com is running an online circuit event every month for 2021. But they tied alot of the monthly events to specific Caesars Resort properties. For instance February is the "Silver Legacy Circuit event", May is the "Caesars Atlantic City Circuit" etc. Does anyone know if there is any real significance to naming the circuit events after specific resorts? Are they hoping for possible live events at these resorts at some point in conjunction with the online circuit events, depending on Covid?

And you should still be able to play in the May 2021 WSOP.com online circuit event if you are in Nevada, even if the event is named the Caesars Atlantic City Circuit Event right?

"Entire WSOP Circuit 2021 Season Tour Moved Online
The World Series of Poker Circuit tour is quite popular with the US players. Every year, a series of WSOPC events take place at various live casinos across the country, with one or two events held online at WSOP.com.

However, due to the continued fallout from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, every stop on this year’s Circuit tour has been moved online. One event will take place each month at WSOP.com, catering to players in New Jersey and Nevada, where both online poker rooms share a common player pool.

A total of 13 WSOP Online Circuit Series have been scheduled throughout the year, with each Circuit series featuring at least 12 WSOP official gold ring events. Four special “Super Circuits” will feature 18 gold ring events including the January edition, with the expanded schedule including $1000 and $2000 high roller events and a $500 PLO tournament.

Some of the stops have been named in homage to their live counterparts. Additionally, the WSOP will be offering promotional room rates for players from outside of New Jersey and Nevada to stay onsite, including the “cash at the cage” buy-in and cash out option.

All combined, 180 gold rings will be awarded across 2021 with the first batch of 18 Circuit ring events starting today.

“Players deserve great tournaments and great value year-round, and that’s what we aim to do with the 2021 WSOP Online Circuit Series,” said Ty Stewart, WSOP Executive Director. “We’ve been thrilled with the big prize pools for WSOP.COM events in 2020, and we only expect to see that grow with this new model.”

Hey Punny, thank you--and so to maintain Champion for 2022, I assume the requirement is that I earn 20,000 APPs throughout this year? Not as relevant b/c I know I'll hit virtually any annually-based point goal, but just curious.

Hope you've been well btw

888 and Caesars Extend Partnership, New Poker 8 Software to Power WSOP.com

https://pokerfuse.com/news/industry/...er-8-software/

Am I reading correctly, we will be getting upgraded software and features in NV and NJ?

I thought 888 already provided the software.

I think 888's newest software is just called "Poker 8", which it seems like we'll be getting upgraded to at some point this year. It also sounds promising that they're trying to get up and running in PA and MI, although there's still some legal hurdles they need to clear.

If I'm not mistaken you can throw sh*t at people in the new poker 8 software which is exactly what we were missing hopefully they add casino because it would be nice to get some degen overflow instead of battling the same regs day in day out

Why would wsop ever do anything that's good for the players?

Anyone know why a players name will have different capitalization from time to time? For example sometimes it will show a player as "pokerplayer12" and sometimes "PoKeRPlayer12" or whatever. Is it a mobile vs. desktop thing?

I think it only works when u have $ invested in the pot. Some hotkey programs can handle this for you.

I think that happens when you get a disconnection to the table. It will cause no auto time bank and not allow you click on the review hands button on the table as well.

Try relaunching the table next time and see if that fixes it. That would fix it for me using the client on my laptop, but not for mobile play tho.
