ive had some sites in nj ask to verify the cards when i went to make a withdrawal (for far less) other sites never did. if you somehow have enough access to the card info and can access the account info from the cards website that should be enough . ( i know thats a stretch) they pretty much expect you not to withdraw right away and/or play a bit as to ensure its not some sort of money laundering or getting around cash advance fees.

their support (at least in nj) is horrible. if you reach a dead end then cintact the gaming division and file a complaint. they shouldnt be able to keep your money as long as you can verify your id. just explain the gift card aspect. also if you have any receipts from purchases with those cards with the last 4 digits showing that might help.

i withdraw from wsop.com every 2 weeks with no problem, but i use my checking account takes about 3 days.

It is probably a fraud check because u deposited and withdrew so fast. Relax they are just doing their j]obs. You will probably have to send copies of your drivers license to prove you are you and then they will release the funds.

Yeah this. I empathize with your feeling that it should be the same as walking into a poker room, however from their perspective it could be some sort of scam (stolen cards/canceled transaction after u cash out etc).

Exactly. Plus I would imagine that KYC/anti-money laundering regulations might also put some requirements on them. This seems extremely standard, and I doubt it would be different at any other online poker room.

I also have never had a problem withdrawing...I normally pick it up at the cage and on average it takes about 12 hours from request to approved...........

I have always withdrawled up at the cage and never have had a problem, two withdrawls a week usually ready within 3-15 hours.

ok guys I'm sure you all have seen the new $7.77 winner take all tournament..seriously second place gets a set of steak knives...lol and second place finishers will also be entered into a monthly free roll where the prize is a $100 gift card good towards the purchase of some steaks...

just curious what other players think of this tournament

they need to drop the $7.77 it's only been getting like 25 players a night

I like the "primetime KO" tournaments they been running this month even though the leader board prizes are lol...they need to add this in permanently

yea wouldn't never play in that winner take all tourney, like the primetime ko and with you inmate about adding them permanently... the triple crown promo I hit early and should receive the whole day back but they refuse for some reason to tell me the amount I will be getting, but they did tell me rebuys and add ons don't count only re entries... yea these promos suck and wsop support is the worst

Their customer service has always been horrible! I do like the KO tournaments, I hope they keep them going.

i have been playing all day, and i just got kicked off for location verification AND remote control software at the same time. i had three tournaments going and one of them a FT bubble with a 10bb stack.

eventually got on my phone and am able to one table but this is pretty annoying! there are two people sitting out at my table. makes me think this is a widespread problem. anyone else?

Yes, same here, these types of software issues are not good for online poker. WSOP.com kicked me off for having "Remote control software" running on my computers, I tried all three of my computers and it's the same with all. 3 tourney's going and I'm kicked off.

Refunds please.

got a email this afternoon-

Last night we experienced some issues with our geolocation services which resulted in some players being prevented from playing on the site. We have worked with the geolocation services provider to identify the cause of the problem and it has been resolved so players should be able to play again without any further issues.

We are currently reviewing our game systems in order to identify which players were impacted by this temporary outage and will be following up shortly with those players to refund any monies due to them.
