Theres a 50 dollar 2R1A with 20 seat gtd for the 100k. What makes 0 sense is the 100k is a 215 dollar buy in. So basically a 200 buy in for a 215 ticket.

Also unless they add a ton of other mtts that arent listed for sunday the schedules pretty terrible given everyone will be online. Every sunday since merger there were 3-4 50 dollar rebuys, 2 100 buy ins, the 320 100k (now its 215 100k), 2 main event 215 satellite and a lot of small stuff. I dont see any of the 50 dollar ones at all. They definitely are lacking in 20-100 buy ins on wsop since the merger. I hope they start to realize that. Also most of the tournaments start too late for NJ. Most of the big ones on wsop start 4-7pm in nv, which is just too late for a recreational player to play a tournament til 5am. The bulk of the mtts should be starting 1-3 pm NV time with 2 hours of late reg.

The 100k is a $215 today for the series. Looks like next week it goes back to $320 so the ticket should be good then. I thought it was weird that they were running sats to that.

Also agree on the weird satellites like the 2R1A. For a $215 I think $5 rebuy turbos and then a couple $10 rebuy super turbos is the way to go. At least they have a few decent last chance sats to the bracelet event.

Back when partypokerNj still cared (before pokerstarsNj came to town) they had the best sats.

Stuff like ;

Sunday 5$RA turbo with 20-30 seat guar to 215

Sunday 20$ freezeout 20+ seat guart to 215

And daily :
1$ RA turbo 10 seat guar to 20$

5$RA turbo 10 seat to 100$

5$ freezeout 10 seat guar to 50$

Would be nice to get those in the mix.

Yesterdays 20$RA 33 seat guar to 365 paid out like 80 tickets. I think the 2$ RA feeders into the 22$ ran daily and would pay out 5-7 22$ tix.

The first online bracelet event starts today, the $365 buy-in NLHE (WSOP Event #10), and there are four online championship series ring events as well starting at 5 pm EDT, with buy-ins ranging from $11-$215. There's also the $500 buy-in weekly Sunday mtt.

I agree with you that the schedule could use a few mid-stakes mtts starting before 4 pm on the East Coast.

These start times are totally ridiculous and unplayable for NJ players. I drove home to NJ looking forward to playing the bracelet event thinking it started at 3:30. It actually starts at 6:30 and with the amount of players will most likely run till like 9 am tomorrow. I have an interview at 10 so it's unplayable.

Wanna play something smaller? Well none of the good tournaments start till at least 6, so unless you're a full time pro and have nothing to wake up for on monday, you can't play anything worthwhile. I mean, even if you ARE a pro you have to demolish your sleep schedule to play these.

Is it really too much to ask the Nevada players to play a 12:30pm start time tournament? They really need to start at 3:30? How is that worth alienating a huge portion of the NJ pool?

Can we at least still have the old scheduled NJ tournaments (warrior opening strike, ultimate warrior etc) in addition to the new ones? The fields will still be larger than they were before the merge.

You realize how lacking this tourney schedule is when its 3:30 pm right now in vegas theres only the 10 dollar rebuy and the 100k worth playing. So its even worse for NJ guys. Makes no sense why there aren't 15 tourneys today between 30r-500.

Agree the online event should've started a little earlier, esp since the normal WSOP events start around 11am anyway. But you wouldn't even have been able to play it were it not for the merge...Also they probably scheduled it before the merge date was finalized?

I think they'd have been better off keeping the normal mtt schedules for each state and maybe merging the ones that kinda overlap. But they wanted to offer "bigger guarantees" at the expense of ruining the perfectly good schedules they had, apparently.

Whoever is running wsop.com needs to be fired because they are doing a truly awful job.

Some of the tournaments they do run are great, but there's just not nearly enough of them. I'd start today as early as 11 am NV time and play a full 12 hour schedule if it was worth it. As it is, I probably won't start until mid-evening, playing 3-6 tournaments. I want to play, but I don't want to 2 table all day long.

Does anyone remember if there was a box to check when buying in with tournament tickets? I won a ticket to the $365 bracelet event on sunday. When I registered, wsop.com deducted $365 cash instead of the ticket. I emailed support when I realized the mistake (about 5-10 minutes after registering) and of course have not yet gotten a response.

If they try to steal the $365 I'm done.

Yes, there was, but the default is set to cash. Default should absolutely be set to ticket. I hope you get refunded.

Not looking good, waited 45 hours to get the following response:

Quote:
"Thanks for contacting us; my name is Cadeem and I'll be helping you today.

Please note that the ticket has already expired on your account.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience in this matter."
This is not an adequate response. Sites should not aim to benefit from their ****ty software and support by freerolling off their customers' misclicks.

We noticed you have a $365 tournament ticket that can’t be used for any other WSOP.com events. As a courtesy we have broken down your tournament ticket into the following:

(1) $320 tournament ticket

(1) $30 tournament ticket

(1) $10 tournament ticket

(1) $5 tournament ticket

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience in this matter.

Best,

Cadeem M.
Better than nothing, I guess.

+1

Any random grinder could do a better job of running this site.

But I have no idea who would field complaints about him or be in a position to fire him.

The lack of meaningful customer interaction is a real problem.

I wrote to them about this but they didn't answer obv, so figured it out myself:
Your notes are stored in 'Documents' > 'WSOP.com' > 'whatever ur screenname is' > 'Notes'

You can copy this file and move it to the same spot in ur other computer. You'll have to keep copying back and forth if u want to keep them the same as they get bigger but....

Hope that helps.

I did it twice, both times restarting the poker program after and no notes were transferred.

So pleased to see they had to overlay almost $2000 in the Saturday warmup online championships event. Maybe eventually they'll figure out they need a tournament schedule that actually brings people to the site.

After playing small stake MTT's on wsop.com for one and a half months, I decided to quit, because:

1. There are only a handful daily MTT's under $20 to build a bankroll with, and they are all stretched out hours away from one another. In a daily deepstack, you need to play 4-5 hours just to get to the money bubble. That's too much waste of time for too little in return.

2. The satellites are routinely getting canceled, because players are turned off by the bad structures, unnecessarily long rebuy periods, and the fact that you are not allowed to unregister if you win a seat.

3. Although I'm up nearly $500 from May 1st, I seriously think the site might be rigged to dish out unreal numbers of bad beats against targeted players. This makes me uncomfortable to even consider jumping into the higher buy-in MTT's.

4. All the above might be intentionally planned to turn away solid grinders, and lure players to play Blast, which is a quick rake-earner for the site.

If no change is made soon, more players will find the site unplayable and leave for good.
