Is this the week folks lol? Also logged on, played some Omaha for a little bit, software was extremely laggy! Saw at that time, only Tuesday showdown was announced, nothing else after.

I think Wynn or Venetian would be very popular. Both well respected in town!

They added next week tourneys as well on the NV/ NJ. I have close to a dime on there. I’m withdrawing my money, I’m playing live more this year anyways. Waste of time and resources and just awful reporting on this. What a disaster

It's easy to cancel tournaments which start in a few days.

I'm sure it auto populates.

Still annoying that wsop can't just give us some info

MTTs out until the rest of this week now. Mostly likely not happening this week and can't imagine they would try it once the series starts. Maybe after the series I guess. Hopefully they add a bonus soon, cost me a few hundred this month in no bonus off this nonsense.

been auto populating week to week since this month started though so there seems to be some guidance to it.

Does anyone else using the WSOP.com NV app in windows know how to find any screen that shows how many APPs you have? I can't find it anywhere, and email support is completely useless. I do see a progress bar in the upper left when I play cash games, but I can't find it anywhere else and I primarily play MTTs.

Thanks in advance.

Maybe the progress bar feature stopped working. I would call the support phone number and ask how many APPs you earned this year.

You would think the people at pokerfuse would be going high and low for updated information. Crickets boy. I appreciate the hard work they put it and it’s always very informative, but this is 75% on them because WSOP has never once acknowledged a merger at the end of the day. Play lived last night and few players talked about it for a few moments and believe they jumped the gun on this. I hope not, really am rooting for them to be right about this

To be clear, what do you see as "on us"? I'm not sure how we "jumped the gun." Everything we've reported is factual. You don't have to trust us on anything. We literally shared live screenshots of private testing of the MI/NV/NJ network. We said that WSOP hopes to get approval soon, and we all know that (a) there was a circuit series online that has been postponed/canceled due to the delay, (b) there was a leaked promotion of this circuit series being part of shared liquidity, so WSOP had hoped this would happen in May (obv that was missed), (c) the bracelet series announcement has been held back by well over a month. You don't have to take any of this on faith or trust.

I think saying you guys are to blame is a bit harsh for what its worth. You guys did as much as you could once breaking the initial story that they were planning the merge and it's seems pretty clear they did intend to merge. So I think it was fair to write the initial story. Imo this is on WSOP for not doing any bonuses and switching around the tourny schedule like they are going to merge and then not doing it or saying anything.

5am please just sit this one out. Hood has given you more responses than anyone would expect and you still aren’t happy. It’s clear by your posts you are very inexperienced in this area, just wait and see you aren’t bringing any insight worthwhile.

Hi,

Thanks for logging in over 5 years to answer my question, much appreciated. So I read the response, and I appreciate the dialogue, but you showing a screenshot of the poker8 client doesn’t prove anything with all due respect. Also, how haven’t you guys jumped the gun? You guys had a timeframe/ timeline laid out. So more or less you got into the business of speculation along the way? I understand that and that’s perfectly fine, but was it for the intent of good reporting or clicks. I believe on twitter you average less than 400 views an article. Once you announced the WSOP that drove clicks drastically and since it’s tapered off significantly. With poker.org being the new kid on the block was it all in good faith, or views / clicks for this summer series? Basically everything you said was either speculation or a source that hasn’t given the best information. Thanks for logging on again in 5 years.

He literally admitted he hasn’t logged on in 5 years only to respond to someone criticizing what I feel is speculation. That’s fine you’re ok with that. Shill on my friend

I agree hood did way more than needed or expected and I appreciate him getting on here to respond to us, he had no obligation to do so.

According to Pokerfuse: https://pokerfuse.com/news/industry/...ng-new-jersey/
"none of this will affect WSOP or the three-state online poker network that it appears to be building across Michigan, Nevada, and New Jersey."

I believe the 888product leaving the market is what he is referring to since wsop NV/NJ uses old 88 software but it unclear if they mean that too or just the ones associated with the NJ 888 site which i didn't know existed. I can not imagine they would be crazy enough to try to switch mid series.

Them leaving NJ has been known for a couple of weeks now and there has been zero mention from all the poker news outlets that are eager to report on the NV/NJ software upgrade, merge with MI of that having anything to do with it.

That's a bit surprising, as we had thought the shutdown date would be June 3, so this is a couple of weeks later. Trying to get a clarification on that.

This shouldn't have any baring on the WSOP software upgrade/Michigan merger. We expect that to happen without 888 NJ, leaving them alone on the old software connected to a (now dormant, NJ-only and 888-only) network for its remaining few days.

The impact to the network will be negligible. 888 NJ generated less than $15k in revenue last month, compared to $622k on WSOP -- so its NJ network contribution was less than 2.5%. Its contribution to NJ online poker was around half a percent.

The 888 exit is because the parent company has divested all its interests in its consumer stuff in the US. It sold off all its remaining US interests to Hard Rock Digital last month (there was very little remaining; it was all in on Sports Illustrated, and that partnership has dissolved. All that really remains is a licenses in a few states, and 888poker/casino in NJ).
