The software they used(Can't remember the name), there was a thread discussing it and it seemed that based on the T+C it would be illegal, but then again you would think it would be legal if Doug and Daniel used it and put videos out with it. Or maybe they got special treatment, etc.

Ah I see. I guess my question was about where the rakeback percentage kicks in. I wasn't sure if it affected the percentage of the reward points conversion rates (turning rewards points into cash), or boosts the amount of reward points based on how much rake you pay. I guess it's the latter - at higher rakeback status tiers, you get more reward points. Is that right?

I just had my account permanently closed for "suspicious location activity", and was told to basically pound sand when I contacted customer support. This was the bizarre result of a geolocation issue that I myself called in about at least a dozen times.

Ever since I moved a few months ago, I have had issues geolocating on my desktop. I kept calling into customer support, bought new Wi-Fi cards, bought a new router, completely formatted my computer, had Cox come out, all of these things I've relayed to support and have informed them about. My laptop geolocates just fine, and I have played on it basically every day. I have also done 10+ cash at cage cash-outs, which is another pretty strong indicator I am actually in NV. I made Champion's club last year, and was already half way there this year.

I actually had called in yesterday requesting an update on the escalation, and was told it was on the final day of escalation, and I'd get an email today telling me when I could log in. Pretty funny, but also just wild to think not only did my account get banned over an issue I had brought to support myself, but to be completely stonewalled/ignored and have no other option aside from this post/social media to try to get in touch with someone.

They are usually vague about this type of promotions. From their Promo Page, it says:

To me it sounds like they'll deposit the money into your player's account on WSOP.com. You can't cash out right away. You'd have to wager up to that amount before you can cash out, similar to when you make your own deposit.

Historically, they usually deposit within 2-3 days after the promo ends (tonight). For a last promotion (Birthday Bonus) that I got, the bonus was deposit two days after the promo ends.
