I emailed support initially on Monday and still no response. I was able to get through to support via phone after two hour long attempts yesterday and the customer service rep was unsure as to why my account was being deactivated. He said that others are having this issue and they're working on fixing it. Tried creating a new account while on the phone and received the same result. Meanwhile, I have just under $1,000 in my account that I am entirely unable to access with seemingly no recourse. I asked what I could do to follow up, if I could get a direct line or email but was told to just try emailing support@wsop.com or calling again tomorrow.

Same exact issue from me. NJ site. I’ve had account since 2014. Pre registered , said it was successful . Try to log in , I get same “closed account “ error. I’ve called and emailed support since Monday and they just keep saying “it’s been escalated , wait for an email”
They actually had me retry making a new account on phone and it was instantly closed on their end.
Only thing I can think of, is there is something wrong with their verification system , because while making and account they ask 3 credit report-y questions “which address are you associated with? And 4 options… “which phone number have you ever had “ 4 options…
Problem was the 3rd question , I had to select the “none of the above” , because none of the answers were relevant. I’m thinking this may be the issue. However , it said my account was successfully created and even got a confirmation email saying to log in. Then if I try, it says account is closed.
