Everyone I've ever known that has cashed out from a main WPN skin (ACR,True,BCP,YA) has had to verify, which is how it should be. If you're speaking of Betcoin, Idk what to tell you, and wouldn't be shocked that they don't care that they allow nefarious things to go on because they don't verify your identity.

In fact, almost every poker site I've ever played on has made me immediately verify for my first cash out, though one did wait until my 2nd, larger cash out.

Betcoin does not verify any docs as it is a bitcoin only skin for MTTs.

But....I wasn't referring to that site. As I said before just because you don't know anyone doesn't mean it's like that for everyone. I cashed out 3 times on ACR before they asked for docs. Keep in mind this was ~1 1/2 years ago? It seems like they have gotten stricter fwiw.

Guys,

Hate to grunch but just a general question. From the point of time when a bitcoin withdrawal is requested, how long does it usually take to receive the funds?

Thanks

Anywhere from a few hours to a few days.

Average time seems to be about 24-48 hours

First time; long time.

Black Chip Skin bank check withdrawal requested on 01/30 received on 02/02 (shocked it came so quick) but quick question, for some reason the check is made as "pay to JP Morgan Bank" but then has my name on it. Should I be good to deposit this at my local bank? I have no account with JPM. Can anyone confirm their check was made out in the same way? Thanks

Update: went to my credit union today and was told this is a foreign exchangw check although it says USD. They said because the ABA was not "broken off" it would take 10 weeks to clear so obviously I said I'd take it to another bank and see. Has anyone had a similar experience? Any idea what's going on with that?

I will be visiting the bank tomorrow to show the evidence of my findings. Basically, there is a part at the top of the check that says: Pay to Blahblahblah bank in US / routing # xxxxxxxxx (9 digits). There is then a section that looks like any normal check that says, "Pay to the order of: My name and address." One would think that their bank would know how this works, but apparently they do not....

Hope this info might help others that may also have such great 'experts in banking' working at the places where they keep their money.
Similar issue happened at my bank today. Can you confirm the resolution?

Don't take foreign checks to credit unions. Go to a large, multi national bank, like maybe C***e, I've never had problems depositing checks there. Funds are usually available the next day if not immediately.

Thanks that's going to be my next step, I don't have an account so most likely going to open a new one. In the mean time I may consider asking for a stop on the check and taking the bitcoin route. Not sure if I want to open an account and same day deposit a foreign check haha.

Just an update on my cashout situation:

I requested a check 12/4/16 that I still have not received. I have been in contact with support who have assured me that my money is coming.

Today I again spoke to live chat. This time I was told that my check had been mailed on December 15th and that it usually takes at least 4 business weeks to arrive. I said that my check should have arrived by now, since more than 4 business weeks have passed, and he agreed. But, the live chat representative said that I can't even inquire about my funds until 8 business weeks have passed from the date that the check is mailed. When I asked for a supervisor I was told there aren't any unless I call in...

So apparently I have to give them 2 more weeks before I can even ask where the hell my money is. I've had a lot of issues with this site, but this is it for me. Ignition/live poker will have to do until we get regulation

Just curious if all this angst about a check is worth not having set up a bitcoin account?

I thought getting a check would be less of a hassle than setting up a bitcoin account and then getting my money off of it. I guess not. Doesn't really excuse the terrible customer service though

ROFL. This is absurd. It's stories like these that make me look back and wonder how it got to this point. What has our government done to poker?

Is this market really so mangled as to allow sites to sit on peoples' money and still not fear repercussions from competitors?

You act like this is the standard. WPN is ****, but they have never had issues paying anyone in the years I've been on the site. I'm guessing there is more to it than what he is posting, as WPN has never taken that long to pay checks out. I've had 2 checks both come in less than 4 days total since the start of the year..

For the guy saying he hasn't been paid, first step is to stop wasting time with live chat. 2nd step is to PM one of the WPN mods in the forum. Unless there is something you're not telling us, you'll be paid immediately. If this was a common thing don't you think this thread would be flooded with similar accounts?

I'm not saying this is standard or common, and I understand that maybe there's a good explanation for why I still don't have my money. I just think that it's pretty ridiculous that they won't even look into the issue for another 2 weeks, as if the check is somehow still on its way. Just wish they had competent support to resolve issues like this

This is my first time cashing out bitcoin since Circle stopped the process of buying and selling bitcoin. I used to send money to Blockchain, then to Circle, then to my bank account.

Now what method do most people use? I've already put the cash out money in Blockchain so what's the best next step?
