Hi Winning,

Thanks so much for your prompt reply!

The mods instructed me to ask you to PM me with your email address so that I can communicate with you that way. Would it be possible for you to do that? I apologize for asking you to go out of your way for a complete stranger. However, I would REALLY appreciate any help you are able to provide.

For reference, my user name on ACR is bj45.

Thanks so much, in advance, for all your help!

I can see that there is nothing bad here. It was a security measure because something was out the ordinary lets say (new device or something..). i will try and get them to call you!

They just called me and everything is good to go! Thank you SO MUCH for going well out of your way to make sure my case was taken care of! You are THE MAN.

For those that are interested, it turns out that I made a cash out request from my office computer, rather than my home computer where I normally play. This triggered a security inquiry and they had to do a deep dive to make sure someone else wasn't trying to access my account and withdraw the funds. Nothing nefarious on ACR's part whatsoever.

Hey Winning_TD. Appreciate you posting here despite all the abuse you get on here. However, I have to say, I have an issue with one of the sites policies.

Requiring your players to rake 10% of their deposit amounts to cashout is a really unfair, and greedy policy. I understand you need to cover costs on deposits, but as far as I can tell, there is no overhead for you on bitcoin deposits. If there is, I don't think you need to require the 10% for deposits over $100-$200.

It seems insane to me that someone depositing $10k would need to rake $1k to cashout, and an obvious money grab.

Is that fraud really? Did I sign something that says I cant? I believe it has something to do with a joint bank account if that really matters. Why you care? I have no idea....

What's wrong with sending from coinbase to ACR? why is that considered fraud? I don't even know how to open my own personal wallet. I tried once but it said I had to download like the whole blockchain or something and would take a couple months to download.

It's not fraud but you run a risk of having your coinbase account permanently closed. They do not allow users to transact with gambling associated sites.

While i like the faster pace, i think the Antes and the later levels need adjusted for a little longer play. It's a coinflip late, even if you have a 500k stack.

How tough are those $55 venom satellites to the $2k buy in sunday tourney? I qualified for it tonight, just wondering. Also, why wont they let you unregister and just play cash games with it instead?

The $50+5 is pretty much like poker. The $15 and under games have tons of push money stuff. By the time you get to the $50 most of the freedonks have been bounced and it's a more solid game, at least in my experience. My guess is they want to to fill out the Milly so making people play the steps vs shipping TBs to other games helps it.

Yeah, I know.

My problem with him is he tries to bs uninformed people here into believing something is actual being done about the botting issue when it's been a constant problem for years. If you're going to come here and post nonsense about how the security team is working hard then you deserve to get called out.

He shouldn't be answering game integrity questions because he's clearly not qualified to do so. They should have a representative from the "security department" of their company in here doing that instead. A representative who is very knowledgeable with that aspect of the network and who has an ability to affect change in that area would be substantially more beneficial to these forums than a tournament director. If he chooses to engage in those discussions then he needs to be prepared to accept the negative feedback his company deserves instead of crying about how nobody believes him and then running away from the conversation.

I agree with literally everything you said, but it's a total lose lose for him, regardless. He says nothing, ACR gets **** on and gains a reputation of being a ****ty site who doesn't care about it's players. He feels like it's truly different behind the scenes and for the most part, I honestly think he's being honest. So, he tries to speak up and advocate for the company to counteract all the negativity.

Overall, he literally can't win, so I really do take my hat off to him for trying to be of service to the community then ghosting us and never saying anything

There are YouTube videos on how to download personal wallets. And to Numbnutlow; you cared enough to post, I cared enough to read, and a question was raised in my mind. So like my pop once told me, "You wanna know something, you better ask somebody."

Looks like the stakes PLO and PLO8 HU sngs are gone from the SNG lobby. There's currently nothing higher than $30. Is this permanent, Winning_TD?

For the time being yes. Anything turbo or hyper turbo wont be back at over $50.

I will let you know once this changes

Is not the issue with the faster venom on demands is that the rake is unchanged against the slower prior structures. If the rake was more in line with the hyper structure there would be no issue.

The on demands are meant to be quick ones. We freeroll roughly $12,000 a day into these. Saturday scheduled steps are the slower structure. We had so many complaints that players had to play for hours. The rake is setup this way for a reason. I mean i dont mind having slower on demands but i get complaints either way.

I didn't register a complaint on having to play for hours but it was a problem that could have been solved by simply issuing a ticket for the next step rather than auto enrolling you at the same time as everyone else so the next step triggered before you could do anything about it.

Was there an update to Jackpot Poker? Played a couple yesterday and it no longer took any of my table options (4 color deck, table color/card color, chat options). Went into Options and everything I had was check marked. Hit apply and still changed nothing.

Was also a little laggy yesterday as well. First table opened without popping up - only noticed it because the queue disappeared. Had to log out, and log back in again.

Can you explain why exactly this is happening? I play the higher limit o8 hu sngs often. And I'm sure FullFlush1 is pissed too.

I try to rejoin the table and it says I have to wait 30 min. So you're punishing people for taking a break. Half the time the table will die and ill try to rejoin the table to get it going again and I have to wait 30 minutes to start the table back up. So not only are you losing rake from the table dieing, you're now losing rake because I can't start the table back up for 30 min.
So now if you want to take a break you have to leave the table or risk getting timed out. So you lose your seat every time you have to take a break. Then rejoin the waiting list if the table hasn't died. The other day I was only one at the table and someone still pushed the timer on me. It makes no sense. Get rid of this damn timer. There is no benefit to it. only negatives.

counterpoint: the timer is the best thing ever

So I am playing Micro SNG's. (been playing online since the Glory Days. Very Proftably years ago...these days, well I only hang in the Micro's to pass the time. I have no thoughts of playing for high stakes these days because of all the shenanigans. I suspect many readers here similar background)

So I am up against these two BOTS. 'senseikum' & 'myravey'.
Both from Russia (which doesn't automatically make someone a BOT)
Both never play against each other.
STATS nearly identical in every way (all you WPN apologists who are about to say 280 hands is not History. Relax. They played identical ranges/situations. We got three & four handed over a few games and it made stats diverge a bit).

Normally I don't mind BOTS. But normally they are not on same Table & not playing into each other as well.

So my questions are:
1) Do I report?
Would WPN even care if I did. I think WPN wants the Rake from those two BOTS more then they want me to increase play or stakes.
Would it matter. These BOTS create new accounts all the time. They will just create a new account tomorrow and fire up the BOT.
2) Do I stop playing?
I love Playing Poker and I like Playing online.
Even swimming in the micro's though it's hard to stretch a hundred bucks long enough to get some entertainment value. (FYI I made money for years in golden age and the years right after Black Friday).

Also, Kinda juts sits really wrong with me also that I am losing real money to Cheats.
In 3 games I got three handed in two and four handed in another. Two third places and a Fourth Place. Of course the Two BOTS came in 1st & 2nd in all three games.

I tell myself it is good practice, but is it really?

What do you guys think? Is it still worth playing here?
I kinda like killing time and love poker, but odds so stacked against a regular player.

My additional two cents.

WPN could easily curb bots by making a patch that alters the appearance of the Cards, Chips, table layout. I believe most Bots still using the screen scrape technology. I would be so curious to see the immediate drop off in Traffic if WPN issued a global graphics change patch.

Since stopping Bots could easily be done, the fact that sites like WPN do not makes me think that other Shady stuff is not out of the realm of possibilities. I am not in the riggie camp by far, but if a blind eye is turned on bots what other shenanigans are possibilities.

I am going to continue to play just for entertainment value. Dropping a hundred bucks every few weeks or so. Waiting for day when the online community (ecosystem as some put it) gets better.

Regarding who is getting cheated. Well on micro level - I was cheated those games I played. Two third place finishes and a fourth against Two Bots who never played a hand against each other.
On a Macro level the community is cheated. I am not loading up and playing high stakes cash or buying into the high dollar guarantees, and I have not for years. I am sure many reading this are the same as me in this regard.

Now I'm glad I reported an SNG I played two summers ago. Aside from NLHE Jackpots, which I've played a bunch, I've played only maybe a dozen or so NLHE sngs. But one night I had a hankering so played a 6max and, lol, there was the most obvious bubble softplay. In a 6max, which is, uh, the same number of players as a JP.

Part of the message I sent:

Quote:
I was almost too lazy to even bother with this because it's the smallest SNG but I think it would suck for the regular players who play these to let stuff like this happen.

So fwiw, people do get it.

I thought about this thread because I sent you a PM earlier (really) about an important matter but an even impotanter matter has arisen. Please deactivate my DoomSwitch at your earliest convenience.
