Alright poker clif, im going to have to comment on this now. I seen you made many posts and i didn't want to make a negative comment to you because you seem to be a good guy but you are very clueless. I don't want to sound harsh at all but im going to have to make some comments based on all your posts. First off, you keep mentioning how you play full time online. First off, you tell others how you play on juicy stakes and not wpn because of the disconnection issues etc. No problem with that. The big issue is look at the tournaments on juicy stakes. Its basically 1 to 5 dollar tournaments with like im guessing 500 dollar max guarantee at the best? Most of those tournaments don't even get more than 50 players max. If someone played low stakes online tournaments full time, do you think they are 1-2 tabling 1 or 3 dollar tournaments? They are playing at least 5 and 10 dollar tournaments at least and heavy multitabling. You are playing 1 table. That is insane. No one could play tournament full time online playing 1 table at a time. You keep saying poker is your job. You are not making any money 1 tabling tournament. Even if you played a 109 dollar tournament daily and thats all you played, it would be impossible to make decent money. You have to play lot of tables or play high buyin tournaments.
I know you consider yourself a full time online poker player which would be true since that is what you do. The issue? You mention how you play a few hundred tournaments a year. You only play on juicy stakes. Based on your posts, im going to assume you play 1 or 2 tournaments a day as you mentioned if you bust in a tournament, then you play one later on. Do you see a problem with that? Your are basically a recreational player. Also you mentioned how you had like 50 dollar or something on juicy stakes poker and grinded it to like a few hundred for the year. The issue? Someone mentioned that your hourly rate is like 10 cents an hour or something since you say you play 40 hours a week. Also you mention how you had some nasty downswings or something when playing. Based on your posts, im guessing your worst downswing was down 50 dollars or something? I mean you are 1 tabling tournaments and playing 1 or 2 a day. If you were playing cash and bigger stakes, that is bit different.
Poker clif, you are not a professional player. Im going to be very honest with you. You are playing poker as a hobby and taking it way too far. I mean, 1 tabling tournaments all day is insane. Im guessing the most you ever played in a day is 3 tournaments max? Also if you want to get better or make money, you have to play at least on wpn since they have decent gtds at least. I know they have like 5.50 2k gtd and 11 dollar 3k and 7k gtds. Of course competition on wpn is much tougher than on juicy stakes. But whenever you keep posting about negative things about wpn... you really need to evaluate what you are saying. You even tell others to play on juicy stakes. You think someone who play 5-10 dollar tournaments or 20 dollar ones want to play a 1 or 3 dollar tournament with 20 players? Now if you are doing this for fun and giggles, no problem. But you should not keep telling people poker is your job. It is not. You are 1 tabling 1 or 3 dollar tournaments with 50 players or less. Nobody makes money that way.
