They do
not openly allow bots.

Can anyone that uses ACR please let me know what they think of it?
If you are relatively new to online poker and have been playing on Ig/Bo, then you will find America's Cardroom a more difficult place to play. Due o the high rewards/rakeback/rake races there is a lower fish:reg ratio. Also the fact that HUDs are used/allowed also contributes to more regs per table, on average, than Ig/Bo.
In effect, you will find the games more difficult. Your winrate will be lower (or your loss rate higher) in the games in terms of bb/100, ROI%, etc.
Now, on the plus side, depending on what stakes you play, the rake may be lower at ACR. Furthermore the addition of rakeback will further offset your losses on the table due to tougher games. In some cases it can be a net win for players, though for someone of a lower skill level like I presume you are, it may not be enough to make ACR a better choice from the standpoint of profitability.
Again, with all of that said, playing in tougher games can be good for you long-term. Assuming that you use the information from using a HUD and tracking database in these tougher games and increase your skill level overall.
