I have an autistic cousin that got put on a good program at an early age. He is really smart and would probably be excellent at poker if his mom allowed him to play. He also asks a million questions and struggles with normal socializing. I empathize because I do too. The funny thing is they have difficulty with empathy so he probably doesn't understand your frustration.
It isn't really the questions so much as the lack of any research or thought behind them. But you may be right about your diagnosis, which is one of the reasons I usually try to leave him be. I wouldn't put people on ignore regardless of modding - I figure I should be able to do that by scrolling by posts I don't want to read. I probably shouldn't have posted about this in the first place; apologies to the thread readers for my mini-derail.

To the best of my knowledge, no unregulated site that has completely shut down has ever returned funds to players. Full Tilt is kind of an exception, since PokerStars bought them years later and made refunds, but even then it was years later.

Although Phil has often said that knowing that player funds are safe is a reason to play on ACR, I don't recall them ever claiming that player funds are kept in separate accounts from other funds. And his credibility in general is dubious.

You probably don't want lots of poker players to see their funds disappear, but that is very likely to happen if your hopes are fulfilled.

I have no special insight into how close WPN is to shutting down, or whether they or their owners would make players whole despite having no incentive to do so. If forced to guess I'd say they've probably got quite a bit more life in them. There are no widespread reports of failed or stalled withdrawals.

You're good Bobo. I've just seen you and others post frustrations with him several times about the amount of questions and I've never seen him respond to them. I was just hoping to help you and others understand what might be the cause and by understanding possibly allow you and others to be less annoyed by it in the future. Obviously anybody else has the option to just put him on ignore.

Pretty sure some grey market sites shutdown and paid everyone pre-uigea. I can't think of them off the top of my head, but it was a different era.

Yes, getting a "Registration error!" window when trying to register. Just as well, running like crap.

WPN is owned by BETcris

I doubt they will shut down. They probably just want to avoid investing alot of $ into the site since they dont make much money off poker compared to casino/sports.

And lets stop saying they are losing "hundreds of thousands possibly millions" they have had a ton of overlays/promos + high rakeback possibilities. Their profit margins are small imo.

Not sure if you all noticed, but ACR doesn’t really respond here since 2+2 stopped advertising them. On the other hand, Cardschat does advertise them. ACR Rep responds on that forum. Just an FYI.

Well what are the saying over there? Is it against the rules to copy a post from there and paste it here?

No of course not. But given all the issues those players are playing with fire if they keep amounts of money on the site that would suck for them to lose.

Nice to see a new influx of folks on the Merge network. Gotta feel most of them are from WPN.

Does anyone here keep having the software freeze up due to playing a lot of tables? Everytime i hit say 12 or more tables, it would not only freeze, i would get the message waiting for client so i have to close it and then open it up again and log in every single time. I wonder how you guys who play 12 or more tables can even handle this if you even do? And before anyone says anything, my laptop is a quad core laptop.

Whats annoying is whenever this happens and i have to start up program again, every table is very small and tiled and i have to manually change the size of one table. Then click on view as and click on make every table same size. But when i do this, i have to wait a while until every table resizes. So any decisions i have, i would get auto folded if it takes too long.

I use holdem manager 2 and tabletamer. I assume almost everyone who uses any software for wpn is using tabletamer? Im curious if there is any other software or is that the one everyone uses.

Alternative to Table Tamer is Stack and Tile: http://stackandtile.com/sat/

A recurring theme for mass tabling players, at least insofar as I have witnessed, is issues with their tracking software not playing nice with the poker software. A deep uninstall of both, reboot, and reinstall can be helpful. Have seen SQL issues with database programs cause similar issues, in which case HM support would need to help you walk through cleaning that up.

Does anyone know when wpn will have their regularly scheduled mtt to run again? Also it is true that million dollar tournament is no more anymore as someone mentioned this?

At first I was kinda pissed that in order to play MTT's, I would have to play on Carbon or Ignition. Realized I had about a $105 on Carbon I had almost forgot about and proceeded to get runner up 2 sundays in a row in their 12K gtd amongst other mtt scores for almost 5K haha. But their weak MTT schedule could use a boost.

@Pauly
Use WPN Tools for resizing tables+ a lot of other features
In Holdem manager, go to HUD setting's General tab and disable notecady and see how that works.

Tabletamer is superior imo. What's happening most likely is that you're closing a table that tabletamer is auto closing. When this happens at the wrong time the client becomes unresponsive but if you wait about ~60 seconds it comes back weirdly. If you report that bug in their forum on 2+2 they will investigate it.
