I was just being realistic. Probably should have set the odds at 1-3.

I was in a $10 sit n go at ACR (around noonish) where from the beginning everyone kept getting timed out because they could do nothing. At the first of each new hand people could do things, but then that ability stopped. Others were posting for ten minutes to ACR: please stop the game! Then I flopped a straight and I could do nothing. I was unable to get back in the game because connection was lost. This was clearly because of ACR error. Eventually a pop up appeared showing it had played to conclusion and someone else had won and I finished 5th. Will I be able to get a refund?

Few questions about all these disconnections and freezing


1. What happens if you are registered for tournaments that start soon or a bit later and then this happens? Do they automatically unreg you or you have to make sure you unreg? Because wouldnt that mean you have to make sure you are on the computer the entire time just to make sure you unreg? Because surely some players cant log in and then they are regged for tournaments. I wonder how many players lose buyins because they couldnt unreg?


2. So when you play a tournament and the tournament has not hit the money, that means everyone gets their buyin back regardless if they bust out early or if they have a huge chip stack? So someone playing those tournaments with like 5 hour late reg could play 6 hours and big stack and then this happens, they get refund? So the players that already busted out, they get refund back too?


3. I read that in tournaments if you are ITM, then you get the icm value of your stack correct? What happens in sngs then? Say you are playing a 9 max or 6 max sng. So if you are down to 5 players or 3 players and not in the money and this happens, then every player get a refund regardless? Now what happens if you are in the money such as 3 player left in a 9 player sng or 2 player left in a 6 player sng? You get the icm value? What happens if its a heads up sng? So someone with a 2900 stack vs a 100 stack and this happens, both players get refunds?

Anyone still believe it’s a DDOS attack? I’m not sure what happened with that update last Tuesday, but it seems to have ****ed everything up.

I can log in and see people playing on tables but can't reg/sit down.

If this was a software hack alone from a new update then why not roll back the update?

Clearly this is something a hacker could get to at any point and probably could have forever. The people working for this company aren't very bright and the internal decisions have been sketchy for years it's just that many people decided to look the other way.

They probably forgot to back everything up before the update.

They (Merge) banned or table restricted the TOP winning players. Like the top 1% is my guess. There are still some top end regs supplementing their play on other sites on Carbon (Merge).

Anyone else on pokerhost not able to get in? WPN,TRUE,BCP all logged in when i tried and looked like games were running smooth. Pokerhost chat support was clueless.

client seems to be running (ACR) but some lags

could someone please try to help me understand this, explain it like i'm five:


i have a folder on my computer titled "XML"
i have never seen this folder before and have no idea where it came from. i clicked it to open and see what's inside. i'm prompted with the following message that has left me feeling a bit disconcerted and hoping someone better versed can clear this up for me:

is this like a standard thing? anyone else has this? know wtf any of this technical jargon means? like why would there be a folder i can't access that is used to access something else inside my hand history folder, and it says the pathway may have been moved or deleted. but i can't delete this folder.



anyways. yeah. prob just me being paranoid. but this file and folder seems wierd and i've been playing on acr since july 2013 and never seen anything like this. have had 4 different laptops in that time and never seen this file folder on any of them.

the 'properties' tab is basically skeleton.
general tab:
type of file - file folder.
description - XML. (idk wtf this is or means btw)
says the location is in my hand history folder. 0 bytes.
sharing tab:
empty. lists the file as being shared. blank network path.
security tab:

i'm obviously not an IT professional or even that proficient. this might be absurdly standard for hand history tracking or some biproduct of using poker tracker like the postgres server thing for real time hand history / hud population but yeah. idk and curious if anyone might know

still cant log in on BCP, haven't been able to get in once since this all started.
