EXACTLY...

I'm one of those players...they put $50 in my account. I got it up to $500...so far. That and the OSS has created an influx of players who don't normally play on the site.

This is the only experience I've had at any time. Never had an issue with actual gameplay ever, not once. The lobby has the weird reconnecting thing at the top, but doesn't seem to cause issues that actually matter. I don't play tournys though, only cash.

Cash games, for the most part, seem to be smooth from what I've seen...but I'm not a good source as I refuse to deposit money on this Busch League website and will only play on it if they pay me to in the form of promotions.

I haven't played on ACR for long, but a couple people who have have mentioned in the thread that this is the first time they've experienced connection problems with ACR.
...More than likely, the site is just overheating due to their $1M GTD satellites. (At least that was my explanation for why the servers struggled on Sunday. Not sure what to come up for on Monday though...)
Regardless, this isn't the best place for your conspiracies.

You posted this at 1:16 PM (eastern time). Assuming you were playing around that time, that would make sense that you didn't have any problems.

I also played cash games yesterday afternoon without any problems. I struggled to log on last night (as traffic increased, presumably).

I didn't mean that I was playing a cash game at that moment...just that cash games seem to run smoothly the majority of the time I've played in them...at least...more smoothly than the issues with the tournaments in recent days.

Come on guys...

The connection is breaking down AGAIN. I don't even feel comfortable buying into tonight's events. It's 4:00 pm and people aren't even home from work, yet. If it's a bad now...

has ACR mentioned what the problem is or when it will be fixed?

Question regarding rakeback. Can I still get it if I signed up w/o using the bonus code? This same thing happened to me when I played Pokerstars and they let me so I am curious if ACR does the same thing?

just logged in to acr and got an update and Norton antivirus deleted the acr exe and I cant run acr. Norton says it contains a Trojan virus. Have been playing on the site for over a year and never had a problem. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes, I have just had this problem as well. I'm hoping it's just a fluke but I don't know. It was with norton for me too.

I didn't even bother playing last night....I saw cash games freezing for me around 4:00 and knew the nightly tournaments would be hopeless. Glad I didn't buy in and waste time dealing with that...

Well, that settles it then...the site is under attack...

Maybe...land based casinos are getting worried about online poker picking up again and taking players out of their poker rooms, perhaps? Hmmm....

I played for first time on this site Sunday for the 100k 215.00 tournament. I didn't cash but had technical problems like everyone. I got an email today stating they apologize for inconvenience and refunded me the buy in 215.

Pretty cool I thought. Anyone else see same thing?

Yea, they're good about refunding the buy ins when it freezes. It happened again on Monday. I was refunded instantly for both tournies that froze.

I posted on here a couple years ago that they should shut everything down and devote 100% of their time to fixing all of the technical problems bofore they ran another promotion. At the time there were issues such as timing errors so bad that 10-minute blind levels were starting new hands at 11:30. I timed a SNG with a stopwatch and gave them the starting time, tournament number and all of the other particulars. They didn't check it out, or tell me why I was wrong. They just said that what I was telling them was "impossible."

As soon as I saw the the million dollar promotion I knew they were walking into a potential public relations nightmare. I have moved almost all of my play to live. I'm not sure why, but I still play a Big Ten tournament on here about once a month, and hope that it won't go down after two or three hours. I guess I keep hoping they will get it right.
