I'm sure it's been mentioned multiple times already but just to add a +1, need more truly micro buy-in MTT's! I have several casual player friends that have tried your site, but they are small depositors (i.e. $100 or less at a time). Give these players a chance to build rolls in tournaments! The cheapest options right now are $3c or the $5 with re-entries for first hour. For a guy with $75 in his bankroll, even these are irresponsible shots that present a very high risk of ruin, especially for casual players that are probably barely breakeven in the longterm. For the truly winning grinders, having more of these players winning moderate amounts in tournaments would only be good for your MTT economy.

CLIFFS: Add $1rebuys, $2rebuys, $2 and $3 re-entry for 1 hour tourneys please!

Might need to get latest version of Internet Explorer installed? For whatever reason ACR cashier always directs me to IE even though it isn't my default browser.

First, if you have a very old version of IE it can be the cause of malware, always upgrade to a recent version

Second, you can fix ACR Cashier directing you to IE, I think

Control Panel
Internet Options
Programs Tab
Internet Programs - Set Programs
Set Your Default Programs

On the left side of screen pick browser (ie Firefox). Then, it gives you option (1) Set This Program As Default -to open all file types and protocols it can open by default (2) Choose Defaults for this Program - choose which file types and protocols the selected program opens by default

I used the 'find player' function to search myself, but after I "find" myself, I can't double-click the tables to bring up the tables.

Also, the filtering on the cash tables can be improved.. I know there aren't many tables to begin with but it would make it a lot easier if you could filter limits/stack size/6-max etc..
More filters for tournaments would be good too. For example, I have never played a hyperturbo, and I could easily go a month without playing a turbo. It would be nice if I could filter those out.

I called ACR support and they were able to fix the issue by having me close out and and re-open cashier.

Thanks for the tips.

Does anyone else have a problem with the sound at the tables? There is no sound alert when it is my turn, and the table doesn't even come to the front of my screen, causing me to time out many times. If anyone could help that'd be great.

There is an option in the settings to have the tables jump to the top when it's your action. You probably have that turned off.

The lack of an audible alert is a really glaring issue, IMO. The tables do give sound alerts, but only if the table where it's your action is the top window. Well if I have the table as the top window, I don't need a sound alert. I can see what's going on in front of me.

There needs to be an alert for tables that are minimized, otherwise the whole alert thing is pointless.

the setting are located at any table that your on. So just go to any random table and then click the option tab which is located in the upper left hand corner of the table next to the view tab. I'm not sure where the option to have tables jump to the top is located however.

And I have every right to ask about the safety of my money.
I've been playing on ACR for a while now and I love the site and I talk highly about it. But I don't have much money on there and I would like to feel safe enough to put more on, especially with the upgrades and advertising they started. I know that nobody can tell me the feds won't bust them but from what I understand they can take procedures to make sure if they do get busted I'll still get my money eventually (ie pokerstars). That's all I'm really concerned with.
ACR owes the consumer a touch of reassurance IMO if they take the steps they are taking to bring in customers.
ACR has been ranked #1 for the last 12 months on PAS as the top room with the fastest withdrawals. If we had any intention of screwing the players or keeping the money, we would slow pay like other poker sites. We pride ourselves on having the fastest withdrawals and not stealing from our players. Your money is safe at ACR.

Also, sometimes the amount of people paid out is more then what is shown, but you have no idea until you see someone get busted with a $ sign next to their name.

That is a good point, they never really give you the true amount of the payout on the dropdown schedule, just the min payment + % over.
I mean, yeah, overall it is plain dumb and should be an easy fix as I have never seen a poker site not give the payouts and amounts before ACR, even since the first online site in the ancient 2000's
(I cant remember if Planet Poker had tournaments) pre 2000
This fix is coming soon! We apologize for the issue here.

On any active table, top left corner there is a button with two gear-type objects displayed on it. Use this to open the options menu. On the first tab "General" under the "Game Options" heading, the third checkbox down is "Auto switch between tables." Check that box to have tables pop up to the top when it is your action.

As if facing The Beast wasn't enough, now four cash game grinders will have to face the world.

In an online poker event unlike anything the game has seen, a quartet of greats will have their webcams flipped on as they compete against one another at the jackpot tables in an Americas Cardroom challenge known as "The Beast Live".

"The Beast Live is one of the most innovative things I've seen," said Dusty "Leatherass" Schmidt, a member of Americas Cardroom's Team Elite who will join fellow pro Matt "mbolt" Bolt and top ACR grinders GiFtoFGab and Johnwallin in the month-long poker saga. "Adding a live element to The Beast combines the best aspects of live and online poker."

Fans can watch the action unfold throughout September at www.BeastLive.com. Those with Americas Cardroom accounts can earn $50 by catching one of the grinders with his camera turned off.

The Beast is Americas Cardroom's groundbreaking progressive points race that revolutionizes how jackpots are awarded. It is funded entirely through players' shared contributions at jackpot tables. Instead of doing what most sites do – throw fees into one giant pot that rarely gets distributed – The Beast creates a new jackpot that pops every month.

Can someone PM me a way to get in touch with the debit card company?

Hello, I am a player with an account on ACR, but when I logged in tonight, the $3 that was in my account was missing, I havent even logged into my account in at least four months, and my last play might have been 6 months ago. I was wondering if a representative could tell me what happened to my funds? They were just taken out of my account, and I wasn't informed of it? is this some thing where I have been punished for not logging in for a certain amount of time? I am sorry, I have had a life; and I'm sorry if my $3 is not big enough of an account, and that I'm not rich enough to make a bigger deposit.

I want to know why my money is missing, and how I can get it back. It seems to have been taken from me with little reason. my account name is bostonlodraw and I was hoping to play some poker, pay some rake when I logged in tonight; guess not
