The Beast is really drastically cutting down on the profitability of the games. This place used to be as soft as Bodog...

Spoiler:
Ok, so there is no US-friendly site as soft a Bodog.

1 fish at the table is a good table...

I don't know what changed today, but I tried to log-in before the 6pm 50k satellite that I earned an entry to...and I could not log in. I would type in my username and password and then hitting enter or clicking log-in did nothing...The screen was not frozen, I could still type, but nothing happened when i clicked log-in or cancel or anything. This happened like 10 times in a row after closing the software. I re-installed the software again, and still the same thing. Then suddenly it worked once. Unfortunately I got blinded out of my satellite, which really was not cool.

Now I cannot get in again, same thing. Anyone else having issues? Any help would be appreciated...

<EDIT> I believe it has something to do with the expired or invalid certificate issues others have mentioned. I now occasionally get a windows menu that pops up when I try to log in...and then I went through some sort of certificate import wizard that seems to have temporarily worked...But I don't know if this will work each time, and don't want to have to go thru a crazy process each time I log in...I hope the site sorts out this issue soon.

This is actually one of the most popular methods, the card is opened with $25 (one time fee). You can then use it to make purchases at retail outlets, or withdraw cash at your leisure once its sent to you.
There’s also a Monthly Fee of $4.95. To apply for it, you can contact our Customer service team at support@americascardroom.eu and they will provide you with the steps.
Once you have it, it’s super convenient. Under normal circumstances, withdrawals are processed the day after they are requested, however all withdrawals are reviewed and may take up to 15 business days to process.

I called yesterday and was told the $25 gets put on card and you can use it. The post above from ACR rep says its a 1 time fee. Can someone give me the correct answer.
They take 25 out of your account and start charging you $5 a month to have the card. When you load the card, they charge you $2. You can put $2500 a week on the card. I put $1000 on it last week. Went into the bank, handed them the card, and told theim I wanted to do a $1,000 cash advance. The teller took it to the machine and I had 1k in a couple of minutes. The fee was $3. The card is the way to go. Last week, I hit cashout on Monday night, had the money on my card on Wednesday night, cash in hand on Thursday. Oh, my rakeback took a $25 or so hit, so every cashout has a cost, and the rakeback hit was the most expensive.

Ok lets try agian from my understanding the rep said the $25 is to load it and you can use the $25 on it anytime is that correct. I also understand its just like a pre paid card so why can't you use it at a atm?

Yes, the 25 is on your card - sort of.

When my card loaded for $25, it immediately became $23 after a $2 load fee. A few days later, I was hit with a $5 monthly fee. So, the $25 rapidly became $18. Then, there is a $5 monthly fee to keep the card active. If you check you balance at an ATM, that's a buck. There is a $35 chargeback fee, which is probably an overdraft of some sort. If you need a new card, $25. Use it to buy something at a store, $1.

I just considered the $25 gone when I got the card. That covered the first 4 months of having the card.

Oh, more fees that I have not encountered: Inactive fee, $10; Cancellation, $10.

Again, just write off the first $25.

Yes, you can use the card at an ATM, but you will have to pay even more fees. For me, it was $3 to card company and another $3 to my bank. All for $400. To get $1,000 off, I would have to make 3 trips to the ATM and pay $18 in fees. By doing a cash advance, it cost $3.

You didn't have any issue with the fact that there is no name on the card when trying to do a cash advance from the teller?

Didn't even think about no name on the card. You are right.

I've had the same bank for a decade. That must be why they took the card and ran it with no issues.

Now you have me worried. I feel like tilting and using all the names I read in the chat box.

How do you calculate how much rake back/ money your earning through your deposit bonus compared to the total amount of money your actually making by profiting on the tables. Do you just have to keep up that or is there any history of when rake back is deposited into your account each week?

Each Wednesday, rakeback is paid. On the rewards tab, you'll see "rake back" on the left border near the top. When I hit that, I see my rake back amount and the date it was paid for the last 3 weeks. If I want more details, I can get them under the "my account" tab, "transactions."

When you are earning a reload bonus, it reduces your rake back. Pretty sure dollar for dollar. During my last reload bonus, my rake back was crushed. But, bonus is paid all day long, so it is nice to get paid instantly. If you clear 5 or 10 or 50 in bonus, it's nicer to have it daily instead of weekly.

I did keep track of my bonus cleared on a daily basis. You can see that under the cashier button on the main lobby page. I had to write down each night how much I had cleared so far and compare that to the amount cleared the day before.

Under the "transactions" choice in "my account," you can see the results of every single table session. Personally, I write down my account balance at the end of every night, along with any bonus earned and/or rake back. The change in account balance not caused by rake back or bonus is the result of my poker decisions.

What can Combat Points be used for? I didn't see any SNG's and only maybe 1 MTT ($ + Combat Point Buyin) that you could use Combat Points to buy in with so what use do these have? Can I just switch to the VIP Program and cash them in? If they have no other use that's the only value I can see them having.

I'm not living in a fantasy land here, obviously tables are never going to be as juicy as they were in 2005. But the point is that The Beast has brought out the grinders in droves, and it is glaringly obvious. I don't know how anyone who remotely knows what's going on can deny such a drastic change has taken place. Maybe there hasn't been a huge change at 200NL+, but for 100NL or lower (where most of the traffic is anyway) it's like night and day.

If your still able to find international gift cards then I don't see why not. I cant seem to find any in my area though. When I contacted ACR about this they told me they did but they wouldn't tell me which ones worked.

ACR made good and credited me with the second tourney win. On another note, anyone notice that the hand history stops working and stops showing recent hands when you get deep into a tourney? Also just some feedback, I'm sure its already been mentioned, but can we please have a bigger timebank for tournies?

click the blind level tab and change it to all hands. When you open it later in the tourney it shows the earliest blind level

There is zero logical reasoning for this other then it being 2 diff people. When the account is playing higher it shows no kind of game selection. Right now there are like 15 full 2/4 and 1/2 games going and the account is sitting none of them. Come on, no one who is looking at this logically can actually believe that this is one person on this account.

1. Go on a nasty downswing and have your available balance greatly reduced.

2. Realize you get more points in the beast playing say four tables of 100NL instead of one table of 400NL.

If he's losing money consistently - as it seems he is - this may be a result of his ability to get money on the site.
