Hi,

I was trying to get some opinions on BCP, never played there and was considering depositing since their On-Demands and Higher GTD Mtts look good, but i ve seen a lot of issues with ACR/BCP in the past, disconnects, withdrawal problems, so wanted to get a better sense if possible.

Thanks

It's going to be the same as ACR. I've never had disconnect issues.

Back in the good days I used to love playing on Poker Stars, Party Poker, Full Tilt, Ultimate Bet and more.. then the blackness came and all online poker went away and I went away for a long time too... at least here in Texas.

So is it safe to play online poker for real cash here in Texas now? Fully legal or skirting some boundaries? Easy to cash out? Can I use Poker Tracker with these sites?

Suggestions appreciated for the best online poker choices here in Texas in 2021.

Thank you!

ps, bonus points for recommending your favorite live room to play poker in Texas too, again where everything is on the up and up.

Can someone summarize what my options are for online poker here in Texas in 2021?

I've been playing a little on AmericasCardroom but they only have .01/.02 games it seems, and I haven't tried to cash out yet.

I understand things are easier in some other states... but I ain't moving. Is it possible to setup a "residence" somehow for poker purposes in another state, and a bank account too I supposed. I'm not sure what the online sites are looking for in other states to comply with their state laws.

I asked an old coworker who lives in Pennsylvania if he could create an account on Poker Stars and setup a computer that I could RDP to.. but he wasn't interested.

All on the up and up of course for us Texas folks.

Cheers

It gets updated somewhat regularly. At the top of the post it says "first post updated Nov '19".

I live in Indiana and I play on Ignition Poker, Global Poker and America's Cardroom (ACR).

Check your cash game filters. You must be filtering out most of the games. ACR offers nl games up to $75/150. Regular 100bb nl cash games up to $25/50. They run pretty often.

As to the rest of your post: you don't need to move anywhere. You can play on the 3 abovementioned sites, and others, from Texas.

definitely don't do this

They have some ability to detect people playing via VPN or other things and if they catch you playing from a non-accepted location they'll take your funds and permaban you from their site.

It's totally not necessary. The 3 sites I mentioned are bigger and presumably just as soft as the sites that only allow players from PA, NJ, and a couple other states (don't remember).

Edit: the one thing you SHOULD do is get acquainted with cryptocurrency. Once you get it set-up it makes depositing and w/d'ing a breeze. Not QUITE as good as the Neteller old days, but it's easy and fast.

Thank you, you've been very helpful! I do need to -finally- get some sort of footing in cryptocurrency, will do that soon. That does sound like the way to go for online withdrawals from poker sites.

And thank you again, once I clicked off the Filter button, lmao all kinds of games showed up.

I'm good... ya'll take care.

I player regularly at BetOnline. I just noticed their update & I don't like it. I can't find which table to play from the rail, and there are also a lot less games now because of it.

Where is a good place to play PLO online where Online Poker hasn't been fully legalized yet?

Which place has the most traffic and allows poker tracking software, allows you to pick a good game by tracking tables from the rail and uses actual screen names for people?

Which site is best?

None right now. ACR has closed that loop hole. Get better vs unknowns, its how I swing.

Does anyone know how a US player would be able to play on stars ROW while traveling abroad in a country where Stars is legal? Is it feasible to set up with a 2-3 month window?

See https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...ght=pokerstars, for example. The first response gives the best advice to follow.

Is ACR still a good place to play PLO?

Can you use tracking software at the table?

Are there many tables going at once at $0.50/$1.00 and higher?

I'm just trying to get a feel if it would be a good idea to play on more than one site at the same time.

I'm thinking about switching over to Americas Cardroom to try it out.

Which is better?

The Loyalty Program or the 27% Rakeback???

It's based on your volume and rake paid

If I were to play about 35 hours per week 2 tabling $1/$2 PLO, which would be more profitable?

Loyalty or Rakeback?

I am coming from Betonline where I get neither, so I'm trying to get a general idea of which way would work best for me.

Does anyone have any information on when the legalization of online poker in Maryland will take place?

Are there options other than SWC for playing limit games/less popular variants/mixed games in the U.S., either private apps or public sites? I've at least seen people refer to playing private app mix during Covid, but I'm not clear on where they're playing. Thanks!

Kings and Crash has mixed games. We usually get a table going in our group mid/later afternoon California time. Sta Darden lowball mixes, dramaha mix, PLO kix, all the way up to an 18 game mix. Definitely more traffic than SWC for sure
