You can play on Seals with clubs.I use to play on Merge but I switch 4 month ago for SWC.
The bitcoin is confusing on the beginning but once you figure it out, it is easy.
The advantages: 2.5% rake for cash games and 5% rake for tourneys.
withdraw take a few hours so you can keep your bitcoins in yourwallet
on your computer and live on a site just what you need for the day.
cons; software,low traffic.

Are the games hard on there? I feel like anyone going through the trouble of buying bitcoins to play online poker would be at least somewhat above average.

Carbon is raping me on rake, can barely squeak out 5BB/hr at NL10. Is there anywhere with a better rake and/or rakeback affiliate with decent traffic during primetime hours? I don't care if the games are weak or soft, I just play braindead ABC while working (cushy job wooo) and am happy with that. I just now realized how bad carbon is as far as rake goes. Thanks for the input.

Cheapest site for rake is SealsWithClubs (2.5%). It's bitcoin so cashouts only take a few hours at most.

Intertops for best RB at your level. If you play higher then NL50 wouldn't play there just because lack of tables, but for micro's Intertops is fast paying cashouts, 36% Dealt (huge difference to contributed), and there bonus is fast paying out compared to such as merge's.

Not really,no HUD and a low traffic live out really good players because they make more money elsewhere. You can check it yourself. To open account you just need to create nickname and password. You do not need to give any personal info. There is usually free roll on Wednesday at 22 30.

Hi,
New to this site, and have been flipping through this long thread and am greatly appreciate the information I've found. Mainly an SNG player, have signed up with Bovada, however there is a 4-table limit for SNG's. I called about it months ago and was told by a rep that they would bring the suggestion (for a higher limit of tables) to the appropriate person's attention, but I didn't think anything of it. Is there any way around this? From reading, Bovada seems to be a good choice for SNG play, however 4 at a time is pretty difficult for me to wrap my head around. I am looking for as many turbo SNG's (9-10 players) that I can play at once. So, wanted to know if there were any recommendations, and if they include multi-siting, which other sites to include.
Thank you much

the 4 table limit is in place to keep casuals from having to deal with lots of multitable grinders. Bovada is geared towards casuals not grinders at all, hence no rb, 4 table max, anon, tables etc. They haven't changed it within the 5 years ago that I had asked also .

Sorry Binkee but you might as well get the idea of having more than 4 SNG's on Bovada out of your head, it's not going to happen. What NoChopNinja says above about them catering to casual/rec players is absolutely true. Make the most of the 4 tables you can get there and have another site open I guess. GL

It's not even close. #1 is Bovada and then you should also get an account on PokerHost (it's a skin on Merge, but unlike Carbon they will actually pay much quicker than 2 months). I wouldn't waste any time on Winning Poker Network sites, i.e. Black Chip Poker or America's Cardroom, not for SNG's. Bovada has anonymous tables and PokerHost lets you pick a screen name that can never be changed. GL

I was just able to make my final withdrawal on Lock so I'm looking for a new site. I browsed this forum and it seems for the stakes I play 20/50nl, intertops or bovada would be my best choice? I'm leaning more towards intertops as it seems to have the same structure as Lock as far as layout and RB are concerned. opening the lobby, I noticed a few players that i played with on Lock. Games are shared to a point I assume? The traffic seems to be the same as lock as far as cash games go which I'm fine with. Am I correct in my assumptions here or should I look more into Bovada?

I would continue looking at Bovada since their traffic is good and payout are quick and if you play any tournaments they also have a nice schedule. To play on Intertops (as of last summer) and if you are in the U.S. you now need an invitation to get on there--no new players can 'self sign up' there anymore (from the U.S.)

Would anyone be willing to share their thoughts or actions regarding paying taxes on winnings? I would appreciate it. Thanks

Record it as taxable income. Last I heard (years ago) the IRS wanted the year broken into daily balances (makes sense for live play). I'm sure there are threads if you search.

Hey 2p2,

I have not played online in quite some time. I am just curious as to what the most popular network for US players is at the moment. I logged onto ACR, LOCK and BOVADA and all their rooms seem to be pretty empty. For all the ****s out there I understand there is probably already a thread for this or whatever but if someone could take a second to answer my question and not troll me that would be nice. Thanks guys.

When you say anonymous that means people cant stalk you? I'm really not liking carbon..I understand variance but the variance I've seen on there is sick I had ak and pocket queens over three tables in a row.all got split by joke hands..then I heard racists remarks to other people..combined wit a two month payout and sng traffic either being set up for 300 chip crapshoot hyperw or DONs = not a good time

Anonymous meaning players don't have screen names, it just shows someone at a seat with a stack. No one will be able to follow you around when you move table to table.

Which site is better for an American player? I plan on playing micro cash and MTTs. Thanks for any input!
