False, the first check at Carbon takes 4-7 weeks usually, then 10-14days for subsequent checks in the queue. *company line is 6-8 weeks, they can't say any differently even if recent data reflects that*

Lock is garbage and if you simply open their support forum at 2+2 I'm positive you wont play there. The only skin on the Revolution Network for a US player worth playing is Intertops.

Best of US Market:

Software = Merge
Cashouts = Intertops or Winning Network (dcard)
Game Quality = Bovada

This, Seals With Clubs is by far the best option for US players now.

Traffic is a bit low and not often many games above $1-2NL, but good action, super low rake and insta-cashouts make it the best site around right now.

There is always live poker, Ive heard the games in Florida are great.

It really just comes down to Intertops or SwC for what we have left in US. The rest are just to many problems.

TYVM, I'll give them a look-see.

' There is always live poker, Ive heard the games in Florida are great. '

Problem with me doin that is, I'm past, way past casual dress sitting here. The casino down the street wouldn't let me in the door. And there's no intimidation from anyone in my front room..All I have to contend with is the bingo players...they're easy.

Intertops looked good, but they got the invite thing. Gotta love the Aussies, been true friends to the U.S. when we needed them.

Gonna go check out SwC now...

Thanks all, and see ya on the flip- side.

SwC is recovering from a DOS attack.............can't get there from here...too bad. Hope it works out for them. No idea how long they'll be down.

www . Seals With Clubs . eu

DDOS is over and everything is normal there now.

Traffic is a bit low during off peak hours but the rake and cashout speed are unbeatable.

Use coinbase to buy bitcoins to play on SWC. Its the future.

I already signed up at SwC,,,uh, that was the easy part.

Electronic / encrypted / Bitcoin Wallet...well, what do I say here? Total confusion, will that do?

I have a fairly decent grasp of the English language, but for whatever reason, it seems I suddenly have S-F-B's.

I had already been to the mt.gox site when I got the email from here, which led me to your post about coinbase. I'm there now, and it looks like I'm investing in the stock market. All I want to do is play a few hands of poker ..

Is there ( I know I should look ), a thread here that explains, in a manner that an ol country boy could comprehend, what all that convoluted print means at coinbase?

Thx....

merge or winning networks are both viable, as is intertops on revolution network. if you are not especially tech-savvy, or are just looking to put a few bucks on, i would go with either merge (carbon) or winning (black chip). yes sometimes people have issues on any site, but both of these sites have reasonable game selection and reliable cashouts, which are 2 of the main things we can hope for these days as USA players.

I would go with Americas Card Room over Black Chip. Both are on the same network, however, Americas Card Room seems to process payouts a lot quicker. I have requested 5 checks and it has never taken longer than 2 weeks to arrive. You receive one free check every month. Ive paid $60 for a check before and received that within 3 days.

Ive heard people experiencing longer payouts with Black Chip. I could be wrong though.

Also Americas Card Room use to be the old Doyles Room, in case anyone is confused where they came from.

I was, and am, looking for advice. Something to hide? Lighten up. I am under the impression this site was here for help/advice??

I belong to other forums and going after folks after their first post generally is frowned upon.

Making someone appear suspicious, at least in my case, makes me suspicious...motives?
Not even sure why I am still responding but you did not answer my question? What have you been doing for the last 2 years that this is suddenly a burning need to play online? You said you played a ton before that.

Also, what made you choose a PPA logo as your avatar? Did you just discover 2+2?

I am not trying to be a pain but there is a sticky that lists where you can and cannot get your action accepted in the US by state in this forum. There are threads for each room that talk about the ins and outs of each room (cashout/game quality etc).

Your posts look very fishy. What do you do for a living?

zero

Really? Are you a moderator or applying to be one?

"Your posts look very fishy. What do you do for a living?"

So, you get a lot of honest answers from folks on the internet, do you?

Who are you to be asking me anything? Are you attempting to validate your own credibility by playing forum cop?

I've used the same handle for years on the net. You want to know who I am? Look me up.

I'm retired. What I do, or used to do, is nothing for you be questioning me about. If I had to make an educated guess, I'd more than likely say you are either a juvenile or just past the juvenile stage, physically, anyway.

Why not take a break, or a Valium?

"I am not trying to be a pain"

Uh-huh.

I'm sure it's not me your trying to impress. So...why not PM the person your trying to get next to, and ask "how am I doing"?

What you have managed to accomplish is...I am now asking myself why I am being stalked by what is normally referred to as a Troll in other forums.

The other folks here who have who have responded, have done so with the same sense of comradely I would have expected as a new member, or...as I would have responded to someone, new or old, who was looking for advice.

But, like Bingo players, you know you have to deal with trolls. They're everywhere. Ya just have to have enough patience to get past them.

My Avatar? Really? It's a cause for concern?

Good grief.

" Not even sure why I am still responding but you did not answer my question? "

Duh..

Thanks a lot...I'll check them out too...
I could have done this long ago, but after Pokerstars shut the US down, I " assumed" that was the ninth inning.

Went back and read the above three times, doesn't appear suspicious. So I'll leave it as written.

I mean, I can't fault Raven's posts...I haven't played anywhere online since BF and I was a 24-table grinder on Stars.

I'll ask the question: Where can I play safely? I just injured myself and have some down time.

what rough games and stakes would you be considering playing? it's my opinion that merge network, intertops on the revolution network, and the winning network (bcp, etc) are the three reasonable options for USA players. which one is best for your situation will depend a bit on your info/answers imo

Winning Network (America's Room, Black Chip, True Poker), Bovada (Bodog), Revolution (via Intertops) or Merge Network (Carbon) are the only rooms I think are likely worth playing on for USA players.
