I'll save you the hassle: don't play on Lock until their cashout times improve. For now, find a way to play on Intertops.

New poster here, looking to post up on an internet poker site in the very near future. Looking for some feedback on which site would be best for me.

I am located in the US, Jersey to be exact. Looking for small stakes tournys, sit n' goes, and small stakes cash games. To give u an idea Im thinking my 1st deposit will be in the range of 2-3 hundo.

Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks,
Sweeper

How can people pretend that ACR is a good choice when their traffic is dismal?

Depends on what game(s) and stake(s) you are referring to. All the US networks have different strengths and weaknesses in traffic composition.

Juicy Stakes is a place for U.S. players to play but I've heard their cashouts are almost impossible to complete, or if you do complete a cashout there it takes 3-5 months. So what about the rest of the world's players on Juicy Stakes??? Do they have long cashout waits?

I wouldn't be asking about this, but my Cake funds were transferred to Juicy Stakes without my knowledge or consent a few months ago, and I don't really want to play with play money there any more if that's what it turns out to be. There must be others besides me that got their funds transferred to this unreputable site.

9k ppl on merge right now 10 30 eastern. This is how it I every night. Merge I miles beyond their competitors in terms of software. I have had 3 checks revived since December. Things have been good in that dept

They did just get rid of rakeback unfortunately but their VIP program is competitive. They also offer reload bonuses and an initial deposit bonus, you have to play to release the bonus in increments but deposit bonuses equate to almost 7% rakeback, and you still can take advantage of the VIP program. Check out promotions on merge here: http://www.aced.com/promotions/

Overall I think it is hands down the best site for US and A and it still has the most potential to get better

Do I have any options besides Lock Poker? I really like the software at ACR the best and liked Lock's the least so...

Thanks for the help.
I'm in MD myself. Unfortunately, most sites won't touch us because of our state's role in shutting down Bodog.com (which became Bovada); our options are Poker Player's Network, Revolution, or Seals with Clubs.

If you're a microstakes gamer who doesn't care about multitabling, I highly recommend Seals With Clubs.

Pros: Very soft games, decent action, fastest cashin/cashouts in the industry, uses bitcoins

Cons: Bad software, very little traffic comparatively, little to no action above equivalent of NL50, have to put a little bit of effort in to learn about bitcoins

Haven't heard much about PPN, but people seem to like Revolution if you're looking for non-microstakes. Seems to be the place to go if you're in MD.

So there are some good rooms to consider as an alternative to Juicy.
That's great news for Carbon and Bovada, thanks for that update...unfortunately, I had no choice but to be a Juicy player because I had a decent bankroll there when they booted me off Cake and transferred my funds to Juicy. Can anyone else chime in about Juicy for non-U.S. players?? Are they cashing you out within a decent time frame? At some point I'll be eligible to be trading in the marketplace forum, so it's my idea to eventually get a trade with a European player who wouldn't mind Juicy if I pay a vig which I'm going to be glad to do.

Skillbet, just play the free challenge to get your feet wet and invite friends to play. I've built up a decent bankroll with a modest deposit and a lot of freeroll challenges.

But the reason Im posting in this thread is to endorse www.sealswithclubs.eu

Everything up to 100NL (blinds are 25-50 seals chips) runs every night and there are people who will play you for higher stakes once you get to know the community a little. Its still pretty small, so most of the regs know each other. Ive seen 2000-4000 PLO8 and going HU before, which is $5-10.

Flash based software is great for up to 4 tables, no HUDs work with it so the grindernitbots avoid it, fastest cashouts ever, lowest rake ever (2.5%), good action during the afternoons/evening, and the site is growing everyday and bitcoins are also going up in value everyday (however, this is variable so be aware, it may come down off its $10->$25 mega heater soon). Also, you can play on your Android phone!

PM me if you need help getting started on SWC, I will ship you a few free chips and you can grind it up from there, and there are also true freerolls everyday so even if you go bust you can freeroll your way back in.

Highly recommended.
I've been playing free rolls on there since October and its alright. I do really like the community, most of the people there are great. Micon even gave me some chips one night to play in the 3AM smooth. I'll take some free chips anytime, name is -wiggles- (with the dashes). I just can't afford to invest in BTC right now.

As Bovada, Merge, PPN, Revolution & WPN won't take players from New Jersey maybe try Seals With Clubs, most of their traffic is micro stakes & small stakes oriented which sounds like what you are looking for. $200 would get you 8 BitCoins so you would be well rolled for 3/6 (a little over 13 max buy-ins) & just a little under rolled for 5/10 (8 max buy-ins). On Sundays they run what equates to a $50 buy-in MTT with a guaranteed prize pool of around $2400. The rake on cash games is also a very low 2.5%

Hello everyone, recently moved to the states and I am looking for a place to play. I don't ask for too much I think, all I want is a decently sized user base, quick check outs, preferably to a debit card, and that it can run on a mac.

I am also interested in what your answers may be if I didn't specify it was for mac, so I can use it on Windows on the rare occasion that I am on a Windows machine.

If it means anything, I am used to playing on Pokerstars, and I am located in south Florida.
