That's a big assumption that Dave will be able to operate opening in the US market... but yes, I'm sure he'll have a quality operation as always.

I know questions like this are asked constantly and yes, I've read through the threads about the various cardrooms. I'm just looking for some quick responses...

American player here and I'm planning on making a small deposit to play some micro ring/SnG but i'm not sure where or the best way to deposit. I'm planning on using America's Cardroom as my primary cardroom but since I'm only making a small deposit right now I don't want to do it there since I can't take advantage of the bonus and rakeback from there. I only have a MasterCard and want to play on either Bovada or BetOnline with this deposit. What do you guys think the best course of action is ?

Hey wiggles, I'm not sure if BOL has changed, but I've heard some pretty shady stuff about that site :/

I have too actually... I'm basically wondering if Bovada or Lock take MasterCard and maybe BetOnline

Search the Internet Poker forum... where this master thread is located. It will very likely dissuade you from playing there.

For that matter... read the Lock sponsored forum... same story

Yeah, I've been digging around since posting. *sigh* I lay in bed and pine for Pokerstars/FullTilt.

i'm still playing on ppn, poker's best kept secret. rounders row players have recently joined the network but traffic is still awful. but i will take a ppn $100 freeroll with 50 players over a merge $50 freeroll with 3500 players any day -- well actually only on sundays lol since it is just once a week.

I've been doing some research on the cash out threads and its seems like these two sites have the most positive feedback in terms of length of time to get monies out. Whether WU or debit card options. With cashing out being the biggest concern, then there's rakeback and game selection, do u guys have insight or experience in comparison with these two sites? Also, ill be playing 50-200 NL.
Thx in advance

No idea what you have been reading but Lock takes forever to get money off of and sells for like .75 or so on the dollar. If cashouts are your main concern, the answer is ACR and its not even close

If you want to get paid, you should play on ACR.

id go with acr from what I read lock payouts look like 4 months. acr pay outs look like 2-4 weeks.

Lock for cashout but ACR has the BBJ rake which will basically take off 4-5bb/100 off your profits. So pick your poison. Lock also has MUCH better rakeback deal and player pool. You will also get more hands per hour at lock because of the software.

ACR is the clear cut winner. Lock takes 4mnths to pay you. And when they have trouble paying non-americans then you know its a big issue.

If you don't care about HUDs and playing a ton of tables then I would suggest Bovada. I got my last cashout in less than 10 business days.

I signed up on Bovada a month ago and have been quite happy with SSNL.

I have not cashed yet.

They only take Visa so i used WU and had to do it in person. They covered cost.

I have no problem with the anonymous play as Im really not a fan of data mining my competition. Or the reverse having all you 2p2'rs data mining my simple style. At SSNL playing a pretty straight forward TAG game has been very beatable.

Right now, I am set up on Bovada but it is weird how the players are anonymous. The action is somewhat dead and it is not the easiest to cash out. Obviously, the glory days of stars and tilt are gone in this country for the foreseeable future but what is the best site we have available to us US players in terms of the action, software, rakeback and ease of cashing out for both cash games and tournaments? To my understanding, we just have Bovada, Lock and Carbon? Which of the the 3 are the best?

Anyone know of a U.S. site to play on. I mainly play omaha and hilo and mtt holdem. Sick of Bovada and the anon. players. Fed up with that site. Heard nightmares about Merge network and dont want to try that one. Heard good things about ACR but doesnt seem to have any good omaha games running plus no hilo. Maybe im just screwed and there isnt a site out there for me. Any recommendations on sites to play on would be appreciated. Preferably for an omaha player. Thanks in advance.
