If you live near a regulated site in the USA such as NJ, Nevada, PA, or Delaware and they have poker sites. I would play on those. I live in CT and traveled to a NJ rest area 50 miles away, and open a WSOP, Party Poker, and 888 accounts on my Laptop using wifi from my phone. I deposited with my debit card, no issues. I played 6 max cash for 2.5 hours. I then withdrew my money, again no issues. As long as you are physically in the state, you can deposit, play, and withdraw. When you experience this easy banking/transaction service you will then understand why its important NOT to play on UN Regulated sites.

Once the pandemic is under control, I hope the States who don't have online gaming will come together collectively to unite on this so they can help their local casino's generate income, create tax dollars, and safer option for consumers.

I feel Legal On line poker/gaming will be in a Majority of the USA states in the next 24 months.
ZERO chance. Here in California the tribes are a massive problem. Utah, Idaho and Washington are drawing stone dead on regulation too. Only way is a federal law.

Agreed. This would make the most sense to help casinos across the USA although it would be difficult to get this put into law. So many states are hitting hurdles trying to just get it up in running much less on a national level and even if they were to approve it it would take quite some time until something was up and running across the board.

How does WSOP stack up to the private apps like Poker Bros, etc?

Advantages for bros: Larger player pool, better MTTs, softer games at midstakes

Advantages for WSOP: You never have to worry about not getting paid out (not that I've had issues on bros with this, but some may have if the agent is a bad actor)

If you can find a good agent who is not insolvent or a scammer then bros is miles ahead

Ignition/Bovada is softer (due to anonymous tables and hud that is worthless when used), but it is still tough. Not as tough as ACR and Chico, because on Ignition, need to play as if in vacuum, optimal theory poker.

You can see by my join date I was pre black Friday as well, byt had some live action before joining online (and dropped a few buy ins along the way).

You will want to get some poker books, some by Peter Clarke are good. Watch some twitch streams, I recommend Peter Clarke on Pokerstars for 6 max Zoom, but I follow may channels.

You will need a database/hud, I recommend PT4, one time cost, but there are several options out there.

You will want some beginning GTO/Solver programs. I started with Simple GTO trainer, there are several packs free. The storage is still in the cloud, which is great. If you have more computing power, you can look into alternatives, but the core pack is $79. You can get CREV and GTO+ for $75 (my purchase price, these prices may have gone up). There are several videos out there on how to use, I like CREV for the exploitative tool.

You may want some training. From The Gound Up on Run it Once works, they have raised the price for their other packages. Upswings is also good, and I know some folks in the PG&C threads using it.

Read through some of these threads, pick some of your faves to subscribe to:

Also, check out NL Micro Cash Game Strategy and Poker Theory forums.

Lots to read, and some knowledgeable folks to help.

does anyone have any recent experience playing 50plo on ignition? Ive done most of my volume on ACR, which usually has 6+ tables of 100 plo going, but thats a little higher than what im comfortable with and would prefer to 4-6 table 50 plo. Unfortunately for whatever reason, 50 plo very rarely runs on ACR, especially in comparison to number of games going at 100. Is it possible to get 4 tables going throughout the day on ignition at 50 plo, or will it be a lot of waiting/playing hu tables?

Can someone explain to me the "bonuses" on ACR and ignition?
(I'm asking about the the "100% up to $1,000 initial deposit bonus" offer)
Does that mean if I initially deposit $1K, they will make it $2K? Or does it MAX at $1K? Additionally, I imagine there is some restriction as to how one can cash out this generous promotion! ;-)

Thanks!

For ACR, 100% of what you deposit, so if you deposit 1k you get 1k bonus. The bonus is earned just like rakeback is earned, and you unlock it in increments, no restriction on ACR.

For ignition, unless it specifically says poker bonus, its a casino bonus thats almost impossible to complete without lots of table games/ crazy rollover requirements (will need to read fine print for that). In addition to that bonus comes the fun of locked bunds lets say you redeem the bonus on deposit but have no intention of using it/playing table games. If by accident your bankroll on ignition dips into the "bonus funds" (lets say you deposit 1000 bucks and they give you the extra 1000 for a total of 2000 in your cashier, and then your roll ends up dipping to 999 dollars, any funds you earn will count as "funds earned with bonus" and you will be unable to cash out until you meet the table game requirements. So my advice is...

if you do acr, deposit and use the welcome bonus to earn as much as possible like you would through normal play.

if you want to play on ignition, dont bother with any bonuses AT ALL unless it specifically says you can clear it through poker play.

Hey-

so i have been playing MTT's since 2018 and more seriously in 2020 with a good amount of volume. (Disclaimer i do not play for a living). Poker is strictly an additional form of income for me. With that being said due to some life changes i do not have as much time for poker as i would like. However i do want to play and also continue to bring in some extra cash .

Im thinking of making the change over to cash and need some advice on where to start since i have never played this format online. Cash provides a more flexible schedule which i def need at the current moment

What is going to be the best option for a US grinder Ignition, ACR, Bet online? While i hear ignition is the softest they dont offer rake back and **** software.

Will rake-back matter that much?
Best stakes to start at?( keep in mind cash is new to me i will need to polish my post flop game heavily) I will post my MTT results this year down below and i will have a starting cash Bankroll of 3k.

2020 MTT results

https://gyazo.com/ff4588e9037aad23201b02ab83f14920

Or do you think making the switch to cash is just not ideal and MTTs when i have time will net more money

Thanks for any advice

Thanks for posting this! So PT4 would be for self evaluation and not for the HUD overlay, correct?

That is what I use it for, and study of population tendencies (which lately, seem to change about monthly).

Might have to look at the apps, and get an agent, such as KingClubPkr, BUT, its higher limit.

As for ignition, if Ms. Rock is not playing the same game types you do, then email and get permission. They will allow households, but you must as firt.

Then, probably open on Bovada. (Get permission from both).
