I have been on Bovada for years. I absolutely hate the anonymous play, but I have put up with it. Thinking of branching out to ACR. I'm mainly interested in MTTs. How does their MTT lineup compare to Bovada? How is it getting money on/off (not interested in figuring out bitcoin really)?

I am currently a resident of Florida. I am looking to play online poker with REAL MONEY. I understand that’s only legal in New Jersey but is there another way?
Offshore gambling sites? How legit are they?
Will I need a PC? Or will my mobile device be sufficient?
Information on buy/ins & Pay-outs
Will I need a bank or does online banking work?
What are some credible sites?
Please help I’m having poker withdrawals I would greatly appreciate any and all advice

First, visit here:

https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...-19-a-1238038/

Offshore is all that is available at the moment, if not in regulated state. The swat team will not come knocking down your door if you play in FL. Research this forum for different sites, read the threads for Ignition/Bovada, WPN, and the sub forums for Global (don't recommend) and Betonline/Chico.

I play on Ignition.

That's a lot of really big questions. You may get some answers here, but I would suggest looking through some of the site threads in this forum as well; doing some of your own research should help you out quite a bit.

Does pokertracker3 (PT3) work on any of the sites that allow USA players?

They offer the most MTTs and biggest GTDs of the US friendly sites.

Check out the deposit/withdrawal threads for sites to see what the current state of transaction times are.

Winning Poker Network Deposit / Withdrawal / General Cashier Thread (ACR, BCP, TP)

I highly recommend researching how to use Bitcoin/cryptocurrencies for transactions with poker sites. It's not hard to learn how to use and it's in your best interest to do so. Using crypto makes your transactions much quicker, your fees much smaller and sites often offer more bonuses for depositing with it.

Online poker is regulated in more States than just New Jersey. Regulated poker sites run in New Jersey, Nevada, Delaware and Pennsylvania. West Virginia has enacted the necessary laws, but it hasn't started granting any companies licenses to run online poker in their State yet.

I'm not sure what the different levels of "legit" are, but you can certainly deposit and get withdrawals from the off-shore gambling sites listed in this thread. Your funds should be considered pretty safe on them, especially the sites that have been in business for a long time now. You should be much more cautious if you choose to play at the agent club sites.

Most sites these days are mobile friendly.

Information about current transaction times can be found in the dedicated deposits and withdrawals threads for the sites.

I recommend using Bitcoin/cryptocurrencies for transactions, but you should be alright depositing with most bank-issued cards. If you have any issues with your cards then ask in the dedicated deposits and withdrawals threads for advice.

I'd consider the sites listed in the post linked below to be credible. It needs a little updating(It will be soon.), but most of the information is still correct.

I'm not sure if there's any support for PT3 at any of these sites anymore, I doubt it. You can get PT4 to work at most of these sites, except Global Poker.

Following in footsteps of great thread Where can US players play,

I wanted to ask and discuss another important question:

- Where can US-based players get best freerolls?

To clarify, imho best freerolls are the ones, which you can actually grow into usable bankrolls, without complementing with own money, and feasibly cash out...

I'm no expert on this, so hopefully others who know more will chime in, but I think you're going to find this to be a hurdle. Often sites will require you to deposit at some point before they'll allow you to cash out those freeroll winnings, and may also require a certain amount of real money play before you can.

FWIW, I play bovada, acr, and bol.

I like bovada the best.
Bol reminds me of full tilt software. I think games are better at bovada.
Acr is weird to me, I just dont like the software. But I still play.

I'm a former SNG grinder from before Black Friday and looking to take it up again. I prefer shorter games, and super/hyper turbos were my jam back then.

I live in Nevada so jumped on WSOP but the traffic and games are not that great. BLAST style is OK, but lots of regulars and even the top ones are -EV until they hit the 1-in-25,000 multipliers. With respect to Chico, Grand, Horizon, and SWC, do any of them have faster-style SNGs, whether it's something like BLAST (with a lower rake or better promos, hopefully) or super/hyper turbos?

Unsure where to go with this -

Am a "returning" online player. Was a lower limit bonus whore in the late 2000s, playing for tuition money. Am in MD and would like a beginners guide - safest money transfer options, sites, and sign up bonuses for players like me (1/2 and 2/4 limit) who live in MD. Thanks in advance -

Been thinking about "returning" as well. Although I have not picked a site yet it seems as though the ones with best traffic are Bovada and ACR. Did some digging around Global Poker but was not a big fan although it may be of interest to you.

Ignition or Bovada basically the same thing. I play them on my iPad and you can multi table you just can only see one at at time but it lets you trace the turn to act position and alerts you on you’re turn

Unfortunately, I would stay away from all unregulated sites. Listed below are some of the reasons.

1. Withdrawal and deposit issues.
2. Cash games are very difficult(WPN)
3. Sites are Un -regulated, so no ones is going to help you with your issues.

If you live near a regulated site in the USA such as NJ, Nevada, PA, or Delaware and they have poker sites. I would play on those. I live in CT and traveled to a NJ rest area 50 miles away, and open a WSOP, Party Poker, and 888 accounts on my Laptop using wifi from my phone. I deposited with my debit card, no issues. I played 6 max cash for 2.5 hours. I then withdrew my money, again no issues. As long as you are physically in the state, you can deposit, play, and withdraw. When you experience this easy banking/transaction service you will then understand why its important NOT to play on UN Regulated sites.

Once the pandemic is under control, I hope the States who don't have online gaming will come together collectively to unite on this so they can help their local casino's generate income, create tax dollars, and safer option for consumers.

I feel Legal On line poker/gaming will be in a Majority of the USA states in the next 24 months.

This post is false, simple as that.

Cashouts and deposits are basically flawless and under 24 hours to compete.

Number 2 and 3 are also false.

I would agree with sighsalot on ACR... it was good although not as soft as some other places like poker bro’s for example, deposit and payouts not an issue either and I played on MAC. FYI Poker bro’s is super soft right now, however like any of the unregulated sites you prob don’t want to keep significant money on them.

FWIW not a fan of global poker or kings club. Bovada is prob the safest place to play but can’t stand the anonymous tables (although that helps keep the fish safe and around longer).

Coinpoker is available in the US. Reliable site with quite some cashgames and mtt's running. Only disadvantage is that you have to deposit with crypto. But once you've dealt with that it's great. Rake is also at 2 % for cash games.

Hello,

Being stuck at home I've recently started playing online and I was wondering....

Are sites that offer anonymous tables really anonymous? The reason I ask is I noticed that Ignition offers anonymous tables (I'm currently playing at Bovada) but the home page for Holdem Manager says that it works on Ignition. Is there anywhere that does not allow HUD's or other software to be used by players?

Thanks for you help.

Sorry...

Im in Colorado USA. Currently on Bovavda, But getting tired of connection issues and slow customer service. Was thinking about opening an account on Ignition, but would really like to play without using trackers, HUDs etc.

Your options for anonymous poker are Bovada or Ignition on the same network or one of the agent app clubs that offers those types of tables. HUDs are available for each of those options, but the data it tracks on your opponents is limited to the time that anonymous player is at that current table. If the opponent left and returned the data would reset as if it was a brand new opponent.

Your only option for a site that has Terms & Conditions that prohibit HUDs and data tracking is Global Poker. This doesn't mean no players are using data tracking. It just means that any player caught using it will have their account banned or suspended.

For all of your other options as a US based player please read the first post and last few pages of the thread linked below.

Sounds like I just need to learn how to use a HUD.

I can assure you that you don't need a HUD to win at micro-low stakes on several sites and in soft games at higher stakes. I don't think learning how to use one is a bad idea though, especially for use on sites that allow them. It's a good learning tool and most online professionals use one these days on the sites where they're allowed.
