Bovada/Ignition has the most traffic. For more information about your options please read the post in the following link.

They do share a player pool and they make up the Horizon Poker Network.

Sorry for the uninformed question; I played online before Black Friday, and haven't touched it since. Looking to get back into it, but struggling to find a solid answer on whether it's legal in my state. I live in Indiana, and I've seen articles about the possibility of a misdemeanor if I play online at the state level, but I'm fine on the federal level? Little confused.

I don't know Indiana law, but I doubt it's illegal to play online poker there. It's probably just unregulated like it is with the majority of the states. I haven't heard of anybody getting in trouble for playing online poker in Indiana. I think you'll probably be fine if you deposit and play. I am not a lawyer and this is just my opinion.

I’m new to 2p2 so i didn't know where to post this question:
It’s very simple — are there any sites where I can play for real money, residing in the US (Illinois).
I was getting ready to deposit some money into Global Poker, but in the deposit “form” where it has the things like the “terms of agreement” it said something about how you couldn’t withdraw from within the United States. The way it was worded just seemed ambiguous to me so I didn’t wanna take the chance of being unable to get my money back. So I’m looking to see if anyone has been able to both deposit and withdraw without any problems.
Any help?
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply.
Ya, see I’m still a little confused. I’ve read stuff that said I could play on Global AND could not play on Global Poker.

I don’t play there. But from the looks of their subforum here on 2p2 (which gives them added legitimacy imo), there doesn’t seem to be much complaining about people not getting paid. I think your funds would be safe. To be extra extra sure, you could post in their subforum, as a previous poster had mentioned. Gl

If Americans couldn't play there, that would make it tough for Global, as that's their biggest target market AFAIK.

I'd suggest checking out this forum:

Poker Scout

7. Bovada/Ignition on the PaiWangLuo(Bodog) Poker Network
9. America's Cardroom, Black Chip, True Poker and PokerNuts on the Winning Poker Network
16. BetOnline and SportsBetting on the Chico Poker Network

Global Poker is not tracked for some reason, but they'd be in the top 4 of the US friendly sites.

Probably because of the sweeps model vs just deposit and cash out.

Question for the players who play on the US regulated state sites, like PokerStarsNJ and etc

Is there rakeback? If so, how much? If anyone can provide any info regarding a breakdown of all sites, that'd be great

I am looking for an online poker room. I used to play on bodog, then bovada, then igniton. but since it became anonymous and they cut out chat i quit those sites. Also the set ups were not realistic at all on the ignition site, last time I played i saw 5 full houses back to back and just got cracked for most of my money by runner runner. If they are going to take my money like that at least let me type how i feel, like a real poker room.

I live in cali.

But basically this thread is to know about cali online poker sites that let chat and not anonymous. and that use debit thanks.

Actually, you shouldn't be sure about any of them, since he didn't even tell us what state he's in - geographically or otherwise.

The word you are looking for is almost certainly "REGULATED" and not "LEGAL" because very few states make it illegal to play poker online. However, most states are not regulated and thus online poker exists in a gray area and that is how the offshore sites operate.

Thus, given my assumptions, I can say that AFAIK, there are ZERO regulated online poker sites in the state of PA at this time.

FYI, credit card acceptance rates are falling industry wide. This trend is not likely to reverse. You should future proof yourself by using cryptos like bitcoin.

Intertops traffic is virtually non existent. Other than that - It's always been on an amazing network. (Horizon now). It's also always been a shame that more US players haven't gotten into it. Best rakeback in the biz, great software, great promos/bonuses, and fantastic cashier/customer support. I and many others have echoed this numerous times over the last handful of years.

I'm looking to move on from Global since the quality of the high-limit PLO games has gone downhill. Looking for a US facing site that has:
- Good selection of PLO games. I'll play 1-2 up to 10-20
- A decent rakeback structure for a part time rec player (10 hours a week playing max)
- Preferably CC deposit, but if I need to figure out how to get a crypto account to move money around I'll do so

TIA

Only sites come to mind is Ignition and ACR - ACR more because they have tons of PLO bots. No rakeback with other sites. Download some clients, and see which you like better.
