This month is consistent with last month's report with a few ticks up or down. Last month's grades are in parenthesis. Here is the October US Online Poker Payment Processing Report.
Americas Cardroom/True Poker A+ (A-)
Americas Cardroom and True Poker, sister sites that anchor the Winning Poker Network, resolved most or all of their debit card issues. This helped them move back to an A+. Debit card withdrawals are received in 1-3 days. Many of these cashouts go out in 24 hours or less. Players must pay $25 to request a debit card. The card arrives in 1-2 weeks. There is a small fee for each time the card is used. Players may request $50-$2500 by debit card with a maximum of $10,000 per month.
Checks are available for amounts between $100 and $2995. These checks arrive in 1-2 weeks. Players may receive one free check every 30 days. Cash transfers are processed in 1-3 days, with many processed within 24 hours. The fees for cash transfers are as follows:
$100 - $299 Fee: $60
$300 - $499 Fee: $70
$500 - $749 Fee: $85
$750 - $999 Fee: $95
$1,000 - $1,500 Fee: $110
Intertops A- (A-)
Intertops no longer accepts new U.S. players. There are still many active U.S. players there so we continue to include them in the report. Intertops would receive a higher grade if they allowed players to receive one free cashout per month. The fees hold their grade back but their withdrawal speeds are as fast as U.S. players can expect from any room. Many players are happy to pay the fee if it means consistently fast withdrawals.
Checks have a $3000 max, carry a $50 fee, and are in delivered in a week or less. Intertops is the only U.S. facing site with quick bank wires. These take 2-3 weeks and have a limit of $2500. The wire fee is $50. Cash transfers are available to U.S. players too. They are processed in 1-3 days and carry the following fees:
$150-$500 Fee: $70
$501-$1000 Fee: $85
$1001-$2000 Fee: $180
Bovada B+ (B+)
Bovada has maintained respectable processing times for several months. Players may request a check for $200-$3000. Players receive one free check per month. Additional checks have a fee of $50. Bank wires are available but players are reporting cashout times of two months or more. I advise against using this method unless there is a need to move large amounts of cash. Cash transfers are also available to some players. They have the following limits and fees:
Money Transfer/WU
$100 - $200 Fee: $40
$201 - $500 Fee: $50
$501 - $1000 Fee: $80
$1001 - $2000 Fee: $150
Rapid Transfer/MG
$100 - $200 Fee: $20
$201 - $400 Fee: $30
$401 - $600 Fee: $45
$601 - $800 Fee: $60
Merge Gaming C- (C)
Carbon Poker left the Merge Gaming's cashier for an independent banking system last week. Sister sites Aced and PDC Poker will move to the same cashier system around December 1st. Black Chip Poker, RPM Poker, PokerView and most other Merge skins will remain on the standard Merge cashier. All players have checks available. Check deliveries arrive in 7-10 weeks and have a fee of $0-$20 depending on the player's VIP level. Some players have cash transfers available. Players may request up to $900 per transfer and up to $4000 per month. Each transfer costs $30. Unfortunately, cash transfers are only available to select players. Merge would receive a much higher grade if it were available to all players.
Lock Poker D+ (C-)
Several players have asked me what it would take for Lock Poker to get downgraded. I feel we are at that point. They are still a better option than network partner Juicy Stakes due to the availability of one free cash transfer per month. Those cash transfers are running 4-6 weeks right now though. Checks arrive in 2-3 months. This is worse than last month's 6-8 weeks. Their support issues are what ultimately earned them the downgrade. It is not time to panic, I just feel there are a lot of problems with the volume of requests Lock Poker receives as Revolution Gaming has exploded into the number one U.S. online poker network. High volume U.S. processing is extremely tough right now, especially when a site has grown like Lock Poker has over the past few months.
Cake Poker/Juicy Stakes D+ (D+)
U.S. players on Cake Poker moved to Juicy Stakes in September but these players are still waiting on checks from their Cake Poker days. Check times have been cut in half over the past three months. Players are now waiting 10-12 weeks, as opposed to nearly five months during the summer. Checks are delivered for free. I feel the outlook for Cake Poker/Juicy Stakes is positive, although they will need to knock about three weeks off their processing speed to get out of the D range.
Carbon Poker/Sports N/A
Carbon Poker moved their players to a new cashier a week ago. There have been no reported cashouts from the new cashier. There were some issues with this move and I want to see how they handle it. I have worked closely with Carbon Poker over the years trust that this move will be a positive change. There is not enough information to give them a fair grade at this time though. I should have a grade for them next month.
