What do you select for country when signing up with carbon as US is not an option?

Actually, it looks like they stopped accepting new US players 5/30/16, bummer.

Full Flush is your only other option, and it's Android-only.

Also if anyone has any good sites or personal experiences. Any and all input is appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

It has never happened.

**EDIT** In that state, or any other state in the United States of America.

Anyone still play on Bovada? I don't know if it's my computer or the site, but the software seems real slow.

Well, Bovada is the largest US-friendly online poker site. So I presume that people still play there.

In this forum, Internet Poker, there is a large Bovada thread. The title of it reads:

*** Unofficial Bodog/Bovada Thread *** [For lag-fixes see posts 34088 and 36179]

Thanks Kahn.
Ps, Are there any visa gift cards that work on bovada? I know they accept them, was unsure what ones would work internationally.

Any of the cards listed on the back of R e l o a d ì t packs will do what you need.

You will need to get a card activated in your name first, and try and use it around town for little things every now and then instead of just huge deposits to overseas merchants.

What technically constitutes your location? For example, if I currently live in NY but still maintain a residence in CA, am I technically still restricted on sites that do not allow NY membership? What if all of my legal information is in CA (bank accounts, driver's license, taxes, etc.)?

Merge is still listed on the first post as allowing US players. That just isn't the case. They do not list US in their list of countries and they sent me an email when I asked about it stating they are not accepting new US players though those already on are 'fine'. I think the first post should be changed. I suggested this before and I had a message asking for proof. I sent the email that I received from support, but that did not seem to get the job done.

They are accepting US players, but since they've stopped taking new US players for a while now, I guess it is time to note that, which I have. Thanks for the reminder.

It depends. Some sites will lean one way. Some sites will lean another. Some sites will have idiosyncrasies all unto themselves regarding your play.

My advice to you, to achieve the best possible results across the board, is to create your accounts using your California information, while you are physically in California. Do your depositing and withdrawing when you're there. And just play in NY when you're physically there, but avoid the cashier until you're soaking up sunshine in Cali.

If you leave your screen on the lobby, the constant updating will bring your computer to a crawl, load your tables and switch to the casino lobby. You are welcome.

Hello everyone. I would like to start playing online. Im a US player and I live in the state of Maryland so my options are very limited. I have done research and it seems my options come down to Chico, Equity, and Grand. I would like to here which network you guys would recommend. Ive heard rumors about them all but would like to hear from people that actually are using the sites now.

I would like to hear about the software, traffic, and tournaments. I'm looking to make a steady side income on whatever one I decide to play on.

Thanks in advance!

By grand do you mean 5dimes poker room? If so, you can play on WPN from 5 dimes; they offer 2 poker sites; or atleast used to.

Hey guys, relatively new to online poker, I'm in the states and unfortunately not in NV or NJ, I was wondering if there is a site out there or someway to play online on an android device. Or is that just crazy? 📱😉

Full Flush has an android app. However before depositing I highly suggest looking into their current status of not paying out players.

Grand Poker (5 dimes) can be played via adobe flash without downloading the client. Download "photon browser" browser app to be able to use flash (firefox, chrome, and IE do not support flash on mobile devices.

I play grand via flash via photon browser myself. works fine. hard to play more then 2 tables tho. have to manually click between browser tabs.
