Recently opened an account at ACR , have made a few deposits mainly for sports betting and want to try and build a roll playing poker there. The problem is I do not know much about ACR other than what I read in forums.

Are the payouts quick at ACR? Any negative or positives you could give me that you have experienced at ACR would be great.

Thanks in advance

OP, if you are honestly looking for advice I would advise not taking it from someone who is implying one of the two sites is rigged.

I thought this thread was going to be a comparison of the two sites, not deciding which one is rigged or not lol. If you go into the Bovada thread, you will see the exact same thing ... people saying they are switching to ACR because of bad beats on Bovada.

Base your decision on the actual merits of the site - browse through the ACR thread and the Bovada thread, ask questions if you wish, then make a decision. Don't make a decision based on someone saying the RNG is off or something equally as crazy.

Spot on Gemaco! The place for Rigtard talk is here, and NOT in this thread.

You have the prepaid debut card option hear it takes a day or im switching to WPN (true poker, acr, and blackchip) from bovada because i hate the anonymous tables as well. Ive played on ACR before and had no issues i did check withdraws and it was just over a week so i cant complain. Ill be getting the debit card once i transfer back.

I've only played on BCP not Bovada and while I wish the traffic was better for small stakes 6 max sngs I don't really have any other complaints. Software is decent, mtt selection is decent as well, haven't made a cash out yet but from what I've read they are pretty fast and consistent.

Question for you guys...I'm currently playing at Merge, and I'm well aware of the horror stories surrounding the payout times, which isn't exactly making me feel comfortable about staying at Merge. I just play small stakes, binked a $11 tourney last weekend and now I have close to $700 in my account up from $150, and trying to decide if I want to switch to Bovada. I play MTTs for the most part.

I like the tournaments at Bovada better honestly...way more selection of deep stacks, some tournys have 15 minute levels at reasonable buy ins, I hear the playing field is just as soft if not softer, good blind structures and it doesn't look like the satellites auto-register you into a tourney that's already been going on for 3-4 hours if you win a seat (I HATE that on Carbon).

The downside though is the anonymous crap. I used to play on Bovada, and now that I'm on Merge, I'm using Poker Tracker 4 and the idea of having to give that up irritates me to no end. I know you can get HE Indicator, and import the hands into Poker Tracker, although I'm not sure if you can import the tournament data itself in there as well so you can still track ROI, ITM, etc. stats with PT4. Also not sure if it's worth the hassle or easy to import the hands to PT4.

I dunno, what do you guys think? If I withdraw sounds like it would be months before I even got my money anyway and that's if the check clears.

I think you have the pros and cons pretty well worked out already. I also concur that it will take you a couple months to get a check if you request right now. I disagree with your sentiment "that's if the check clears" -- Checks are clearing at about 99% rate, as always there is a small failure rate which is nothing to concern yourself with as it is just the nature of the game.

Hey guys relatively new to the forum;

Looking for the best online site to grind 2-4 or 4-8 limit.

I am a US player so I realize that there could be no real answer to this question but I figured it was worth the post.

I enjoy playing MTT's and SNG's on blackchip but I've had a hankering as of late to play some cash and grind up a roll as opposed to looking for the big tournament score every now and then.

Thanks in advance.
PS I've also played extensively on bovada and honestly never enjoyed it or have a desire to go back.

Merge is the only other network (aside from Bovada) where you'll find those games on a regular basis. But even there the traffic has been very light for the past year or so.

Ever since PokerHost joined WPN there has been an occasional Limit game running at those stakes on BCP but those games are very occasional so you'd need to constantly check to catch one.

I have to say after playing a few tourneys on Bovada...their software is the buggiest, most awful I've seen in awhile. Sound doesn't work on Macs? Lobby randomly crashes? Wow.

I mean I love the fact the players are so terrible I got 3 bet by someone with KQs and they even called a 4 bet vs. my AK but my god the software is terrible.

Don't see any problems on my Mac (all MacOS updates installed).
Anyway as you've said the games are really soft there. That's why I can live with their software.

Is there any other room for US players with such soft games?

It depends on which US State you reside in and whether or not you can prove such residency. Your ID has nothing to do with that part of the equation.

Hello,

I am an active texas holdem live game player and I am considering to start playing online games. Can anybody recommend what the best websites would be? I've just moved to Vegas to play poker full time and want to start playing online as well. Any extra tips would be appreciated!

Check the original post of this thread JSL. There, you can see which sites allow you to play from your state. Then you can ask us more in depth questions and/or inform us how you define "best" and someone here can further assist you.

Yours would be a good story for the Poker Goals & Challenges Forum. Please consider starting a thread, thanks.

Full Flush Poker is fine. The tournament schedule can be found using Google. It's nothing stellar, but their policy/setup is such that nearly ALL tournaments overlay and provide added value. When one consistently hits the mark, they raise the GTD and start all over again.

The cash games are soft.

The payouts are on the slow side (always have been). Expect ~1 week for cash payments and ~1 month for checks/wires.

Getting a permanent address in Idaho is probably easier than Canada at this point. You will need a verified residence on file in which to have your checks sent and for the various site's KYC compliance checks.

Idaho is a state unrestricted by any of the "US-Friendly poker sites" so feel free to gamble it up there. Before you ask, your WA state ID, is of no concern and is only going to be used by sites to verify WHO you are.

Do you know if a PO Box suffices as a permanent address? Or possibly paying a friends electrical bill/water bill, etc?

Any other ideas?

P.O Boxes are not accepted by any US site that I am aware of.

Using a friend's bills will not work as the names do not match up with the poker account name. The bill needs to be in your name.

Be careful. What you are suggesting could be construed as a ToS / T&C violation by the sites and if they were to catch you, they can pretty much do whatever they want with your account/funds.

Well, that doesn't sound like a great plan. I guess my only reasonable option is to get a cheap apartment or something.

I have accounts in just about every poker site available to US players. I wanted to ask to more experience players which sites are the fastest and more reliable to make withdrawals. Also which methods they used.

I really wanted a new thread....
