I thought it would block the transaction if it's restricted? I'm confused.
Also it seems like most of you don't use bovada? I've read about carbon, but it seems more difficult to deposit, rather than bovada where I can just pay w a credit card.
Again, why was my transaction not blocked and what could happen since I'm playing in a restricted state? Any advice on what to do next?
1) Count yourself lucky that you were able to deposit, most players in NY can't do that. They often allow existing players from NY to continue, though withdrawal options are limited to cash transfers... no checks or wires.
2) Bovada is the largest US-friendly poker site, lots of people play there.
3) Carbon has credit card deposits, as does every other US-friendly poker site. Success rates at all sites vary, and even at the same site the success % varies based on what company is processing CC deposits at any given time.
