Thanks
Either WPN(has rakeback) or Carbon (no rakeback)

I thought it would block the transaction if it's restricted? I'm confused.

Also it seems like most of you don't use bovada? I've read about carbon, but it seems more difficult to deposit, rather than bovada where I can just pay w a credit card.

Again, why was my transaction not blocked and what could happen since I'm playing in a restricted state? Any advice on what to do next?

1) Count yourself lucky that you were able to deposit, most players in NY can't do that. They often allow existing players from NY to continue, though withdrawal options are limited to cash transfers... no checks or wires.

2) Bovada is the largest US-friendly poker site, lots of people play there.

3) Carbon has credit card deposits, as does every other US-friendly poker site. Success rates at all sites vary, and even at the same site the success % varies based on what company is processing CC deposits at any given time.

I'm more so worried about bovada taking my money away, or if this puts me at any higher risk than others.

I don't think you have anything to fear about your account's funds being confiscated.

Netspend works for me yesterday. Made a successful depo to Bovada.
Will it work for Carbon, ACR or BCP also?

It takes a large player pool to support a game like Zone Poker. So none of the other sites in the US has it because the player pools aren't large enough.

Zone poker really isn't all that successful outside of PokerStars, which of course is not available to US players. The only other US site with zone poker is Revolution, and it runs far less on Revolution than it does at Bovada.

Depends on how you define "best" and also what types of cash games you are wanting to play.

The largest two US sites are Bovada and Carbon and both will probably have what you want, but you'll need to be more detailed in order to get a more detailed answer.

I'm mostly looking for high volume MTTs. With multiple MTTs running at the same time.

In order of the most MTTs offered for the US market: Bovada > Carbon > Winning Poker Network skins (ACR, BCP, PokerHost, True, Ya Poker)

Chico uses the same software as Full Flush. Neither are HEM/PT compatible but both work with Holdem Indicator.

CC processing isn't foolproof on US sites. If you try your card again on Carbon at a later time, it may work.

For those who use Visa NetSpend for deposits, what type of fees come with the card? I'd only use it once for a Bovada deposit and imagine there might be a maintenance charge of some sort even if I don't make additional purchases.

So you are only going to use it once, and you are worrying about maintenance fees?

Put about 10 extra dollars on the card more than you are planning on depositing to make sure the deposit plus fees is covered.. Can you handle all that extra vig?

Net spend was good enough to credit some fees back to my account. So if you can wait that long, just kill what's left on the card in a hamburger joint or market.

It's like a 1 dollar fee for each debit card usage, and 2 dollar charge for credit card usage, if you want to kn o w exactly what there fees are, go check yourself.

You have two choices then. Carbon Poker for the soft games or Winning Poker Network for the VIP rewards and rake races.

Also is there a site I can use that list the sites and the games that a running. I'm looking for something like what the Bovada app does for live games. I'm looking for an array of stakes from 1-2 to 5-10.
