Why are the Equity and Chico networks excluded from the sticky?

What is the deal with what states they are available in?

Hi all, I'm new to the site... I currently play 5 tables of .50nl on Bovada and Carbon poker at a win rate of about $25/hr....However I was wondering if anybody had any info on America's cardroom, I see they offer rakeback, I was wondering how the site traffic is for cash games and if I should consider moving my play to that site to take advantage of the rakeback offer.

Thanks, Chris

Hi fellow 2+2 members, i have a really silly question but maybe some of you guys would know the answer to this, or maybe can post up a thread where they talk about my question (because i have looked all over the internet and couldn't find a single threat/blog/question that answered my question.

I recently moved to China, for foreign exchange program and will be here for about 2-3 years. So my question is, can i use an American VISA Debit card, and use one of the deposit services that Pokerstars or Full Tilt offers, such as ASTROPAY, or ENTROPAY? or would they still just decline my card, even though i use those 2 services to purchase an online VISA card??

Or do i have to set up a bank account in the country i am currently in, and use that (Online Gambling is a gray area in China when it comes to legality, and the language barrier is huge; where i have already attempted going to several different banks but no one at that time spoke English), although i have seen some people online from this country playing online, but their probably natives, and if setting up the account is the only way, i will definitely persevere and take my Chinese for Dummies Book with a Chinese/English dictionary LOL...

So any thoughts, opinions, answers, or links to other threads answering a question related to this would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!

THANKS!!!!!

Any 2+2 people Play online poker from WA state?

So does anyone from WA state play poker online? i have done some research on it, but most of the things i read say its illegal but some sites take WA state players so i am confused, and there has been no record of anyone ever getting charge with a felony in WA Sate for playing online poker. And they say from what i have read, if there was going to be any charges, it would be on the sites letting WA state players play on there sites. So my question is. Does anyone here from 2+2 play online poker from WA state and cashed any sum of money and got it and its been ok? And if yes what site you play on?

Also during my research of WA state laws on online poker, The sites i was researching my info on were recommending to betonline cuz they accept WA state players, but i have a read bad things about them already about not paying out to players. i don't know if this is true or not. So any help will be most appreciated!! Thank You ahead of time!

Sorry for the beginner questions, but the little research i have done for the last hour and half i just cant find a solid answer...

Thanks for any help..!

OK, finally gave the OP a big update based on info provided by others in this thread, like 39suited and especially BrunoMasulis. If anyone sees any errors or things I've missed, please let us know.

I just saw some relatively big HU action action on Seals, including a 74,407 chip pot.

That is $28,000.00 The rake was only 3 chips, which is $1.14

From the chat, it appears that both players are from U.S.

Continuing

Hi, welcome to the forum. I'm from WA state too, and yes our poker laws suck but some sites do allow us to play. I'm currently playing on Bovada and have recently received a cash out that went fine and was pretty quick. Let me know if you have any questions.

Should add that all US players can play for bitcoin on Betcoin.ag which is also on the winning poker tournament network connected to wpn tournaments buying in using bitcoin.

If you like more crashes than normal, cashout problems, and incompetent management, then Betcoin.ag is a good place to play.

Otherwise, I'd stick to SportBet if you want to use bitcoin for deposits and withdrawals on WPN. They have access to all of the games, cash games and tournaments, not just the tournaments like Betcoin is limited to.

Thanks for welcoming me to 2+2 forums! Ya Bovada is the site i wanted to play on, so thats good to here you are playing from WA state on bovada. and you were able to cash out some money and be fine.

Questions:
1. How long you been playing online poker from WA state?
2. How long you been playing on Bovada from WA state?
3. How many times have you cashed out from a online poker site or on bovada in WA state and you got your cash with no problems? not looking for a exact number just want to know if its just been a couple times or a lot of times.

Just moved back to US. I've been playing on bovada and swc. These both have their benefits and detriments.

I'm totally lost here. I used to play rpm, where they had high player volume and a lot of hyper-turbos running at once. All I'm seeing here is America's cardroom, winning poker, and carbon. Thinking of going with carbon if I can get RB.

In summary; WTF WHY CAN'T THIS JUST BE ****ING LEGAL AGAIN!!!

No rakeback at Carbon (or anywhere on the Merge network).

RPM was cool. Yeah that's all that's available, ACR, carbon, and betonline. (WPN, MERGE, CHICO)

In the next few days I am planning on making a large deposit 1K-2.5K on a new site. I have been looking at all the available options open to me. I would like to get some feedback and or suggestions on which site you think would be best to make such a deposit. Taking into account traffic, sign up bonuses, rakeback if available and anything else you may think is pertinent. I have been looking at different rakeback sites as well and I have found that different sites offer different perks for signing up via their rakeback site. i.e. one site offered a PCA main event satellite package and spending money if you cleared a certain amount of rake over that past year. Or some offer different rake races or whatnot. I have been long removed from playing online poker and have the opportunity to get back into it over the next few months and could really use a helping hand since things have changed drastically post Black Friday.

Thanks much in advance,

Well first off I see that you are from IL, which is a good thing because you are not restricted like some states. I am from IL also.

This is just my opinion based off what you asked. Bovada is the biggest American facing sites with the best GTDs in tournaments and most cash game traffic. With that being said they have anonymous tables so you do not know who you are playing and there is no rakeback.

Winning Poker Network which is the skins Americas Cardroom and Black Chip Poker, is the second best option if you ask me. The offer 27% rakeback option, with deposit bonuses etc. They have decent traffic for an American facing site and some good GTD tournaments. On top of that the depositing and withdrawing on this network is great too. The Online Super Series which is their tournament series starts today also.

Can any New York players break down which sites are the best to play on? Debating Bovada, 5dimes, or betonline... just want to make sure about traffic, ability to play, and cashouts... thank you

If you don't already have an account with Bovada then you're out of luck.

Then you're still out of luck, as Bodog has never allowed PTP transfers, at least not since I've been a member of these forums.

Edit to add: Actually, I seem to recall there was a time when they made the rare exception, but that's a number of years ago. And I might be misremembering.

It seems like all rooms are good for TX according to the first post. Bovada is great for those who like anonymous tables.
I have an old account at Carbon. Is it still good as it was right after the BF?

And 27% rakeback for ACR and BCP sounds really good. I play NL10 so is it real to get such rakeback?

Thanks.
