I have two questions.

1) Aren't there any <€10 Supernova qualifiers?

2) Why are there so little Turbo qualifiers for the UO? Especially the €10 & €50, it's very hard to play a couple of UO satellites and not be spending all of your free time (if you got a day job).

I agree with what Sleazy said. This way over a year old, and it made a lot of sense - Unibet was growing well beyond the brand, now representing a much bigger portfolio - maria, 32red, stan james, huome, igame, roxy. They also have innovation/investment arm, Kindred Futures.


Just simply not the situation in this specific case, imo. And the business has grown a lot under its new name.

Whats the deal with captcha when logging into the site now? It's the most tilting thing ever having to go through 4-5 pictures some of which you can't even distingush on whether it has the thing you're suppose to be looking for, in the end I just had to give up after going through six different pictures. What happened to the good old just typing out a phrase? I don't want a 10 minute game of spot the difference everytime I want to log in. Is anyone else even getting this? Just started with me today... could be a firefox thing only?

That would be good, MTTs are really lacking on Unibet, they need to add bigger GTD and run more satellites

I have read how a lot of people is trying to defend Unibet, I don't know why but I suppose there are reasons for that. Nevertheless I have also read a lot of bad things about Unibet. Blocking and closing accounts, freezing and appropriating money that belong to their customers. I am one of them. But the worst thing for me is not that they closed my account and stole my money. It's the general attitude of their employees that are perfectly unified and harmonized with the company's energy. Arrogant attitude, absolute carelessness, robotic repetitive communication patterns and willingness to say things like "your funds are frozen and you can't do anything about it". That's quite shocking to be honest.

Please please remove captcha from logging into the website, the only time I recall seeing it before is when you put in wrong details in the login client which is fair enough.... I mean wtf even is this:



If you happen to miss or misidentify a picture you then have to go through about 4-5 more stages because you even get chance to verify yourself as human again, there's nothing more tilting. It's a process that can take 5-10 mins.

I am unable to open the poker client after downloading on windows 7. I have it set to administrator.. I can’t play on the internet browser site as it is way too laggy and hard to multi table.. is there anything you can suggest I try in order for the software to work?

I do notice that when I have installed the program it seems to take an age saying it is installing c++ 2013 even though it is already installed..

If anyone knows what this may be then please.. any advices welcomed.

There are some 2€ flips to the 10€ qualifiers for the supernova. There is usually a 5€ flip directly into the supernova on Sundays as well. I would like to see some qualifiers in the 0.10-0.20€ range, like they have for the uk tour and the unibet open.

I was playing a €10 UO qualifier and I think something went wrong with the prizepool. There were 23 entries (23 * 9 = 207) but the prizepool was €200. Tournament ID: 9227387.

They also have 2€ qualifiers to 10€ tickets that you can then use in the qualifiers for the supernova.

Please add antes from the start to the 5 seat SNGs, it is pretty much the standard now at the sng offering of any reasonable network to have antes from the start. Anteless tournament poker is tight and boring imo.

Also as mentioned a while back here, you should consider doing some kind of promo to increase traffic at the 5 seat SNGs 50e+. These run very rarely compared to the lower ones unfortunately
Reducing rake for the first 3 entrants would be great, because once only 2 people need to join, they tend to fill up quite quickly, so there would be a big incentive for the first 3 people to start the sng.

On the mtt front, it would be great to see a moderate gtd 50e freezout/reentry or 25r earlier. Right now there is no midstakes mtt to play before 18:00 CET. This might also help boost SNG traffic.

2 seat sngs are excluded from any kind of promo for months. What gives?

Regarding the 50+ 5mans, I agree it’s disappointing, but it’s in line with other sites, even though Unibet have tried to boost traffic at the higher stakes. They’ve already done rake reduction, when they reduced it to 3% at 50e+ it made no noticeable difference to traffic, very few players are motivated by the rake, Including many regs it would seem. Do they even know about the reduced rake, which I’ve mentioned previously as an issue, stop hiding the rake structure when it’s the industry low.

So, maybe try an extreme version of your idea, first 3 pay 1.7%, last 2 pay 5%. Unibet collects exactly same amount overall as before. These early bird promos do punish recs though, so I’d be surprised if Unibet did it.

Or, make 50e+ 4max. Stars.fr did this for a time a few years back at highest stakes (100e), and it worked.

I’m very biased in that I have way more experience in sngs of the Unibet structure type, but tight is not a word I would use to describe the play of the Unibet sng player pool; antes not as needed as they were on stars for example.

Would be interesting to try out either of the first two options.

You are right, that the sngs don't actually play tight, but the non-ante structure does reward tightness and punish loose play (most of the recs)
