i refuse to accept this ****ing ticket for an event i have NO INTEREST in playing. thats not why i put my money in.
You don't have to accept the ticket, you can just let it expire, also you don't have to play on Unibet either, life's great like that, full of choices. Sure they messed up, but you didn't actually lose anything, stop crying.

Thanks for your feedback, we will discuss it within the team and also check if it's technical possible on what we have available right now. The only problem I see is if we cut the normal time to half is that players playing multiple HU's at the same time, might come and complain about timing out too often.
Any feedback is welcome, so thanks for that!

I understand it's frustrating, however it can't be fixed overnight, I can assure you that it's our highest priority to have the reconnection working properly again.
We don't necessarily need the exact tournament ID, it really depends on how much you are playing, a time frame + tournament name + buyin should be enough to find the tournaments with the issues. A screenshot would be the ideal solution.

@Lemikinge: Same for you, I totally understand your frustration, the main problem is that reconnections are not always working, so if you lose internet connection from your side for just a few seconds (which happens often), then with usual reconnecting it wouldn't be much of an issue but since it doesn't always work for some unknown reasons right now, it creates these kind of issues.

Do I want a supernova ticket, you think this is FAIR?

even though i was PAYING ENTRY INTO A DIFFERENT GAME?

How about $100 euro cash? Any form of a ticket is a ****ing insult at this point.
Hey,
we apologize for the situation, however I kindly ask you to watch your tone. If you speak to CS and myself (also via PM) in a disrespectful manner, it is not exactly motivating to get your problem fixed.

I assume you're talking about the last satellite we offered which went about a minute too long and therefore registration was already closed.

Since all UOS79 tickets get turned into supernova tickets, this was also the case with you and it is not the fault of the CS agent you "talked" with.

For this circumstance we are happy to turn the ticket into cash (only if won through that particular satellite), please PM me your username and I will take care of it.

For the future I kindly ask you to speak to us a little bit more respectful, we are not perfect and issues happen but I think most people in this thread can agree, that we try our best to fix issues in a customer-friendly approach, thank you.

Even now, an hour and a half after the problems, I still can't log back in. Internet is fine. Party Poker app on tablet is working just fine. Fuming really because the money up top in the E79 was really big and I don't get the opportunity to play for large sums like that very often. Utterly deflated with Unibet poker atm.
Have you changed IP's by any chance lately? This is usually an error message that customers receive when IP changes countries. It usually gets fixed, if you log in through unibet page and then try again to login through software/mobile.

Could you please send me a PM with your username and I'll check for possible compensations. Apologies for your bad experience, I understand that you were looking forward to playing and then this happened.

There is no rakeback in the traditional sentence, we want to keep a balance between rewarding our customers that play (and win) a lot but also keep the circle of losing customers alive.

Therefore we have a challenge points system that rewards mostly those that play a lot, the more challenge points you collect per quarter, the higher your rewards (can be bonus points which can be used in bonus shop, tickets, bonuses, cash or even an Unibet Open package)

We also have monthly promotions and missions in addition to that + double trouble/super double trouble freerolls for losing weeks, so there is no certain % in rakeback but overall we give a lot of money back to the customers.

I hope to see you at our tables!

Hello I did move house last week but have been playing from there with no problems until last night. I had to contact Live Chat to unblock my account. I then logged in via the Unibet page and then successfully logged into the client as you said.

I'll message you now to enquire about compensation. Thank you.

So I get the bonus points credited after every 3 months?
And can buy cash with them?
I just really don't want to forget about opting in to anything or leave some points that can be converted to money unused

Just wanted to say that the series was awesome to play!

You guys did an amazing job running such big tournaments, it was a lot of fun (Especially the 100r 100k)

One possible change would be to change some of the smaller tournaments e.g. The 15k 25 E80 to one day events instead of two. With 12 minute levels this doesnt really need to be a two day event - Sites like microgaming and Ipoker run these kind of tournaments regularly as one day events and it works really well.

Props to the Unibet team though, thanks

It's kind of a confusing rewards system (which is the case for most sites these days), but just with normal play you'll clear some missions and challenges, and pay rake, and this will earn challenge points, which lead to a mixture of instant bonuses/tickets and "bonus points". Bonus points can be saved up and used to "buy" rewards like cash game or tourney tickets, or clearable cash bonuses.

As an example, I've just come back out of retirement and only played a couple of games, so I've only got 800 challenge points for this quarter (I've only paid 8 euros of rake so far) and that earned me 100 bonus points. When I get to 1000 challenge points (by paying another 2 euros more in tourney rake), I'll get a 1 euro tourney ticket. In effect, it's 11% rakeback on the first 10 euros of rake, as those 100 bonus points are worth the equivalent of another 1 euro. The "rakeback" rate varies quite a lot though. Depending on volume and stake level, you might get the equivalent of about 30% back.

Challenge points:

You can see from the above screengrab that I earned 100 bonus points by playing a couple of tourneys. Those points get added to my balance that can be spent in the "bonus store". I've saved up 4895 points (which basically means I can buy 48.95 euros worth of tickets or bonuses in the store). If you don't log in for 3 months, these points get removed, but otherwise you are free to keep earning/spending them as you see fit.

Bonus store:

The system is complex, but it's more generous than what Stars and most other sites offer, especially for low volume/low stakes fun players.

P.S. There are other "missions" and promos that award tickets and points etc, so it's actually more generous than it initially looks. e.g. Just by changing my avatar I was automatically entered into a freeroll flippament as part of the World Cup promo. Unibet has loads of things like that, where you basically get free money for just doing your usual thing.

10%-60% rakeback.

Andrew posted these 1,5 years ago, probably still about accurate. Each challenge point is 1 cent of rake @ MTT and SNG and should be about that much with cash challenges.

It was a great tournament series, keep up the good work guys. And I did not have any disconnections , even it was busy this weekend.

Regarding the disconnects; played yesterday and saw a huge improvement; still disconnected at about the same frequency but was reconnected within a couple seconds each time, didn’t have to restart the client at all. Hope others that have been experiencing problems have seen this too.

It took a while but I’m happy unibet appear to be resolving this.

I had a problem with cs, i used some heavy (negative) words for the cs, but the problem is solved. They solved the problem. And now I play there since a week and its so far the best poker site i have ever played. Even better than stars. The most important 2 factors for me are the seriousness and the speed of transactions. I made 2 withdrawals until now and the money lands in my bank account within 24 hours. This is amazing. I recommend everyone to give a try to unibet. They deserve this.

I still always have to relog when getting disconnected.

Also, after several relogs my account still does not seem to load.

I played a tournament yesterday. After paying a big blind and small blind I was moved to another table due to "rebalancing" and was immediately put on big blind again. Granted, I never play tournaments but that seems kinda bad?

Table redraw is random so these things happen from time to time. The reverse can happen if you're UTG on one table and get moved to the button on another and miss the blinds twice.

Yeah, I've had this happen to me too last couple of times I was playing a turbo qualifier. This can really be a deal breaker when you're close to the bubble and effective stack is low so each blind matters a lot.

I figured the redraws are random but if my perception is correct, I can't remember this ever happening at stars. Do they use some kind of software that allows table redraws to be as "honest" as possible?

If they do, I think this should be high up on the "to do list" for Unibet if possible, as most of their qualifiers are turbo/hypers where one extra blind can really ruin your entire tournament, especially close to the bubble.

The problem with the reseating of players is when you go from 9 to 10 players for example. Instead of turning 1 table of 9 into two tables of 5 it goes for a table of 8 and a table of 2. This can last for multiple hands before it seems to balance things better or more players join and fill the second table.

There isn't really an fair way of making sure moved players don't have to pay blinds twice and I believe it happens on all clients. Players can only fill the seats vacated by knocked out players so if that happens to be someone UTG then the player moving into that seat is going to have to pay the BB next hand.

10 players left (two tables of 5) and the UTG player on table 1 busts. This causes table 2 to break to fill all the seats on table 1. All players on table 2 have a 1/5 chance of getting the BB seat.

I don't see a logic in making sure the BB from table 2 can't get the BB seat on table 1 because how do you then justify if the SB from table 2 gets put in the BB seat. He'll have had to pay a BB/SB/BB combo in three hands example.

I think it's just one of those luck of draw things that come with MTT poker

When breaking tables it's possible to have players be assigned seats based on their position to the blinds on their old table. Stars has this.

I did not know this, everyday is a school day

It'll probably go in the software upgrade pile with not giving out .5 chips in MTTs and other quirks that have been around forever.

no connection issues the last 3 days or so which feels reeeeeeally good man. so thank you for that ub.

i also have a pretty dormant 50nl cash ticket that i'd like to exchange if possible to 2x 25e tourney tickets, if that's not possible then a playthrough bonus.

if you're able to change cash tickets in the new system that is.

cheers

I've had one of my daily disconnections (not due to internet) and it reconnected in the span of 2 seconds, so looks like good progress. Not enough sample size to know if it's actually fixed or not, but a really good sign.

Yes, he's phenomenal

Would be one expensive promotion for Unibet if it was randomized, and you could score on 5 out of 6 shots. From the 30-ish shots that I've taken, I've scored on about half. Would be nice to know what the odds of making the top prize is though.
