I think because the meter kept running the milestone hand almost certainly is a cheat, they can decide to let the 2NL - 25NL win all the milestone hands so it will be cheaper for the site, they might let 200NL-400NL win one or two small milestones but never the big ones.

It would be hugely stupid for them to do this for the sake of a few K. Likely have invested millions into the product and software and ruin the reputation for a days rake. Especially when it's a new site that's investing decent in other areas like the live cash game.

Most likely just the sheer volume of players opening 10-15 tables all at the same time.

Well you can't sort out the tables numbers. Loose/tight is irrelevant as on 95m hand the table pauses and assume it does some graphics etc so no one can miss it.

Easily can sort out the payout by just looking into the account history of the player so they get the relevant prize

Just looked at the promo page. To say sorry they should add value. Make last 6 tables of this shoot out get €250, FT €2k and winner €5k min and any extra multiplers from the stakes that they play.

Right, sorry for the delay, we're at an awards thing at the moment, I just went home to get laptop and phone.

Obviously the site broke as we were near, so we are sorry for the problems. Very sorry, as it was going well.

We've found what caused the problems and we will relaunch soon - I can't check from here, it may be up already.

When the site relaunches, multipliers will be wrong if hands hit. we can check from play history what they should be and we'll manually readjust.

We'll also figure out a way to make it right for players who were on tonight and players who wanted to be, but we don't have details yet.

Yes, should be back soon. we were 6k hands short so it will hit before the multipliers for flops seen can ramp up again. we will make manual adjustments once the hand hits

Sadly we didn't win eGR poker operator of the year, PS did. would've felt strange to win after milestone crash though I guess

PS had some trouble with their tourneys recently, don't know what was exactly the issue but they had to reboot their entire server park, i heard?.

To me it comes down how such events are handled and what is done to prevent future crashes to avoid further anti climaxes.
