I like the current state of the client, except for how you now get sat out next bb at every table, if you accidentally time out at one table. It's so infuriating when you start getting mass-sat-out, missing orbits and there's nothing you can do about it (even selecting sit out next bb, then de-selecting it doesn't help). Worst case scenario is that it causes other people who don't want to play shorthanded to start sitting out, and eventually breaks the whole table, when you never wanted to sit out in the first place.
Hi Andrew,
Can you update my ticket for unibet open pls?

Thanks!
1. I read months ago that a new game was coming, but I still can´t see anything except NL, Banzai and PLO in the client Please provide some more options in terms of gametype. I know several other Unibet users who feel the same and would really like to see a new gametype. The client has been running smoothly for months, now is a good time to improve the offer!
2. I lose a lot at Unibet cash games and am always happy for the possiblity to win some of it back in the Super Double Trouble freeroll. However it is very tilting to bust close to the paying spots. Wouldn´t it be better for everyone if you would pay more places and reduce the 400 € payout in order to fund this change? More people would win something, which is great for every participant. Unibet would also have an advantage, that people who win 200 € are more likely to invest it back into the games, than people who win 400 € (and therefore are more likely to withdraw it).
This is one of the reasons why many sites offer promotions with little monetary value, because the provided amounts are so tiny that you can´t withdraw them and instead have to use them for gameplay.
So this looks like an easy improvement of the Super Double Trouble freeroll, which would benefit both the valued losing customers, who obviously are very important for the site, and also Unibet as an operator.
e.g. pay out 20x200 € instead of 10x400 €.
Of course it would still be very tilting to bust close to the paying spots, but the probability to win something would be doubled.
Additionally, I think you should move it away from the current timeslot. Many of the players who lose big and have big disposable income have a day job and therefore sometimes have to work long on Tuesdays and can´t make it in time.
These people like me are probably your most valuable customers and you should put these Double Trouble freerolls in a weekend evening.
(if you look around you see that other poker operators mostly run their freerolls on the weekend (e.g. Friday or Saturday ... this obviously is not a coincidence )
If you don´t want to move the Super Double Trouble you could also think about running it twice per week (of course with reduced prizepool in order to make it cost-neutral).
3. What is necessary to get a partial payout of challenge points at the end of the quarter if I don´t finish a major/minor challenge? How is it decided whether you receive incremental points or nothing at all? I couldn´t find this information anywhere on the website and my memory is letting me down
Thank you!

Oh, and I would like to see a poker app for Android smartphones
I don´t have a tablet and therefore can´t use the app.
You are missing out on a huge market.
It can´t be that hard to tweak the existing tablet app in order to make it work on Android smartphones as well.

Sorry again for the gap between posts, I'm at the developers for a workshop this week. I can't quite get all the way caught up, but it's close.
It seems that a few people are running into problems where they're logged out after 30 or 45 minutes. We're investigating.
Sorry, this isn't specific to poker, so I have no idea. Regular support shoudl be able to help you though.
Thanks, I've added this to the bug report.
What happens when you try? What's your alias? When did it start happening?
Thanks, I've passed this on to the developers.
What's your alias? I'll ask our 3rd line guy to educate the customer service agent who escalated it to him.
Thanks for the report, I'll pass this on to the developers too.
Hmm, it really isn't for me to explain
It'll be based on whether our legal and compliance teams believe it's allowed or not. Different legal teams in different companies will take different levels of risk.
We'll generally refund you, though if someone files 500 reports or something, we'll probably stop.
I don't think it's a good idea for us to split our SNG liquidity at this stage. If we were bigger then maybe we'd look at these kinds of games, but I don't think much about Beat the Clock for example, because there can't be winners at that level of rake.
I think you can avoid stalling by saying that the SNG lasts n hands rather than n minutes, so if we could split the liquidity then maybe it'd be viable to introduce this kind of game.
Thanks, I'll pass this on to the developers.
Sure, done.
Yes, we're mostly aimed at that player segment.
I don't think this video card is supporting directx, even if it's installed. It's probably doing stuff via software emulation, which is very very slow, so we don't allow it. You'll need a more recent card if possible.
I'll see if the developers can come up with anything here.
The browser version can only do tabs, because we can't control the size and location of the browser window.
Could you post the first two pages of your dxdiag please? In general, if you have fewer programs open, the download client will run faster.
Cool, thanks for the tip.
Yeh, it might be time. We have about as many people in the biggest Banzai game as we do in NL400, and we were comfortable adding a bigger NLHE game.
I think we'd probably wait until the autumn though, as I expect us to not grow over the next 4 months or so, due to the season.
Thanks, I've sent this to the fraud team.
Yes, regular support should be able to handle it. It's not a very common request for them though, and they sometimes don't know how to do it. If you get this, ask them to make sure that the right game is selected from the buttons, and that the correct stakes are selected from the Cash game stake dropdown menu.
Thanks for the report - we recently appointed a new head of support, so I will pass this on to her.
Yeh, I agree. That's why I genuinely like to receive this kind of negative feedback, because I can find out which agent doesn't know what they're doing, and we can fix it. Normally I never find out if someone is doing a bad job there.
It's definitely something that's being confusing.
Lapka! Hurrah!
Do you still get this? What's your alias?
Hm, am I looking at the right account? I don't see any 100 uk tour tickets.
I've done the others though.
Sure, done.
Sure, done.
I agree that there should be a way to cancel this from happening, though I am comfortable with having it sit out on all when you time out on one. I'll add something to the list of improvements.
a few things to add to the bug report from 2x2 tiling.
On twitch several users have mentioned the bug and also SleazyP84 from this thread has this bug. David van der Heyden has the bug as well, and I asked him to try it and he still has it.
The bug is in this clip from his twitch channel:https://clips.twitch.tv/WealthyKnottyDiamondTinyFace

Not sure if it's been brought up but since the last update, there's a pretty annoying bug with the web client table priority. For example when playing multiple SNGs and you reg another one in the same instance of the previous table then that table remains the priority table (with the red mark), meaning that every few seconds it takes the action from your other tables so you can see that you're still waiting for people to reg. It also happens with cash games, if you time out (then global sit out, which again is pretty annoying), then the action remains on the table where you've sat out until the big blind hits you. Again meaning that every few seconds it takes you back to the table where it thinks there's action on you but you're actually just waiting for the BB. If you then sit out on another table because you couldn't act because the priority table kept flicking to the one where you are just waiting for the blinds then it just ends in a big annoying mess of not being able to do anything but close all the tables and weep.
I have now tried 3 times to get a cash game report from support, but haven't gotten any email yet .It worked fine last month, but there my request was forwarded to the poker department. Seems like your regular support doesn't really know what its about. One guy even said "ill try my best" and just left the conversation
software is crashing lots of times lately for me, most often when i try to open the replayer, it works fine lots of times but once in a while you see the replayer window loading and everytime you see it loading, you know it will crash the whole software on you (usually replayer window opens immediately). Yesterday software was crashing when i tried to open another table, with the button on the top left corner. To me it seems, that these 2 issues are correlated with each other, as it only happens when you try to open a new window/table
The poker sites that are still marketing actively to Russia (Stars, 888, Party) are finding workarounds and hosting their login screens on unblocked mirror domains or CDNs. Unibet, however, doesn't care much about this country any longer.
Why Unibet and Stan James haven't simply ejected all their Russian players is up to Andrew to explain. Of course I have to thank the higher management of the company for the decision to allow the existing Russian customers to stay.

Dear Andrew,
Are you going to introduce any kind of SNGs at Unibet that will be guaranteed to end within a fixed time (or at least to stop requiring any action from a player after the deadline passes, i.e. put them all-in automatically), like Stars' Beat The Clock, 888's BLAST and Microgaming's timed HUSNGs? What do you think about this recent trend in online poker?
If you're open to the idea of such SNGs, then we (everyone who is interested) can start a brainstorming PM exchange to find ways to fix the existing design flaws of such games (such as stalling near the end), or simply share ideas publicly if you don't regard this topic as commercially sensitive.

Bug report.
When someone busts and then rebuys in the UK Tour satties (and presumably other rebuy tourneys), their second entry isn't listed in the lobby. This game has a starting stack of 2000. There were actually 7 entries at this point, but the guy that rebought only had his name listed once. FWIW, I think the bug has existed for over a month, but I'm not sure if it's been reported before.

Hi (Andrew)
or anybody else who figured this out/has an answer for this.......
Because i cannot use windows anymore (i know.....) i am bound to Linux (or a derivitative hereoff), and am trying to get the client to work in this environment.....
obviously i am having troubles, else i wouldn be asking for support in this case....
I use;
Linux Manjaro XCFE
Playonlinux (with wine, having the best results so far wih 2.6 staging)
i have installed the latest (linux) nvidia drivers, i think 375.xx
i have plugged in flash player, dx9,dx10,dx11,vb2013 and java, through the playonlinux settings
I have most of the program working (i can login, and use the lobby), but when i start a game, it will give the "black screen-bug". Since i have known about this bug in the past, i was tying to solve it with the comments that are made in threats (mostly on the community), but none of them are working so far.
basicly we should have uptodate; graphics driver, java, flash. (do we even need the dx9,10 or 11? isn't this implemented in the graphics driver?). for me i think i have this up to date right now, but i can get rid of the black screen bug...
I know people had these problems, and the fix was made by unibet (i assume they changed something in the installer, so that it includes some libraries or packages that are not installed on every system). Can i get information about what you fixed, or at least what does unibetpoker.exe have for dependancies (for example java and flash are mentioned on your website, but it 100% sure needs more, like d3d9 libraries) i figured out some of the components, but i am getting really stuck, and because of diverse reasons i haven't been playing (a lot) in the last few weeks.....and this is annyoing.....i have tickets expiring everywhere, and don want to make my problem your problem (by asking to revive/expire a lot of them), but i think your support/developers can help me out with my question, which would save me a lot of time.
if i have it working, i will make a tutorial "how-to-install-unibet-on-linux" which should be something that you would appreciate.....also on several places on the internet it says the client works on linux, this (as far as i can figure out) was only the case with unibet V1, since V2 nobody got it working (correctly). I am almost there but to save me a lot of time, it would be so happy if i can receive the dependancies....
for now i have to use the webbrowser, which (pardon me) just doesn work for me (like i would like). i actually just want 1 program to work, and guess what program that is
Thanks for reading and putting the time and effort in this to try help me out a bit....
generally speaking i like 2.5 it was a very good improvement over 2.4 for my setup
probably have more to say about this but im on work right now, and if i write forumpost all day, my boss will fire me......
if its private info (the dependancies) (which i dont think), you got my email through my alias; Hensiepensie

When I play the downloadable client and am doing other stuff my computer lags terribly. I have a decent computer and no problems with any other site.
So I have been playing the online instant play version. Is there any way I can tile the tables with this, rather than having them stacked?
Any tips for making the downloadable version not lag?
Thanks

Banzai NL20 seems more popular than Banzai NL5 quite often.
Is that taken as a sign that people would like to play higher? It is definitely a game which gets more exhilarating as you move up, whereas I don't really feel that with other poker forms.
Banzai NL100 would be fantastic if it existed.

Hey Andrew, observed this hand on Unibet yesterday. Button bets €2.90 into €4 on the river leaving just €0.02 behind. He gets min-raised by the other player in the hand but surprisingly folds. Both players then immediately quit at exactly the same time. Worth noting the time taken for each player to act was very similar throughout the hand.
About the dutch support thing.....
ITS BAD lately, in the weekends they never do stuff (imo) (there might be the odd exchange) but usually it goes over the weekend, if they haven't done it by friday....
i try to get " more" tickets in my account so i can play for a few days, without having to depend on the changes being made or not. i tend to keep a week of tickets in stock, and sometimes this still is not good enough.
Since a few weeks i also have PC problems so i am curious what will happen if i can't gt it fixed soon, because then a ****load of tickets will expire/have to be revived......but support isn't happy with me at all, at the moment, apparantly i ask for to many revives (i have to, because support doesn't change the tickets in time, or just doesn't do it at all.
i tend to not complain too much about this, because i think the changing is an extra service but seeing the post above me, i wanted to elaborate on it, so maybe somebody is helped by this info...

it should be, but the last 6-8 times i asked, i get the wrong info.....
...i just stopped asking for it because of that
even with the comment andrew made earlier (about which boxes they need to tick) they get it wrong, and i just get annoyed if you have to keep emailing to get the proper info, that's not worth the time and effort for a rec imo

Do you still get this? What's your alias?
I've done the others though.
Sure, done.
And if you're especially unlucky you'll get the bug where the timer starts counting down for when you'll be thrown out of all the tables, and won't go away, which is a bit of a b*tch if I may say so (this was already there before the newest update though). I've gotten used to it, but if I was a new player I'd probably be thinking "wtf is going on, where am I supposed to click now to prevent this from happening". I guess this could be a hardware issue though, and maybe it has been previously discussed itt.
Only focusing on the negatives in the above. Other than those issues, obv great improvements in the client since the launch. And thank you Andrew for paying close attention to this thread, and for taking the time to provide elaborate answers and explain your reasoning behind all the decisions and features, in the midst of your freeroll ticket extending endeavors .
I think you were looking at the right account, because I indeed got the double trouble ticket. I have 7x100UK in my account, the first one is expiring in 3 days. Also, I see you extended 3x €50UO, but you didnt extend the soonext expiring, so I still have one expiring in 5 and one in 7 days. I hope you can look into it again and extend 5x 100UK and 3x50UO. Or just extend them all ;-)
My alias is RK_95 and I am pretty sure you looked at the right account.
If you need another alias: AlwaysfoldKK
Really appreciate your help and thanks in advance!

Instantly getting sat out on all after sitting/timing out on one is obv fine. The fact that you'll be sat out perhaps 3 minutes into the future without any warning and you're going wtf is happening is super distracting. Plus it messes with everybody's gameplay since you're now forced to sit out an orbit on all the tables after you time out on one. So a hastier player might even insta-quit a table if he thinks a 3-handed table just went heads-up. IMO this seems like a pretty major issue.

I had a bit of overlap with the tables so I couldn't see all the situations that were happening, what positions I was in etc. and I didn't have time to play any longer either, so can't tell you exactly how it would have proceeded. But last night playing my normal stakes I was confused af twice for like 10 minutes, and basically quit my session after I completely lost my focus having to click myself back in here and there, over and over again.
hi andrew, I still can't tile 9 tables on my WQHD monitor.
I have made videos and there are 9 tables on one screen. in February I guess.
I dont know if it is a windows adjustment. i can manually size the tables smaller. but when i hit tile to 9 tables they do overlap each other in height. In width they fit.
what can I do?
Example I want 3x3: they overlap in height
X X X

At the moment we're working on some behind-the-scenes stuff that will make it easier for us to acquire players via mobile. This will be pretty big for us as a company, but won't affect existing players very much.
After that, we'll be looking at new features. A new game takes a lot of work, because it touches fundamental parts of the game engine. So I don't think we'll have 5 card PLO next month or anything like that.

(note that the bottom of the scale starts high, rather than at zero).
3. What is necessary to get a partial payout of challenge points at the end of the quarter if I don´t finish a major/minor challenge? How is it decided whether you receive incremental points or nothing at all? I couldn´t find this information anywhere on the website and my memory is letting me down
Oh, and I would like to see a poker app for Android smartphones I don´t have a tablet and therefore can´t use the app.
You are missing out on a huge market.
It can´t be that hard to tweak the existing tablet app in order to make it work on Android smartphones as well.

Really appreciate your help and thanks in advance!

I just played a short session of PLO4 to see if there was a way around the bug that I mentioned in the first post. If i timed out, as long as I sat back in quickly enough to be dealt into the next hand, everything was fine and I didn't get sat out anywhere else. If I didn't click myself back in quickly enough and missed a hand, I then got sat out next bb on all the tables, even though the "Sit out next bb" hadn't shown as being selected on any of them. After I had missed the bb on all the tables, I thought everything should be back to normal, but even the following orbits all kinds of weird stuff started happening. For instance I got stacked in the CO, got the reload window, reloaded within the time limits and was normally dealt into the next hand in the HJ. After that hand I'm suddenly sitting out waiting for bb in the UTG Also, this time "sit out next bb was" selected.

X X X

Personally I play two across and 3 down. With the current system they are correct in terms of width so they overlap height-wise (entirely as regards the middle row - effectively it comes out as a 2x2 square with an extra row in the middle on top or under). If it was made correct for height then it would be 'wrong' in the sense that there would be unused space at the sides but tbh I think I would prefer this.
Not really, it would be true to say that either height or width has to be 'wrong' (either overlap or unused space) unless the person has a 16:9 and is playing a single table, 2x2, 3x3 etc.

My Display is a WQHD resolution of 2560×1440 pixels in a 16:9 aspect ratio.
And in the past (i dont remember when it changed) I could tile 9 tables perfectly without overlap.
Now it fills the width perfect but overlaps in height. See screens above.
Can i affect this issue from outside the client? windows properties?
So much Hit'nRunning lately. Super annoying.
Hi Andrew,
Don't know if you are aware it is still possible to bet with partial chips:https://gyazo.com/f61f83801dcfdba1cb70b4c08172e8f9
Also, any updates on the €1 18 man cap tournaments? They are gone for a while now, and I hope they come back!

[QUOTE=UnibetAndrew;52196156]Hmm, the Iasi one? My understanding is that you received the travel expenses. If you didn't attend the event, you could perhaps talk to pokerfest and see if they'll let you play the next event instead.
No, the 250 one from last year from Bucharest Unibet Open.
U ve extended it once before, but it was only for around 3 months or so and I don t see it in cashier anymore.
Thanks!

If this is something that a lot of people want, then maybe we could change it, but I quite like the parallel with regular double trouble.
But it's a bit rude to require someone to lose €200 and have a tournament to break even, which makes it much harder to sell. It isn't particularly 'double' if it pays back the amount you lost either.
I definitely want to add another weekly double trouble freeroll on a weekend, when we have enough players. It would be a mistake for us to change something that is working very well, so I only want to add another rather than move the existing one. Hopefully we can do this in the autumn when the summer slowdown is over.
On both Unibet and on PS, Fridays and Saturdays are some of the quietest days of the week. Here's what it looks like for us:
(note that the bottom of the scale starts high, rather than at zero).
I don't want to do it that way, because it reduces the effectiveness of the promotion. It's better that we double the prizepool when we run two per week, but for that, we need to grow a bit more first.
You need to have completed at least one major Challenge of that type in order to get a partial payout of the next major.
We've had an Android phone version since December 1st, and the Android tablet version worked on phones since Feb 2015, albeit in an unoptimised form. You could only install it if you had the apk link until early 2016, when we put it out on the website too.
I just like to add to my previous post that my suggestion could also be applied to the small Double Trouble freeroll in addition to the Super Double freeroll. E.g. 10x200 € on Tuesdays and Fridays, and 50x20 € on the same days for the small freeroll.
Of course it would make more sense to rename them after this change.
My main problem with respect to the timeslot is just that certain well-paying professions, who (usually) bring along disposable income, often require long hours on days like a Tuesday. I often can´t leave early enough due to work and therefore simply can´t participate.
And as I stated before players with much disposable income are an important part of your customer base.
I realize that asking you to change this is a bit selfish (), but I imagine I´m not the only one, who regularly has a problem with playing early Tuesday evening.
Regarding the volume graph I really had no idea that the volume is so low on the weekend days except Sunday.
Thank you for the enlightenment!
I downloaded the .apk from the mobile website, but I´m unsure whether this is the unoptimized version, which is optimized for tablets or the real smartphone .apk.
Any way that I can check, which one I have installed now?
edit: Another solution for the DT and SDT timeslot "problem" would be to run it on alternating days and not change anything else of the promotion.
E.g. in even calendar weeks run it as usual and in odd calendar weeks run it on a Saturday.
Hi, can play on Unibet in Spain?
Bug report:
In the profile where i can see how may flops I seen, it's not possible to click to the little arrow next to "TODAY". So i can't change it, and can't see my weekly and monthly stats.

That's what drove me to SNGs and I have not looked back since.
Dutch support is still very slow with changing tickets.
Can you please convert:
1 x Belgian Championship €90 > 4 x €20 BC + 2 x €4 BC + 2 x €1 BC
Alias: Turntacetic
Thanks!

is it possible somehow to know how many hands have I played?
Yes you can email Unibet and they'll send you that information, I did it a week or so ago.
Ok with the tiling problem in 16:9 3x3. I am sure there was a change. In an update before the tables got optimized for height and not for width. Now they got optimized for width. For me its very bad. I watched a video and there were free space at left position.
There should be an option to optimize for height or width I think.
