V2.2 client, exactly same problem as every other version of 2.x. Tested on a pretty high spec poker dedicated desktop and a laptop each time.

Open x8 5max sng tables. Client crashes at around 12-15 minute mark, right on time.

Any suggestions that don't involve wait and see what happens with next months update? Improving and adding more tables to browser would be something. Providing Technical support (though my experiences of this with stars haven't been great, and I've not seen much on these forums that make me think it's anything but a client issue when running multiple tables).

Would also be interested if there are plans to get a Slovak license before the IP block starts in the summer.

Got disconnected on the Android app twice in 40 min. My wifi is stable and was working during the disconnects. Only had one disconnect on the new Android app before those today.

Well, the mac client works better. No black windows detected. Resolution of fonts and cards are still poor, but it's much better. Thanks Andrew Still much work to do, but it's getting better.

Maximum buyin on cash ticket seems to be capped on available my cash balance.

These errors are with me for two months or more, and nothing has improved since 2.0 was launched.

when client notice disconect (ofcourse only with your servers coz all pages on the world working fine) theres a minute or more when client is trying to catch the connection, but never reconnect then close yourself.

Also when I'm leaving the table there is a 4-5 sec freeze of everything (depending on how many tables I've open) - only freeze no crash fortunately, but many times I'm going to sitout, folding good hands or leave big pots.

Can anyone help me with this as I am a complete computer noob?

For me, after the update, the software runs way better. Now I can play at 8 tables of cash and be able to click for the 9th one or open the replayer. I played for almost 2 hours and everything went great. (except the fact that I run poorly at the tables) )

Looks like it's failing because you have the old client still running in the background. If you close it and then run the new setup file you downloaded it should work fine.

Major challenge "Win a hand postflop when you have any hand worse than one pair" doesn't seem to be working correctly (or the description should be more clear). I've had multiple occasions where I won on the river with A high and I didn't get a point for the challenge. Maybe change the text to "Win a hand postflop when you have any hand worse than one pair without going to showdown".

Don`t understand why they update the client as long they have not fixed the problems from december..
Each time it seems to cause lot of problems instead..

Sorry for the lack of updates, I had a couple of days off after travelling to see our developers last week.

It looks like the release yesterday introduced a runtime error bug for a (relatively) small number of players. We're looking into what's causing it. If you have the problem, could you please post your dxdiag front page please?

In the latest version, does anyone still experience the Win 7 black screen bug, where the graphics card settings didn't fix it? If so, could you let me know please.

Thanks for the report, I've passed this on to the developers. It looks to me like it's the same ticket type in the backoffice, so it's definitely a bug.

I'd be surprised if I could enforce this, they have their quotas and stuff. Support is one of those areas that I'd love to try to improve, but it's a huge job and I certainly couldn't do it while still head of poker.

I'm not going to set a 4 table cap on regular games. It's important to have winning players, and it's hard to imagine a situation where the right balance is a cap like that. If we didn't have winning players, we'd have a product competing with our (much, much bigger) casino product, which would defeat the point.

I think this is something that can be reworked. I'd like to e.g. vary the amount available based on average decision time for example.

We generally tweak this (and many other) promos to make PLO more valuable than NLHE. This is partly because you get dealt fewer hands per hour in PLO, partly because we rake more per hand in PLO, and partly just because I think it's an opportunity to grow the game further. That's worked pretty well, as PLO is growing much faster than NLHE for us.

This came up earlier in this post, but I'd like to rework this system a bit.

It's just a reserve, but I'd prefer it worked more along the lines of banking time. Not literally, but just that if you normally act really fast, you get more. If you normally act really slow, you get less.

It's bad for the games when someone purposely takes maximum time on every decision. It annoys players which costs us money indirectly, and it leads to fewer hands per hour, which costs us money directly. So we have a strong incentive to improve it. I don't think it's been a huge problem to date, which is why we haven't prioritised it, but I can definitely envision a situation where we would.

Hm, I don't think rake should be calculated that way. The rake is 12c on 400c total buyin, so it's 3%. Rake is the percentage of the total buyin, not the ratio of buyin to rake.

On that note, 50 & 100 5-max SNG are 3% too.

The general cash game philosophy is to rake as close to the same amount in bb/100 for every stake, so that's the same in SNG. I made the lowest stakes lower than higher (in bb/100) for the ecological reason you mention though.

I'm afraid this is something I'm not allowed to talk about. But I can say that our general philosophy is to apply for licenses in countries where it's economical for us to do so.

I had same bug. only the amount in my account was max by in, when played nl25 ticket.
Worked fine before update.

Even when you joined the table with the capped cash, while using the ticket, you can't rebuy to the max of the table, only to the capped cash you have..

So you always need to have atleast the max buyin in order to use a max buyin from ur ticket.

Re: the buy-in slider on the tournament list filter

It seems to run from something like zero to about 500 euros.

The trouble is, because it's linear (in the sense that the middle is 250 euro), a lot of the common settings people want, like whether or not to include or exclude tournaments of 0, 1, 2, 4, 5 and 10 euros are represented by a couple of pixels at the far left end of the scale. It would be nicer if it was logarithmic in some way (so the halfway point between 1 and 500 would be about 25 and there would be more space devoted to the lower buy-ins).
On the other hand, rather than doing it mathematically maybe just set it so the slider converts directly to min, 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, max with ten percent of the slider reserved for each buy-in.

By expanding the window to fullscreen I have managed to set it for 4-10 euros though so that's great compared to the previous situation where I had everything from 1-25 euros.

One more minor thing with the slider is, it would be nice if the text in the box underneath updated as we moved the slider rather than just when we released the mouse, because we don't know if we are releasing it in the right place and need to do it several times to get it right.
