Ok, I am sold on unibet after reading the nvg thread. Any ETA for the Android version?

I am British living in Slovakia. I assume that's ok.

Not sure what would actually speak against it except that you may have to take care of an extra night in the hotel.

Hello

There is something wrong with multitabling future in the MAC client. I tried to run 9 tables a few days ago and it was fine for a few minutes. However then it started to lag a bit. Performing simple action as folding or calling wasnt that smooth anymore. And it just got worse. In the end i had to wait like 10sec just to close single table. Totally playable
I had this issue ever since MAC multitabling future was introduced. And i dont think the problem is on my end. On my windows pc i run 8 tables no problem and its specs are far behind that of my MAC.

Some solution would be awesome.

Regards

I actually only played two tables today on a Mac and also experienced quite some lag, e.g. actions not being instant. It took two seconds to award the pot when a hand was over etc.

Am I the only one who misclicks "Fold" instead of "3x" when multitabling?
I think the bet buttons are too small and too close to the Fold button.

What happens when you try to sign up? Can you select Greece from the country menu?

Isildur wouldn't have any high stakes games to play on Unibet. Both are from Sweden but that's it as far as I see. Would be fun seeing him playing 200 400PLO/NL as play-money stakes for his feeling.

Challenge variance- when it becomes ridiculous!
Hi Andrew. I've been dealt over 4000 hands and I still haven't completed my MINOR challenge of "be dealt a pair then the following hand a higher pair". This coupled with the 27 major challenge means I feel like I'm playing for nothing. I fully understand variance but this takes the biscuit. Nothing to be done, I just needed to vent! Adrian

My guess would be no based on this post:

Andrew said earlier in thread that they will make changes to the Challenge system in the next quarter.
My goal this quarter was to make 1.25m points but I just got the "Reach a flop that only contains cards with a rank of 2 or 7" challenge again and it took me 5 days to complete it last time.
So I pretty much gave up on playing until changes are made.

I want to add that I love the Challenge idea and I find it more interesting that the traditional rakeback but some parts need to be reworked.

Somewhat agree, especially not "pros" like Blom. It would not even suit for your goal to attract recs.

If you want to have "Team Unibet" in Unibet Opens here's what I would suggest:

1) Arrange tournament series which award 1-3 tournament sponsorship packages for X Unibet Opens (preferrably one season). This should award full package since most players don't have enough spare cash to buy flights and hotels.

Probably better and more cash-efficient way to do this would be to award 1 UO season package, 4 Unibet Open packages and X (maybe 15) 250€ UO satellite tickets. This would be about ~20k€ package. Could be more, if plan is to get a team (like adding second UO season package and making 2 ways to get in, one tournament series one cash -> freeroll).

2) Possibly same kind of promotion with some twist in cash games. Make it like a freeroll which is ~step3 prize in missions which requires cash game play or so with greater stakes getting larger starting stacks in tournament (could be NL4 for 1500, NL10 for 2000, NL25 for 2500, NL50 for 3000, NL100 for 4000, NL200 for 5000 and NL400 for 6000. Just one possibility.

I know it is costly, but signing Blom would certainly cost a lot more with smaller effect. With right marketing plan this promotion would certainly appeal more players to try poker and bring new players too.

This way you would have some "regular" players and maybe also recs represented who have actually "achieved" something and could be proud playing those live events. During season you could then blog and use social media to follow your "pros".

This looks like a different problem - have you tried clearing IE cookies/cache? That solves a lot of login problems.

The hand history screen sucks right now. I'd definitely like to improve that part of the client in the relatively near future.

Android is definitely high on the list but it's also a lot of work. I'd say a couple of months into 2015.

It's fine to play from Slovakia while British, but I think Unibet's payment systems don't like the credit card country being different from the country you're in at the moment. You'd have to talk to support about that kind of thing though, I'm afraid I don't know a great deal about the payment processes here.

I agree that it's close but I'm not sure there's much we can do about it. Moving buttons around at this point is going to be pretty disorienting for the majority of players. Perhaps a workaround would be to use the mousewheel to change betsizing instead? I realise this isn't ideal.

If you qualify for Copenhagen this weekend then I can look into moving it to London - it maaaay be too late though, we need to confirm hotel bookings etc (plus you'd need to get here in time)

Sorry, I'm afraid I don't convert UO tickets to non-UO:

In a few weeks we'll bring back "Road To Cannes" or a variant of it, and it'll get even worse then.

First, I'm definitely going to reduce the frequency of the 2 & 7 Challenge. Second, we'll PROBABLY (but I can't guarantee yet) change Challenges to award points per individual Challenge rather than awarding a fixed amount per Challenge. This'll be based on how many hands it takes.

I like this kind of idea for 2015 loyalty. Perhaps do something like "if you reach 1.25m points per quarter every quarter in 2015, be entered into a freeroll where the top n players gain entry to every 2016 UO.

I also agree that there's a good reason most sites don't have sponsored pros.

Basically - it depends. We've had very good NL400 traffic lately, but it's down to how quickly new players lose really. If we have higher stakes, perhaps some of the weak sportsbook players who sometimes play those games will lose faster and leave the site entirely.

We have a scheme for testing this early next year, but it isn't certain yet.

Hi, Andrew. Tonight Unibet have the freeroll, StatymailT, for residents from Lithuania, Ireland, UK, Germany and Norway.
I am from Norway, so what is the password? Nobody seems to know that, because no players have sign up to the tournament. Even though it has been open for over 5 hours now..

It's an affiliate tournament and isn't open to the public I'm afraid.

I have to agree with the sponsored pro thing. Does seem old school marketing. Ostensibly for hardened regs rather than recs. Im sure there is some value to cost benefit ratio but i would much prefer a more customer focused marketing in line with the company ethos. I would much rather play in a tournament with andrew west rather than a sponsored pro. I suspect that companies that create a personal touch with customers will win in the long run.
