Had the exact same two on my table as well.

4nl table, same avatars - ukghghhh would 4bet to 3.98 - kolasgh 5bets and ukghghh would fold for 2c more. Happened on 4 straight occasions, when I open jammed over the top of it they both folded.

Is there any problem if my main account is in another currency than euro?

Are Unibet taking out any fee or doing some numbers rounding that would cost me money on the constant currency exchange when you play poker?

No; exchange rates changes once per day, but they dont take fees or anything. When you buy in, they exhacnage you on the spot and use same rate to exhange you back when you leave. I have currency in usd and i was worried about the same thing.

One thing that is frequently observed ITT is that players start to think of their balance as a number of euros (as that's how its displayed in the client) and start to feel that they are "losing" and "gaining" euros as the exchange rate changes - but their balance in their home currency remains the same.

Bad time to be away, sorry for the login problems. I'm looking into what's happened. If you were unable to complete Moving On Up as a consequence, please contact support, they should know to escalate it to 3rd line support for a refund.

Are people still experiencing these problems? If so, could you post your alias please? We can maybe use that information to track the problem down.

You can't convert it into non-UO tickets or cash, but you can request that it be extended if you want. It's fine to qualify for the Unibet Opens in 2017 with it.

Yup. The general policy if you have two packages is:

If you win one package to an event via satellites and a second via Challenges or another promo, we can move the 2nd package to a later event, or we can convert it into €2k of tickets.

If you win one package via any method, we can move it to a later event, though the closer we get to the current one, the harder it is move and I can't guarantee it.

If you win one package via any method, alternatively we can convert it to €1k of tickets. This is a reduced amount because we get a lot of value having players go to these events - we think it keeps them as players for longer, and we get good press. This is also why we effectively subsidise UO satellites with overlays at the lower end.

This is a site wide thing rather than a poker thing, so I'm afraid I can't say much about general policies.

Most sites have this in my experience. PokerStars do, for example, though it isn't enforced in 100% of cases.

No, not really. And I don't think it's good to stereotype like that. But in any case, Russians can't open new accounts on Unibet for legislative reasons.

Exactly. And because currency fluctuations are essentially random, you should end up neutral from the exchanges in the long run.

While on XP (which btw does usually work and allow 4-tabling in the beta web client though I think there are sometimes problems at my end) I played a bit of fast fold poker on a leading betting exchange's skin on a network late at night. They had maybe only 8 or 9 players in the pool, but the interesting feature was that if we had to wait a bit (I mean like seconds) then it was willing to just start another hand with about 4 people - I've never seen fast fold poker do anything less than full tables before.

Maybe if you had 1-6 players it could run just like a standard cash table, then from 7+ players it would run like a zoom pool but allow hands to start as short as 3-handed if they don't go off within about 5 seconds.

Certainly for me I was locked out of the desktop client for about 24 hours - my location is Slovakia, OS Windows 10 and I'm guessing there's a fairly wide range of locations ITT from people who were locked out.

Not that I'm complaining, I won 2 MTTs 4-tabling in the beta web version while all the pros were taking a break

Hey Andrew, thx for your response/time Looking back into my chat history with support, I noticed that I mistakened/misremembered what I thought was some sort of hostility (they always remained polite, tbh) with simple dismissal/denial of responsibility from their part (you might want to ask the other poster about a concrete example of hostility...), which I thought to be weird, as both you, Andrew, and chat support have been A+ thus far

Anyhow, to make a long story short, in the past, when Unibet had frequent disconnection issues, I never bothered to contact support for small pots lost (despite them accumulating quite fast), so it did come as a surprise when I finally decided to contact support via email and get completely (and politely, yes) shut down in what was a trivial refund (in a single raised pot, I was the preflop raiser, I had Ax on a AA1010x board in a spot where we are always splitting, but lost my connection on Unibet (not on Party, Stars or any browsing activities) which cost me 28 Euros, yet support was utterly unreceptive about it ). So anyways, when we were hit with disconnections this weekend and email support refused to acknowledge it (yet chat support was receptive and apologized for the inconvenience of the software issues), I was once again shocked/unimpressed.

I also sent an e-mail with another ticket request (25NL -> 25MTT) but the Dutch support is simply not responding anymore, I never had any problems with them before. Can you please make sure they convert the ticket?

Hi Andrew, can you do something with your support? Really disgusting situation, they ask me to send and resend different documents, changing the rules of how I should do it, there is no feedback after I send some part of documents for around two weeks. I had proved account and just deposit from another card, so now I need to send all the docks again. Also they ask as additional docks, and the docks they ask I sent them before. So I had send it twice! Account is blocked of course so I can't play for this two or more weeks. Ok if you don't need me to play on your room at least let me take back my money! It was easier to withdraw from some creepy casino, didn't expect from such big room with soch beautiful software.

Disconnection issues keep persisting for over a month now, tourney lobbies keep reverting back in time. Right now the software is really crappy..
