bad news
Client still crashes same way it did before when you play 10 tables, quit 1 or more tables and reopen max tables again. Really hoped this would have been solved, the time outs are very tilting and draining money

Update: forget it, I thought I was playing the Sunday Entitled Qualifier from my other ticket but just figured out, that was the ticket that I wanted to exchange. But now I have €5 SE MTT ticket, so can you exchange it to €5 NL Banzai ticket please. Thank you.
Hi Andrew, is it normal i didn't get my tickets from last and this week streamings? I messaged Unibetpoker on twitch but no answer...

Earlier I said I'd prefer 200 EUR prices but that's only for selfish reasons because I'm an NL/PLO25-50 player. Considering the bigger picture I agree that bigger stakes players likely like the 400 EUR prices better and also the 400 EUR prices probably look better in the marketing. (And also because I have run so bad in the double troubles thus far, but that's on me lol).
It's not the stake that matters, it's the amount you rake. So it depends entirely on how much you play at either stake.
Haha, I just logged in for the first time today and was wondering how come I have suddenly received the chip and a chair achievement. Apparently, after I called it a night yesterday and left my alias hanging around on the Squid freeroll when there were over 500 entrants left, I succesfully cruised to the money for 0.33€. Weeee! I guess I play my best game when I'm not even around.
Just been in a game where the bb was shown as sat out I pushed from the sb and then the
bb called even though from my point of view they were sat out. hand 270864190.
I think if a player is shown as sat out when the cards are dealt they shouldnt be able to play that hand.

I don't agree with this in tournaments. I think being dealt a good hand, or a good spot to steal or good odds to call or whatever, while being sitout cause you went to the bathroom for 30s or to get a cup of tea or a sandwich or to get the door, or watching tv, or wife screaming, or some other window above your table, and then not being able to click anything and do anything with your hand even though it might be a full minute till you have to act after you came back, is absolutely infuriating. Had a bunch of these situations when reconnecting, when the DC problems were happening, just staring at my hand hoping I can get back in while seeing everyone at the table playing just fine because the "I'm back" button wouldn't pop up, really not fun.
You could argue that that's the rule in live poker, so why not here too. IMO online poker is supposed to be convenient, you just jump in and play at any time while still being able to do other things. I don't think that adding an extra punishment for people who don't stay glued to their poker table, would be a good idea.
That being said, I think there is a visual bug (for quite a while now), where the player already sat in but is still shown as a sit out to everyone else, until someone makes an action in front of him, and that might be what happened to you as well. IMO the sitting in animation should be completely instant from the perspective of the other players, and not queued after a certain trigger. Didn't really get to test this bug tho, because it requires the perspective of 2 players to know what's going on.

This is a problem and needs to be fixed asap. I don't want to give anyone any ideas but this actually opens the doors to some angling that we don't want.
Unibet needs to make it so what others see at the table is the same in real time for the player sitting out. Until they can do this your suggestion of a player not sitting in at the beginning of the hand is a valid one despite the poor guy who went to the bathroom missing a hand.

But I agree that ideally, the game would show in real time whether someone is sitting in or out. I don't know exactly how it does this at the moment, but I suspect it's pretty fundamental behaviour and so it'll be tough to fix.
If it is of any interest, I have been doing some casual research, with some intriguing results....
I have mentioned previously that I usually run Windows 7 in a VM on a Linux (openSuse) host. I have now for comparison, a clean (native) install of Windows 10, with all up-to date drivers etc.
The first thing I will say that it IS better.. but it still is horribly demanding, in particular of CPU
My machine is no gaming beast, but is a perfectly adequate machine (It runs GTA V eg!)
(AMD Phenom II x4 905E, 8Gb Ram, R9 270)
I don't want to fill the forum with clutters of pictures.. BUT....
If I have the "Challenges" open in the main lobby (which is my usual), ie the screen showing what hands I need to get the next increment, ONE of my CPU's % load doubles, and temps go up, fans come on etc. The other cores show an increase in loads as well. This is instant and 100% reproducible. If I go back from that screen, the load instantly drops back to parity with the other CPU cores, which also drop back.
Would you pass this on to the the Likely Lads of Lithuania, please... . (Damn. Estonia does not alliterate.) (Leave it in anyway).

ps This does not noticeably happen when in the VM, but loads caused by the Unibet SW are so high anyway, that it might not show up...
If anyone apart from Andrew has got this far, it would, I think, be helpful if you have monitoring SW to try this. Even if you have a massively powerful PC, but especially if you have a quad-core AMD.

And if by any chance you have come to the conclusion that I only come here to moan.... My elderly father asked me to have a tidy-up of his generic tablet, Android 4.4 ish, IIRC. So instead of "tidying up"; I started by installing the UB client. It was very good indeed, lovely graphics, even on a cheapo no-name tablet. Bloody shame I can't multi-table on it..
Just confirming what Wakou said about the Challenges screen. INTEL CPU here and the load does spike and stay high while in that screen. Which is weird since that screen doesn't update in real time, you need to exit it and come back in to see changes in progress, I think ... I'm pretty sure.
And one of the regular followers on the Twitch casts (also Intel) IIRC, mentioned that hiding the lobby makes a huge difference. I thought that this might be because of the animations/promotions on the lobby screen, but obv not. I am not, quite obviously, an expert, but there is something not right.....

my load has 4 levels;
lowest load is in the main opening screen (with the quick select thingie) 5-7%
lower load is in the "full-tournament lobby" 9-13%
higher load is in "account lobby" 12-15%
highest load is in when we open the challenges 23-25%
the % are specific for the unibet software (not total for my pc)
ps i actually had a bitcoinminer-virus on my pc, after removing this, i have a little bit less problems, also it looks like it performance is a bit improved in the new version, but it's still crashing about 1 time in 2 days (was about 1 time a day) on avg
another thing that works for me is not opening cashtables while tourneytables are starting/almost starting, this seems to be connected with my crashes, but im not 100% sure how it's related yet
PC: AMD X6 (6core) @3.9 Ghz, 8GB, 560TI, SSD's for everything poker related and OS, Win10 x64, drivers up to date, virus/malwarefree, just FYI

I agree this isn't great. I don't like the idea that if someone was sat out at any stage in the hand, they can't take any more actions. There's a reason that we sit people out rather than just throw them out.

Also as sect7g said in this case I felt the player was angle shooting as I was the low stack on the bubble in a UK25. I think some players definitely use this method quite frequently.
I don't want the Estimable Estonian Expertise to feel too bad... So can I add that "Microsoft Edge" has a similar instant hit on my CPU....
Hi Andrew can you please exchange my 10e SNG ticket into bonus please?

The challenges is what I was referring to. I can understand that some of them were being abused... but the fact is without the easy to reach by your style of play challenges I foresee that my rb will drop about 20%. Maybe that's the intention from Unibet's pov. Personally my hand ranges aren't adjusted by challenges. If it's the be dealt a hand ending in #99 I won't tighten up. Maybe others do. Will this challenge be reviewed?
My point is nearly every challenge has some flaws that can affect play styles/hand selection. I hope that you continue to run challenges as they are unique to Unibet and a solution can be reached that works for everyone.

I realise that this "cost" some players effective rakeback, but the amount we projected to pay out didn't change from Q4 to Q1. If we do make any significant changes, I'll post about it here way in advance, and we'll trail it on the site etc.
In the long term, I do intend to reduce Challenges payouts and use that money to reward losing players instead, but we're talking many months away so I don't have details yet.

I do think i have a lot less 1-table freezing, and tbh maybe it's even gone for now, but i will try to keep track this weekend.....
i used to also have 1-table freezes when i did not have cashgames running, and i'm about 99% sure that situation is fixed for me
now when it freezes, it's the whole client which points to the Adobe Air thing
in short i will pay extra notice to the particulrr freezes this weekend and prob will report back on sunday about this

The way it works is,I think is as NMPfan said a player appears sat out till someone calls or raises. So possibly the player from their perspective is sat in but from the rest of the table it looks like they are sat out.

I also think NMP is spoton about the "action needed"
I was actually in the game jonny is talking about, and i'm about 40-60 with the 60 being he just DC'ed or toiletbreak and the 40 being an angleshoot
However it's a problem, which shouldn't occur in my POV, i steal "standard" from sitouters (i know, no mercy) and i actually think maybe in 10% of the time it might be a angleshooter
Is this something we should report btw? (if we can spot it), it's a bit difficult based on 1 hand tbh because they actually might be DC'ed and just got a good hand when we try to steal and the clicked "i'm back"
On the other hand, if i DC'ed and get back on the BB with a raise from late positions, i tend to play back supercrazy (3bet(shoving) any2 and such) which kinda explains some situations......
it would be awesome, if you can make it so it's realtime, not waiting for the action or something like that
Cheers, Have a nice weekend guys
oh btw,
is there a way, i don't miss any promo's?
I actually wanna go to the UO, and i also just found out there are/were wildcard tourneys for dutchies (Jeej!!!) unfortunatley i missed the first 6, which i obviously wanted to play
ah well hopefully we run good in the last few of the series
cheers
EDIT: i'm just realising if i did not knew about the promo, there are probably a lot more who don't know about this great promo!!!("as i now did some research on it" Nice unibet, very very good promo for us dutchies )

Just a warning to all players planning on making a deposit and trying to play some legit poker at unibet. Save you're time and money. If you're looking for a fair game unibet is not the place to go. I am speaking from over 10 years of poker playing experience with 6 years of solid steady online play. Unibet is INFESTED with colluding cash game AND sit and go players. Want to investigate a little on your own? Open a 5 max sit and go and watch your blinds be 3 and 4 bet with hands like 2 5 offsuit preflop and be checked down to the river with no more betting action once you fold. The most recent game I played at the $25 euro buy in level, there was not a single hand out of 42 individual hands whilst 3 handed on the bubble where my two "opponents" played back at each other. NOT ONE HAND. The plays I have witnessed in the last 2 months at unibet are only explainable by 1 logical reason, collusion. PLO cash games? Forget about it, if you're lucky enough to be on a table with these cheating scumbags you will start to notice the absolutely absurd cold 3 and 4 bets with JUNK hands, to build your preflop calls into the pot and steal your blinds a dollar at a time. I am not trying to post a rage fueled bad beat rant that we have all read time and time again, I am genuinely taking the time to warn future players from the BLATANT cheating that is allowed to take place in all games on unibet. Stay far far away if you are looking for a real game with real individual players.

And btw I've played more than 6 million cash game hands on other sites over twelve years and have received in total 2 reimbursements totalling $7 dollars despite paying 500k in rake.
I have a serious problem with the Unibet client. Started some days ago, almost every time when I want to launch it, it just shows a black screen and the message "this game requires an internet connection, pls ensure you have a working internet connection". Occasionally it starts and I can log in but it is broken and I can not start tables.
Problem is, my internet is fine and other poker clients work well. I talked to support, tried several things like updating Java/Shock player, deleting cookies and temporary internet files, completely uninstalling the client and reinstalling it. Nothing worked.
Any idea what to do?

Had another table freeze, last 10 people on the money bubble, I restarted and got back in time so no problem for me, just reporting.
Client version 1.23.1 , Windows 7, Intel processor. It was the only game I was playing at the time on Unibet. The poker client was still working. Also I was watching the other table. Every single player ended up disconnecting at one point or another, randomly, 1 or 2 disconnected players per table. The final table only had a few disconnects at the beginning.
@jonny2192 I didn't see the hand so I might be missing some information but I don't really see the logic in someone wanting to intentionally encourage people to shove on his BB on the bubble of a satellite. First of all everyone would see him as a sitout so anyone could choose to shove. Second, I believe you need to sitout the previous hand (I might be wrong) for the bug to occur, so you can't target the angle with specific hands unless you sitout every hand. Third, I noticed another bug a while ago while testing this timebank bug http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...ostcount=11894 , in which if you click the sit out button in tournaments multiple times it gets stuck as sitout for 1-2 hands, so funnily enough this bug creates a big downside to the possible angling of the other bug . Obviously this whole problem still needs to get fixed because as Ariebombarie pointed out, it heavily affects the table dynamic, and though the very nature of the bug it looks like every hand someone is trying to cheat you.
@Ariebombarie didn't the promotion show up in the scrolling banners in the poker client? You should pay more attention to that . Also it seems like multiple nations got some exclusive promotions this month, mine just ended, really cool stuff, props to Unibet for yet again finding new ways to spice things up.
@Igor could it be an antivirus/firewall that is silently blocking internet access to the client? Had this problem before because of this, just had to change the rule in the antivirus for it to work. Maybe this helps.

Unfortunately no antivirus/firewall. As said, sometimes the login works but it is kinda broken, if I try to open tables I just get a black screen, also can not open my profile in the client. The problem started suddenly some days ago, when I had some wifi disconnects.
Hi Andrew,
Can you please change my major challenge (Reach a flop of QJT in any order or suit 0/3)? I really dislike this challenge because of the huge variance.

If I remember properly me and arie were the two lowest stacks with them sat out, it would have forced arie to have to play hands he might not normally play to stop me keep steeling the bb(he was sb to my bb) at the very least the sat out player knows I am at a minimum going to call to steal the blind with atc.So by 'pretending' to be sat out they are trying force action from me and trying to force me and arie to fight it out.
Its possible thats not the case in this hand,it just felt that way to me but I think there are people that use this tactic sometimes(I have noticed it before but because I tend to play more MTTs at the same time I dont notice it as often)
regarding the post above by jonny, i agree with his stance in this particular case
maybe to clarify, the person you were talking about was playing on your left, so in positions it would go from right to left; Ariebombarie - jonny2192 - the guys who was sitting out (dont know his name anymore)
Hey NMP, Its actually NOT in the promo-thing, i tend to check that daily, bacuase i think its a decent way to find out which promo's are running. I think that has to do with the promo's being for all-countries, and it's probably hard(er) to program it so it also shows "country-restricted promos only for those country inhabitants".
thanks for thinking along

@Ariebombarie didn't the promotion show up in the scrolling banners in the poker client? You should pay more attention to that . Also it seems like multiple nations got some exclusive promotions this month, mine just ended, really cool stuff, props to Unibet for yet again finding new ways to spice things up.
thanks for thinking along
