I've just been told: the money is displayed in € despite your balance being in GBP. The conversion rate is done at the spot rate (i.e. we don't make money from it). Money doesn't actually move, it's just a display thing.

The amount of traffic shouldn't matter - it wasn't intended to be a game of skill, it was intended to mean "one hand from a thousand". That one is gone though. The following are gone too:
NLHE MAJOR: Showdown a fullhouse
NLHE MINOR: Be dealt any one gap connected hand of any suit
NLHE MINOR: Be dealt into a hand where the last three digits are 321
NLHE MINOR: Be dealt every starting hand
PLO MAJOR: Showdown four of a kind
PLO MAJOR: Flop three of a kind using two holecards
PLO MINOR: Be dealt into a hand whose number ends with 999
PLO MINOR: Have four running cards (4567+) in your hand

I believe that this has been resolved with a server-side update. It should all be back to what it's meant to be. Let's just pretend this was all a way to give you a sneak-peak of what's coming. Or something.

Might this be a hand animation thing? It may assume that animation is on and doesn't react when it's actually off. Annoyingly I can't even load the client in the office as we need office IT to push the latest version out.
